Firefighters responded to a report of a house fire. Upon the arrival of SDPD officers and SDFD firefighters, they found smoke coming from the front and rear of the home, and a resident was standing outside.
The elderly resident told the firefighters that her dryer had caught on fire. Firefighters quickly got the fire out and blew the smoke from inside the home. The resident will not be displaced.

Good advice, but the fire was probably caused by a blockage from buildup somewhere in the ducting, which can happen over time if it’s neglected.
