Funny, I remember seeing these trucks on the highways in the 90's hauling onions and falling on the highway for freebies along the way. Been a fat minute seeing one of these.
FYI -- The ( Green) Holly accelerator pump diaphragm is for, Alcohol Fuel, when used on a engine that runs straight gasoline it will run and work for a short time , thin start leaking gas while continuing to pump fuel, Fire hazard for sure.
The company I worked for had a F600 with a 28ft metal floor stake side and a folding hydraulic ramp for a laundromat company used to move washers around and heavy machinery and I think it was a 72 or so model. I worked at the company for 35 years and only once or twice did the old truck break down. I think it had a 391 and 5 speed transmission with a 2 speed differential.
Hey Mr. B! I'm going to let someone else enjoy it. I don't have the time two work on two of these trucks at once unfortunately! They take a lot of resources
Hi, the custom cab is like a dog later on.hat could be a good g truck to put on a motor home chasis!fat rod. would you be interested in selling the motor? And creating it up to ship? I've been looking for one from a dump ruck with the heavy rods and crank, and ram horn manifolds but speedway motors sell them repops. Anyway let me know thank you.
Of course you bent your screwdriver. It’s Morske screwdriver. It’s probably just for scraping off oily gunk or pieces is gasket. Certainly not for unscrewing anyrhing.
I have a 1957 Ford F-600 and I absolutely love the bass-y sound of the 292 it has when I'm in the cab.
Jeff mission accomplished. You got it running. That 1959 will flip. Thanks for sharing! 💯👊👍
I cannot believe you got a Y block to run with the original starter and without bursting into flame after touching it with a Mortske screwdriver
😂
Im not looking forward to rebuilding the holley carb on my 345 international motor
I thought I was setting myself up for singed hair once I took the valve covers off!
Sweet ride, napa would be your friend with that truck
That would make a nice flat bed tow rig.

Like those old Y Blocks, I have one in my 59 Edsel and it runs great!
That was so depressing to watch. I was born in July 1959. I was hoping for a miracle, while you attempted to revive that old Ford truck. To bad. 😢
To me y blocks sound just like a fe Ford 352-390
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. So what is your plan ? It’s not going to be parts truck ? Very cool truck ! 👀😎👍

Donor engine, sure..shame there couldn't be some kind of a conversion done to an old school camper of some kind.
Next time fill the float bowl on the carb its right in front of you , it's a lot less dangerous .
What were you using for fogging oil?
