- INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-4-22 12:55 pm
LOCATION: SB SR-125 JSO Lemon Ave
CITY: La Mesa
DETAILS:
A Tow Truck driver was towing the RV southbound on the SR-125 when he saw smoke coming from the rear of the RV. He pulled over immediately to the right shoulder and choked the wheels before unhooking the RV from his truck. Firefighters arrived and fought the stubborn fire as it kept coming back. The freeway traffic was slowed but not stopped. The #3 lane was blocked. The RV is destroyed.
One of these days Doug they are gonna hand you the hose and ask if you wanna put the fire out.
I've pulled plenty of hose out of the fires. LOL!
@@911VideoNews Doug AKA papas n beer foo!!! you kick ass brother!!! be safe and keep up the good work 🎥 🎞 📽
@@911VideoNews Good "pun", Doug! LOL! 😂
@@911VideoNews 🤣🤦🏽♂️
That's an old RV but even so it's someone's home.
I saw you at the house fire in Santee, you get around man!
Those RV burn up really fast. When i was younger, our neighbor just got. home from having they're RV repaired. A loose fuel line caught the engine compartment on fire. In less than 5 minutes, it was totally engulfed in flames. Fire extinguisher was stored on the inside of the hood and it was too hot to touch and open. The fire Department showed up 7 minutes after they were called, and it was pretty much burned up.
Sad for the owner
That RV on fire is perfect representation of east county.
The burned down police station and exploding ambulance were more expressive in El Cajon.
🤣
i love firefighters..
The front part is still ok..
.
Really nice thumbnail picture!
Thanks!
Tonight, someone else will join the thousands sleeping on our streets. Criticize, pontificate all you want but the streets are a nightmare nobody deserves. God bless this person.
No one lived inside of it. It was being towed.
This was cool to watch...but damn someone lost everything I bet it was their home 😓
Always a tragedy when this happens 😕
Judging by the condition of the surviving half.... this was a collector's item with much insurance, not a home.
I'm no firefighter but it seems to me you can get the fire out quicker by leaving the hose on until the whole fire is out.
They were allowing the fuel to burn off, better to allow the excess fuel to burn rather than it possibly going down a drain.
@@dawg7915 ok didn’t realize that. Thanks. Learn something new everyday.
The United States needs an MOT type vehicle inspections to get the sub standard vehicles off the road. Cars should not catch fire driving down the freeway.
Like Germany’s motor safety standards. Driving is a privilege not a right. There are too many substandard drivers who disregard everyone on the road.
Almost better to let it burn itself out.
Looked like a classic RV too. Bummer
Doug must have a drone copter. You beat the public safety, amazing really.
I was nearby at the Santee fire
May have come from la mesa RV in mesa,az
It was on the 125 south. Passed by after they got the fire out. Wonder how the fire started
So many of these fires out on the highway need trucks with foam. Just my thought. These seem to always have gas leaking and on fire. Thanks.
Somebody left the bacon cooking on the stove
Nah, Walter White overcooked the meth.
Still has a good engine!
3:30 - Now that's what I call firefighter bukkake!
4:12 - Yeah! Work it!
All bad, drove right by here.. Glad the vehicle was unoccupied.
Didn't they watch Breaking Bad? Take that cooking shit to the desert.
That will buff right out
I hope nobody was hurt or injured?? What on earth happened
Looks like the cab was ok at first but the firefighters let it burn fully before fully putting out the fire ?? 😞😞
That will buff right out.
1972 calling........ we are trying to reach you about your extended warr........ oh, nevermind.
Tuff fire to put out /toxic smoke/propane/gasoline!!!
My rv will burn faster than that. Built in Canada in 1987 and the wood is roughcut fence wood rejects. In one 1"× 1 and1/2" ×12" piece that fell (!) off had 9 knotholes that reached across the wood entirely. Came out of the wheelwells and was covered with 1/2" of expanding foam painted black. And it has 21" rims so I'm stuck with bias ply tires. Can't find radials anymore for it at least ones that aren't several years old already. I'm fucked.
Any ideas as to what caused the fire ? 👀
My guess is hot brakes. Maybe the tow driver forgot to release the RV's parking brake, or maybe the RV had other brake issues. Pure speculation though.
my money is also on the tow truck driver.
Tiffany lost another RV.
😮
Doug, bro... if you’re gonna be first on the scene at least try to put out the fire 😁
I feel like they should be using foam, not just water!
They were.
@@911VideoNews Thanks! I Saw it towards the end of the video. I used to design, build, test, and install marine based firefighting systems!
Hey dude I know that guy......that's Johnny's RV omg that's terrible. I thought he was joking when he said he was going to burn his "POS" down but holy moly, golly he was serious I guess...SMH God damn you Johnny don't ask 4 me help 🖕
Let me guess, johnny is a homless vagrant, right?
Terrible site
Awe, a drug addicts squatting vehichle, Oh no, its broken!
There you go again, making assertions with zero evidence to back them up.
Profile name derived from the 2016 movie "Straight Outta Compton". Profile pic looks like it's "Captain Spalding" from Rob Zombie's 'House of 1000 Corpses". Not too creative, and neither is your comment.
