We work on and collect classic cars, specifically Pontiacs! In the videos, I'll talk about how to bring these old cars back from the dead and get them driving again, most of the time for as cheap as possible. Old cars are a lot more fun when you can drive them!
1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible! Rare Car Gets Driven Again!
In this episode, I work on a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible that I brought home from Canada a year ago. It had been sitting for a number of years outside of Winnipeg. The owner listed it for sale on Facebook and the options of the car caught my eye. It's a convertible which makes it rare in and of itself (only 5700 made, one year only), it has cornering lights in the fenders, it has 8 lug Kelsey Hayes wheels, it has reclining bucket seats with headrests, and the engine is a 350 horsepower 400 cubic engine powerplant. I figured Winnipeg was only a day's drive, so I left early one January morning to do a Canada turnaround. I don't think the temperature got above ten degrees the entire trip, which didn't make fueling up or loading the car very enjoyable. Despite the weather, the entire trip went well and the car got stuffed away in the shed for a year before I got a chance to work on it. To my surprise, all the systems on the car seemed to be in decent shape! There weren't many surprises and it seems like there will be a lot of usable pieces on the car!

1965 Pontiac Catalina Drop Top Farm Find Revival!
Переглядів 18 тис.Місяць тому
In this video, I get a 1965 Pontiac Catalina Convertible running and driving for the first time in several years. About a month ago, a "local legend" of sorts who I never met before stopped by the shop and said he had a couple Pontiacs he wanted to get rid of. He had seen my cars from the highway and figured I would be interested in them. I knew roughly where his place was and when I drove in, ...
1968 Chrysler Imperial 440! Sandhills Auction Buy Revival
Переглядів 7 тис.2 місяці тому
My buddy Grant was nice enough to go with me up to the Pine Ridge Reservation where I bought this 1968 Chrysler Imperial 4 door hardtop off of an auction. We headed to a ranch just north of the Nebraska border in South Dakota, where several classics sold a couple weeks prior. The ranch was about half mile down a minimum maintenance road in what most people would call "BFE". Much to my surprise,...
Will It Run?! 1959 Ford F-600 Straight Truck! Y-Block Action!
Переглядів 12 тис.2 місяці тому
I bought this 1959 Ford F-600 straight/grain/dump truck from a fella I know the next town over. He bought it from the original owner who lived about 25 miles from me. It was driven up until the 90s, and then spent most of its dormancy in a corn crib until lately, which is likely the reason why the box is still as intact as it is. The fella I know didn't want to deal with it, so he listed it for...
1980 Pontiac Trans Am 301 To 400 Engine Swap! Big Gains For Low Dollars
Переглядів 59 тис.2 місяці тому
I bought this 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a locked up 301 engine. Prior to the video I got it unlocked and running, but it had no oil pressure. A friend of mine then told me about a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix 400/TH400 car that he had for sale. I bought it and put the engine in the Trans Am. In this video, I go over what's needed to swap the engine from the goofy and tired 301 to a more co...
30s & 40s Ford Parts Hoard Walk Through! Plus Some Pontiac Pieces!

Dave, Stacey, and I took a trip to a really neat place that Dave got acquainted with. What really caught my interest when we were first talking about it was rumor of some new old stock Pontiac fenders! He absolutely wasn't joking. I spent the day rummaging through two buildings of a sixty year collection, trying to find every 1950s and newer Pontiac part I possibly could. We came home with a gr...

Will This Farm Fresh 1964 Chevy Grain Truck Run & Drive?
Переглядів 6 тис.4 місяці тому
In a moment of weakness, I bought this 1964 Chevy C60 straight truck on a Big Iron auction. It was sitting on a ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills where it was used for many years, until the ranch bought a semi to haul grain with. This old truck is equipped with a 327 engine, 4 speed transmission, 2 speed rear differential, and a 16 foot grain box with a two cylinder hoist. I bought it sight unsee...

Some time last summer, we bought this 1966 Pontiac Catalina Convertible and a 1967 Grand Prix convertible from a fella in Illinois. Both of them had locked up engines and the Grand Prix is highly optioned with the convertible top, cornering lamps, bucket seats with head rests, air conditioning, and a bunch of other options I can't recall. This Catalina, aside from being a convertible, didn't ge...
Barn Find 1966 Pontiac 2+2 Convertible Gets 421 Engine!

Last summer we bought this 1966 Pontiac 2 2 convertible in southern Missouri on the Arkansas border. It had sat in a hay barn for about 15 years. I purchased it from the owner's widow who was so happy to see it go to someone that reminded her of her husband when he bought the car decades ago. The old hot rod has a lot of great options including a convertible top, power windows, power antenna, a...
Auction Buy 1970 Olds Cutlass "W-31" The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly!
Переглядів 12 тис.5 місяців тому
On this weeks episode, I go through and pick apart a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S W-31 clone that we bought on an auction here in Nebraska. It's currently outfitted with a 455 Big Block Olds engine with aluminum heads, big headers, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, a 750 Holley carb, and an MSD ignition system. Behind it is a Muncie 4 speed and a 12 bolt posi-trac rear differential. The car was r...
Barn Find 1964 Pontiac Catalina Runs & Drives After 30+ Years!
Переглядів 238 тис.6 місяців тому
We bought a 1963 and 1964 Pontiac Catalina from an estate in central Nebraska. Both cars sat next to each other in a barn since the late 80s/early 90s. In this video, I try to get both of the cars running and driving. The 1963 is a 4 door sedan 389 and the 1964 is a 2 door coupe 389. I had more luck with one car than the other! Some steps that were highlighted in the video were tuning the ignit...
1959 & 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible Barn Finds! Will They Drive After 30 Years?
Переглядів 338 тис.6 місяців тому
We bought these two 1959 and 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertibles from a farmer in central Nebraska who had them in his shed for over 30 years. We were able to buy seven old Pontiacs from him. His father bought the cars in the late 80s and early 90s. His son had no recollection of any of the cars running since his father bought them. The 1959 has license plates from 1984 and the 1960 has plates...
1967 Pontiac LeMans Convertible Put Back On The Road After 38 Years!
Переглядів 16 тис.6 місяців тому
In this video, I surprised my friend by putting his late-brother's 1967 Pontiac LeMans (GTO clone) convertible back on the road for the first time in 38 years. This 1967 LeMans has nearly every GTO-specific piece on it. Under the hood is a 400 CI Pontiac engine with a Turbo 400 transmission. It was parked back in 1986. The old hot rod was in beautiful shape despite its long hibernation. I had a...

We bought TWO white 1963 Pontiac Catalina 4 doors! Both 389 cars, one manual transmission, one auto, one is a sedan, and the other is a four door hardtop! The sedan was purchased running and driving. The hard top allegedly didn't run. In this video, I get the hard top running and back on the road for the first time in 12 years, while spending as little money as possible!

8500 dollar car
Killer cars 👍👍👍👍👍
When you are ever going to show a full rebuild? You stop when the hood is still off and the top is not right and the interior is still a mess and one of the gauges is not working and the tires need replacing I just unsubscribed from your channel. If you ever decide to finish what you started and show it on video lets me know. Otherwise you just wasted 1/2 hr of my time. FAIL DISLIKE SEE YA.
You mean you're that cheap you refuse to buy EvapoRust?... Jesus; spend the few bucks and save yourself hours of scrubbing and wire bushing.
Between you and Derek, I am learning a bunch, Thanks Jeff.
Sweet ride, napa would be your friend with that truck
these videos are badass!! Great for reference for my pontiac, which is hard to find other than in the books.
Confused these rare car u people get, then u park in a barn for rats to destroy them. I have not once see anyone put rat bait in them??

Is the guy willing to share his info and maybe sell a few things to the general public?
There’re at least 3 UA-camrs I can think about off the top of my head that should know about this place. VGG, This -n- That Grage and more importantly Mortske Repair.
Whoa, I would be overwhelmed.

the 1970 Canada 2+2 got 454 Chevy ls5 390 hp .Why not clean and paint the trans after doing that to the engine you can get Silver trans paint ! oh you can get taller factory style valve covers that clear but look stock .
Beats buying s new one!
U got plenty of room!!
Put Lucas in it! No Quaker State ever!
RARE! Get on the internet for pts!
Nothing like hitting 60 mph down your driveway. Mailbox is in one zip code and the house is in another.
The old Pontiacs were fast and luxurious
Love the channel and the Pontiac content. My Dad had a Canadian 1963 Parisienne which I think was pretty rare: tt was black with red interior, buckets, console, powerglide with floor shifter, manual steering and brakes with a chevy 283. I never saw another one like it. Keep up the great work!
I had a 77 Pontiac Lemans. The 305 was a terrible engine but the 455 Olds engine I put in was amazing. If you get tired of the 74 front clip with the missing urathane grill you can put a 76 or 77 front clip on it. The fenders are probably the same. Maybe the hood too.
OMG.. you score some nice Pontiacs there.. THAT is a really pretty nice car.. interior, steering wheel etc. is in great shape.. if you can get that zipper window going, you will be styling.. My old 64 Convertible, the top never worked, but I was in my 20's, I used to just lift it up and down on my own.. But that was way before the internet and knowing about all the supply houses...lol That 65 GP is running beautifully.... Damn.. Further into the video.. man do I love a clean shiny engine... I need to do this with my cars, but I don't have any of the skills, but I do have a good bit of the tools... So awesome...How many days/hours did that all take you?? Just got through the last part wow...What a nice job.. I loved the detail on the brakes.. I need that tutorial badly... Nice job...
My buddy had a white 66. It had a couple of odd features. It had 2 4 bbl. Carburetors. One was not hooked up to the gas pedal, it had string run through the firewall connected to it, and when he needed it he would grab the string and pull. Also it had a liquor bar behind the front seats that somehow would be able to pump booze and soda into a glass. It had an ice tray also.
As you proceeded with the video. I remember the video on the Big Red having issues with the carb.
Clean trans filter, fresh fluid and check the vacuum modulator (affects the shifting)
Winnipeg is in Manitoba
The only year of Pontiac that I ever liked, because of the Front End
That GP seems full of Bondo.
Absolutely beautiful Pontiac ragtop! Definitely worth restoring! Thank you for sharing this!
I love those 4165 holleys
Should check the tag on the firewall too see if it is a real GTO with lemans QuarterPanels👍👍💯💯
