because the annual pass is completely new and different content while this was a 10 light increase and a bunch of eververse stuff with reskinned modes

I have been saying this since D2 DROPPED. we have a sparrow, ship, Hand Cannon, and even a sniper. the reverie dawn armor is not enough because you can only use it when on dreaming city grounds
This actually would make sense seeing that they added a Taken ship, sparrow and also the Malfeasance. Weird that they didn’t bring these back.

Secondly the developer is the one on charge of locking the frames, and optimizing hardware, you mean to tell me that the PS4 that runs Battlefield 4, on 1080p and 60FPS, and Uncharted 4 1080p 60 FPS, is not capable of Running Destiny at 60 FPS?. Get out of here.

Someone needs to tell Bungie that we need the taken armor back for Destiny 2 and I know the tangled web armor is basically the taken armor just reskin but I feel like to taken armor is way more better
Why are people downvoting this? We (community) asked for an update like this. We are getting it. More ways to reach max light level is what I'm hyped for.

I think that bungie may never bring back the Taken armor sets and its really sad because theirs a Taken ship and sparrow in D2(edit)I forgot about the Taken transmit effect.

I mean, you could have a set of the dreaming city and turn ascendant. I also loved the taken set, but if it came back, it would probably make the whole mechanic pointless.
They have to it's illegal not to not even taken armor add a taken subclass with it then my money is forever gone

I believe he directed the taken king itself but the dlc was mainly just repacked content from all the cut stuff from the vanilla game so not really that impressive
Imo this was the peak of destiny at its highest point. Even before rise if iron i always talk about the taken king after the april update it was the best time of destiny ever the only thing that us missing in it though is if they brought vault and crota and skolas into year 2

This was back then Bungie still had some of the OG staff who worked on halo on their team. Since then, pretty much all the passionate developers have left and now Bungie’s higher ups just want to do the most minimal effort for the most gain

I believe this update was maybe 3 months after I started playing the game and back then, I didn’t watch vidocs so I was absolutely blue balled when I saw a guardian with full taken armor
What I want to see in Destiny
1. Trading System
2. More vehicles and atleast a gamemode similar to Heavies in Halo
3. Sparrow actually having weapons
4. A gamemode to use our ships more than transportation
5. More cinematics
6. Making grimoire available ingame or having another way of getting lore
Trading won't happen. It's a loot based shooter, not a pay me for a shoot shooter

Destiny and Division both great games, now developers listen to me when I say this, please give us small updates like these every month. This should not be a once in a blue moon type of event. Do a May update, June, July etc... These are online mmos these games need to be restocked with content so that it does not become dry. I'm looking forward to play the new destiny April update and division incursions update.
In the ideal world, that would be the case, but it takes time to get new quality content developed.
halo is currently doing this with an update every month with the a little bit less if not the same content as this updates, so it's doable.

WHY CANT DESTINY2 HAVE TAKEN ARMOR ?
Now that we don't need keys anymore, what do we do with our old keys? Will there eventually be a way to turn them in for rewards or convert them to something else like the old style armor materials that each class had?
This is what Destiny 2 needs, content and updates like this.

What sucks is, I stopped playing this game a shortly after Taken King launched because it made me delete all my old exotics and legendaries because they were useless and now they bring them back... Well does that mean youre goong to give me back my LDR, Universal Remote, Fatebringer, Ghallajorn, Lord of Wolves, Two to the Morgue? And i dont have any friends left playing this game, so me coming back to it all alone is not going to be fun, plus I dont have time to farm and retry missions for (not even garunteed) gear. I got Dark Matter on BO3 though.

Hey Bungie i wanted to ask you something because the other day i tried to get into my bungie.net account and i forgot my password but by the the time i remebered it was too late i couldn't try again and not only that but i got kicked off Destiny then off my Destiny companion app then i got kicked off my playstaion it's banned and i just wanted to know if it's temporary or permanent? because if it's i have put so much time into that game it would honestly suck if i have to start over again.
To think this is now considered seasonal content but no longer free.

Nightfall leads to 335? Since when? There is nothing like that mentioned in the written update or the stream. Only thing strike related is: "Strike exclusives can drop up to 335." The guy on stream had a list pre-made that he read off of that lead to 335.

Well, if you didn't see the...second livestream, then you probably missed out on how difficult it will likely be to get the Taken armor. And how bad the drop rate is of pieces (which you can get different armor pieces of another class) in the new crates they're adding; of which you only get one a day or a few a week, can't remember. Basically pushing people, again, to Eververse. MAK covers it in a video.

I also have had my characters deleted at the start of ttk cuz of some bum so I pretty much had to restart the game. point is that destiny is personally my second favorite game and no matter what anyone says I'm not gonna stop playing
