D.I.D. Interview! | Answering All Your Questions! (pls read description)

- Recently, a student reached out to us, asking for us to do an interview for their psychology class. I figured we might as well post it here too, since some of you out there might have these questions as well!

When you said there was 105 members of your system you just made me feel soooo validated!!! I have about 80 in my system, plus some, and people have tried telling me that the most alters a person can have is 21. and that's not true obviously. but your videos have been so incredibly helpful to me! thank you
that is obviously not true because there was someone that had 2,500 alters. they became sort of famous I think. someone abused her and all of her alters verified it so the guy was sent to jail or something like that. there probably isn't a limit to what the mind can make. look it up and show everyone who told u that u cant have more than 21 alters and tell me their reaction. XD
I had my psychologist say I can’t have DID because I have way to many alters... I have 36
Wow I struggle with having 10 alters it must be so much harder with so many to keep track of in the inner world
IKR! I’m one of four, and even that’s hard 😂
Legit tho I was explaining our Inner World to the Hosts boyfriend earlier and I realized our System has grown so much throughout the years, we currently have 22 Alters, including myself, nand not including the host, and It's hard for me to keep track of everyone, I have no clue how our Gatekeepers and Inner Helpers keep track of everything in our Inner World-
We have 15 in our system and that's a struggle and our partner system as 250 alters in their system which is a crazy thought to us and that must be hard to manage
I’m in school for psychology and d.i.d. Has always fascinated me and I have dedicated a lot of my free time learning about it. I’m really thankful for channels like yours where I can learn so much and you all are so well spoken and likable. Thank you for going out of your way to give your perspective on this disorder.
I have diagnosed borderline personality disorder, and undiagnosed DID I wish I could just get it diagnosed and feel believed for once.
This is a great insight. I'm an older person recently dx with did.
You mentioned art. Do all your alters do art. If so, do the different alters express different art styles or prefer different mediums? The body is right handed but the artist alter does everything with the left hand. If i change hands, i can't even draw a striaght line. Would you ever do video featuring your art?
We have different eye glasses for different alters. A bit pricey
k j We have a bit of everything! Most of us are artists, some of which are really multimedia, and some prefer to make music or write poetry! We're definitely planning on making a video about alters and art. Almost all of us are right handed, and if we try to draw with the left hand, it looks awful lol

I am an art therapist with did! To be a good art therapist it's great maybe best to be an artist, in my opinion. I was in denial for years because I was afraid of being stigmatized, but that seems normal with this.... I saw my did in my collages... then I could not echnore it anymore. I am on a road to finding out all I can about did.
Omg you're so lucky, we're really low functioning because we're an OSDD-1B system with a low functioning host ahh, most of us struggle so it's kinda ruined school

Your channel is one that I`ve found one of the most informative and that's really cool and I´m really grateful for that because for me DID is one of the most interesting mental health issues and it`s something that is (obviously) very hard to understand as someone who doesn't have it but I'm very intrigued to understand it more.
In this video you answered a lot of questions I've been wondering but I still have a couple if you don't mind.
You shortly mentioned integrating and that it is not your goal but it is possible? How does that work?
Also you said that it is possible for alters to see different reflections in the mirror (or see themselves in the mirror despite what the body looks like), but I've been wondering if it is possible to see what other system`s alters look like?
You should make a video of all of you and acrylics art pwetty pwease i strive for inspiration!
my boyfriend has d.i.d. and i am on the verge of diagnosis of d.i.d. or osdd. i have just recently became aware of switches. he has had d.i.d. his whole life. i am thankful that he is on my life. i currently am aware of 3 and he has 6

In all the alters of the aether system i loved dante a lot but i love the other alters too.
It is so nice to find a system who actually thinks about their viewers. Some of the systems on UA-cam have such bad sound quality that you can not even hear their video's. What's the point of having a channel? I personally think that people who do that, are here just to stroke their ego. Not because they actually want to help someone.
Or maybe they just don't know how? You come off as harsh over just audio quality
You have said many times that there is an original that another broke off of. Do you mean that particular alter broke off from that alter? Or that there is the one original that they all broke off from? I was under the impression that DID is the blockage of the personality fusing into one at a young age thus leaving no singular original but rather several, so the wording of "splitting off" is a little confusing. I know new alters can form later as a result of stress or trauma or a need though Im unsure if it's a new formation altogether or a break off of an alter. Just trying to understand better, thanks in advance!
In our case, the “original” was shattered into Devon, Parsifal, and Xavier (Plus fragments), which other alters then split off of. We had repeated trauma throughout our childhood, so we’ve had many things that caused alters to split off of other alters over time. It’s not just the original that alters can split off of- it can happen to most alters in the system.
Now, this video is pretty old, and I can’t remember what is in it, so I don’t know exactly what Dante said, but yeah, DID is sort of the blockage of the personality fusing, with the blockage being caused by trauma, but it also feels more complex than that. It’s like, the personality is not only kept from fusing, but the parts are pushed to deviate from whatever was there before the split in an act of self-preservation

Hello! I really like your videos 😊 i personally don't have DID, but i would like to learn more about the subject and get more educated. I think it's very fascinating. Also your system is super incredible! The inner world and all the alters i've met through the youtube videos really captured my attention. I was wondering what happens when the body catches a cold or an illness. Are all the alters going to feel the cold? Or is it only one alter who feels it and then if there is a switch, then everything is normal? (like no sickness/illness or something similar to that) i really appreciate the hard work that you all put in your videos ❤️ best regards from Denmark 😊😊
Hey question: I was looking at your video list thing with the pics of you (at least I think they're all you) and the one from your last video doesn't look anything like the one from the video before that, which looks exactly like you in this video. Are they playing out of order?

Have you considered integrating some alters simply to have less to keep track of? With 100 alters you must have a lot of missed time?
LouLou Surprisingly, we don't get a lot of time loss. We have good systems in place, and the old host actively doesn't want to be out, so he's happy about any time loss. I don't think we'll ever integrate though. We see that like a mass death

Acrylic And Aether that makes sense, Thankyou for answering. I guess it’s just so hard for us NTs to get our heads around what it must be like to have 100 people inside our brains. I find this truly fascinating and thank you for making your videos.
Acrylic And Aether it’s the same here. We have around forty alters and because of how the inner world is structured and how many are conscious or who is nearby things are pretty simple compared to others. We also don’t want to integrate because we all love being separate people and we’re also terrified of dying, in a sense.

I have a question should I tell my family a system
Do you have any violent alter, who doesn't like you? You mentioned Percival being one in the beginning (or for an amount of time) but you didn't describe in details. I've seen other people in documentaries who experience threats from their alter. How is your relationship with them?
I would love to talk with you and gain some clarity for myself about myself
