Always loved how this series combined sleek, futuristic forms with gothic and medieval designs. Well done.
No other series has combined futuristic designs with medieval fantasy so perfectly like Destiny has, in my opinion. If anyone knows of another example, I'd love you to let me know because those things are my favorite.
Fallout does it but not very well for what we look for.

It wasn't that good , half the trailer only showed fightings which we ALWAYS see. I wanted more preview of gear and new weapon and final boss

Kotaku stated that bungie was working on a new Mars patrol, social space, and raid but cut it from the Taken King to take more time with it. We will probably see it as a DLC or main game raid for Destiny 2 since Prince Uldren crash landed on Mars
its gonna happen eventually but its one of the most anticipated raids people want because we don't know much about the cabal. An I feel we may go to a different world and fight the cabal on their terf. After this raid were gonna go to vex then cabal so yea.

If it gets remade. The only splicers will be vosik and aksis the rest will just be random dusk fallen, not splicers or salvation since phylaks dissed aksis in her lore card

For anyone Watching in 2018 I just want to say hello and that this is still my favorite raid of all time
Anyone else realize that this is the first dlc that doesn't give us the plot of the raid? In dark below we knew we'd be doing something with Crota, in House of Wolves we knew it was an arena, and in TTK we knew that we'd be finishing off Oryx. But in this case, all we know is that we're stopping the devil splicers. We don't know who the final boss is.
They released the grimoire on one boss. The machinist could be another. Still 6 iron lords we havent seen yet.
In the main story Saladin mention show they didn't know it till too late but SIVA can eventually control the users of it like a parasite. I think the large bodies that the ghost registered as human of the final iron lords. Means we may have to fight a couple dead ones in the raid.
Actually, it's not confirmed but widely believed it will be Aksis (even seen in the trailer in a few frames)

I would bet on a warmind, I notice a good portion takes place in a bunker like Rasputin's.

I really want this raid to comeback to D2. I miss this raid. If Bungie ever bring it to D2 the raid will be different somehow just like they did to VoG. They will add Fallen Champions (Overload and Barrier).

I really despise the cabal, they are the most boring and least interesting enemies, and they are so annoying to fight. If it was a Cabal DLC I wouldn't have bought it, I would've just waited until Destiny 2. The Fallen are the second most interesting enemies, Vex being first imo.

Yeah, I miss that from VoG, on King's Fall there were an entire two classes viable (Defender, Sunsinger, maybe one Nightstalker) and that was it. This looks more like a good' ol no holds brawl with some puzzles on the side.

Just a month ago I was running bubble titan on King's Fall and somehow one guy was trying to use a rocket launcher on the boss... from inside the bubble.
That went predictably.
Neither Bladedancers nor Strikers were at all good in VOG.
That is 1/3 of all the available subclasses at the time.
Also Sunbreakers are extremely helpful in King's Fall.
This makes me want to come back to destiny

I would never try for worlds first unless you are a youtuber or a streamer you have absolutely nothing to gain. But give everyone like a week to have the necessary light level and more people go for it blind at the same time , like they did VoG before it turned into a streamer race

yo just keep replaying story missions and archon forge check it out every now and then and see if anyone is doing it and help out trust me u will get rare armor more so then legendary but rare drops at high levels and I got from 316 to 334 in two days
just keep doing strikes they drop blues up to 366

Strikes and donations to factions!
Just keep doing strikes and replacing your blue gear you receive at the end of them. That got me to level 365 quite easily.
Buy 350 stuff from venders then strikes
Open your engrams correctly and you should be good. Also find people who have a lot of archons keep keys and do a bunch of those.

I'm at 359 so far if I can get up to 363 I should be fine for the raid. So pumped
It's honestly really stupid that they advertised the Archon's Forge as the best way to prepare for this when we can only hold one offering at any given time per character/vault and people have been getting better rewards from the heroic strike playlist
just keep running heroic strikes and apparently even challenge of elders still.
and getting to 350 is easy if u saved up any engrams or edged factions.
Farm Lv 320 Omnigul (don't have to do it in the playlist) and keep equipping blues (so you don't use too many legendary marks) until you've gotten 360 light gear
and yeah while it's fun, the forge is a bit disappointing
I already know how to level, I've seen all the methods, it's just that Archon's Forge is stupid and pointless with everything else being so much better.
