+Ms 5ooo Watts Agreed! and we got a vidoc for christmas! their enthusiasm is infectious and the music and scenes in the vidocs look awesome and always get me excited again to play the game and remind me how much fun it is and remind me to shrug off the haters and all the negative things i read sometimes online that get me down about the game sometimes, and just laugh and have fun with it again! :D
i love this video because it clearly explains sparrow racing and teases/previews it, we get to finally hear from erik osborne and jason jones for the first time in a long time and their enthusiasm and belief in the game is infectious and it feels like the game is made by gamers for gamers whenever you get the chance to hear them talk about stuff, and you can tell they are all having fun with the game which is really cool when the people who make something even have fun with it too along with us, etc.
this video also explains clearly what the live team is for and what it is and has done/worked on what they are working on right now and the types of things they are going to be working on, and alot of people have been wondering that and so now fi they watch this vidoc they will see that the eververse stuff goes to the technical support the game needs to keep running plus amazingly cool stuff like this! :D

I love that we now get sparrow racing, for me it use to be racing random people to the warsat on the Saber Strike or other things like that. I just hope that any goods you get don't require a fire team because not all players want to work with randoms or have friends to play with.

Sparrow racing is a great idea Bungie. Nextly though, if you really want to do something big, is allowing us to control our ships, have space battles, and have the ability to fast travel to a certain area on a planet. If it becomes a DLC of its own, that'd be really cool.

Not just talking bout destiny. Talking bout games/ DLC's/ and companies
+USMC DevilDog I've said this so many times, and I know it wont change, but there is nothing wrong with exclusive games. Those are good. They make the systems compete to be better than one another, which is good for the consumer. Exclusive content on a multiplat game? That doesn't really help anyone. Usually I don't mind it. For example, CoD (I don't play the series) but Xbox used to get the DLC one month early (now PS does), but it was just a month. Not a year. The PS Destiny stuff taking a whole year to come to Xbox is just ridiculous.
I've been playing since November 28th, 2014. This is it; the Hype I've been feeding everyone for so long has reached it's climax: SPARROW RACING ! All I ever wanted since launch was Sparrow Racing and Swords.

Look, another pvp event. The last PVE event we had (which, to clarify, is an event that happens every other week at most) was queens wrath over a year ago. IB happens all the time, throw us PVE players a bone Bungie, come on!

+Kurama Arctica PvE has raids, strikes, nightfall and a story, rights now PvP has different variations of the same thing, this is something new, and its not your conventional PvP, so you might like it
You literally have a whole game of pve content. All the dlc stories plus all the raids. Pvp has IB and Trials. Come on man.

You should make an event where a tortured taken breaks free of what oryx has done and can control himself but still looks taken and goes through pain and you should fo a linited time quest with him and make a really good connection with him then he dies or something at the end of the quest and he gives you something. because it wasn't meant to be on the game in the first place. this is something brought about by Bungie paying attention to the community and the ideas that they have, rather than something that was predestined to be in the game from the beginning. Please pay attention kid lol
+RedEyesRobotics lol OK buddy, if that's what you want to believe. Here's something funny, if sparrow races weren't suppose to be part of Vanilla Destiny then how come all the sparrows have stats? Weird since according to your logic sparrow racing is a "NEW" concept.
That is a huge assumption people make all the time, but you also have to realize that the stats were probably introduced to depict the difference between common, rare and legendary sparrows as far as speed and maneuverability go (which it does). saying that sparrow racing was always supposed to be apart of the game is an idea we kept bringing up, but that was a point that was never supported by the developers until now. The game never initially proposed that that was going to be there from the start, so there is nothing to truly support that theory other than the leap in judgment we made as gamers.
Also my feedback: please continue with this!!! This is one of the coolest things to come out of Destiny IMO

Lol, at the end when the sparrows are all looking bad ass with flips and stuff you can see the broken parts of a dead sparrow fly over the jump.

Dunno... Just a couple thoughts after a race I did. Thought about and figured why not through it out...
Dear bungie I am a huge fan of destiny this is the game that I have loved since minute one of the project. The concept art the ideas the story. Even if people complain about how the story first was and how it dropped I like how it work I love how you don't what really happened that you had that since of I've been dead for a long time I don't know this but people need me and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to stay alive kind of feel this gets has been my life and I have listened to people in my raid groups online chats strikes you name it I've done it and this is something that should a permanent addition to destiny like trials my friends and I have waited for this. The suits loom amazing the sparrows look even better these are things people are gonna want to keep forever. Which brings me to my next suggestion for instance like sparrow racing people have wanted more put of their starships like space fights like the taken battle against the dreadnaught people want to be aces in the sky. Also probably the more heard trading people want trading but I belive it should be under certain conditions such as an exotic weapon for an exotic weapon of the same class kind of like the system for infusions this would make sure people had the weapons they want but with prices there could also be a deduction in legendary marks this is Richard a number one Dan amongst a million of them asking you to at least consider these an option if anyone agrees my Playstation name is Drakesdouble and no its not the rapper it's the video game

It's awesome how a community as big as Destiny's can make something happen in the game. This is basically happening because of the community. Im fucking hyped! If it's as fun as it looks, I will definitely want to see more of sparrow racing.

bungie please make destiny an MMO-FPS.. where there's a lot of timed events. Make it feel like it's alive. i'm really expecting more of these through 2016 before destiny 2 comes out.
Wouldn't it be cool if we got a weapon sponsor (Suros, Hakke, Omolon, Crux/Lamar, Tex Mechanica, etc.) and earned an exclusive weapon through races?
Man, even though The Taken King left a really bad taste in my mouth as a Day one player, I would've lived to have played this. Still hoping they'll do something like this in Destiny 2, because Destiny finally has its hooks in me and I can't break away.
I love this idea, the next addition to crucible should be dogfights in space and/or high above planets, this would be a fun and unique way in what ships people use or like. Please try to do this as soon as possible, keep up the great work!

Bungie, WE LOVE IT! You guys implemented this game mode well. Next steps: Let sparrow racing return in a fashion similar to Iron Banner where it's an occasional event that appears every month.
Add two more racing modes, perhaps a mode where crashes are penalized with disqualification to make it a real death race. Also maybe a mode where we can use our supers to attack other racers.
Lastly, add two more race tracks and I'd like for the enemies to have more presence. Put some Dregs on pikes and have the pop in on the 3rd lap to shake things up a bit. Thank Bugie can't wait to see the real deal Sparrow Racing League...

I think this is a great idea! I think instead of a 3 week event it could be an actual all year thing like the crucible or PoE and you could get reputation like you do with other factions with Amanda as the 'faction' leader.
Cool but what happened to the cut content from the vanilla base game announcement trailer back in 2014 or 2013? It was a long time ago.
I wanted racing in year one, happy its coming out. Looks fun and hopefully all the gear we collect from it can be used in pve and pvp so it don't turn into collective junk.

Don't know why they removed Sparrow Racing, everyone I've come across since the D1 beta wanted Sparrow racing for so long, and loved it when it was around and wanted it to stay.
I'm looking forward to this, but mostly so I can get new Sparrows. The race looks really good, and the fact that we're going through enemy territory will make it really fun and chaotic.
