In this video I go over my top 3 meals while on the carnivore diet. These are personal to me, but I thought I'd share to maybe inspire you to come up with some new things. Share what your favorite meals are in the comments! - Навчання та стиль
I’m a trucker and I eat primarily burgers and eggs. I also occasionally have chuck roast in my lunchbox cooker. It takes all day to cook and I have to smell it while driving! It usually turns out very tender!
Such a smart idea! So many truckers live exclusively on gross takeout...
@@hansveen7132 What’s the problem? I’m giving Nick props for cooking a nice chuck roast in the lunchbox cooker instead of buying McDonald’s. 🤔
@@hansveen7132 clearly I do see a difference or I wouldn’t have mentioned it. 🤷🏻♀️ Home cooked is always superior when we want to control the ingredients entering our bodies. I personally love eating out as an occasional treat, but when I’ve had to do it every day due to traveling, I felt sick. I know a lot of unhealthy truckers on unhealthy diets and never heard any of them talk about cooking their own food on the road, so I think this is great. Honestly not sure why you feel the need to leave negative feedback in response to a compliment. It’s so odd and unnecessary.
@@hansveen7132 Guarantee he’s talking about plain burger patties, not fully loaded fast food burgers, so no, it’s not the same. Truckers have options to cook their own food ya know…
thank you for your work. I appreciate you!
I'm new to carnivore eating, and these 3 recipes are terrific! Just the inspiration I need 😄
I always start out making an omelette and always end up with scrambled eggs with stuff in it. Oh well :-)
I line a plate with Pepperoni slices and top it with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and microwave it 5 minutes & then take out and loosen & lift edges with a butter knife to cool, and pull apart to eat. The edges have a browned crispy crunch that I love! It gets rid of my pizza craving and is super easy. It can be changed up by adding pizza spices or mushrooms to the top if you like or even sliced scallions or green peppers on top. *But that's the base of pepperoni & cheese snack.
Smash Burgers - 2 oz balls (12), big cast iron, medium high, drop 3 balls at a time smash, flip at 65-70% cook, mustard, home made mayo and pepper. Yum. I just make 2 stacks of 6 alternating mustard and mayo between patties.
like your open, friendly attitude and recipes
I love wrapping a hardboiled egg (peeled!) in ground burger, then wrapping it in bacon held in place with a toothpick and pan fried. A little pepper and yum awaits you!
Wow what a great idea is this inspired by a scotch egg recipe?
Great idea!!! I’m gonna try that now!!😂
A scotch egg
A2 milk is non Holstein (black/white cows), old heritage cows have closer to human milk, more digestible but not as productive, which is why dairies prefer Holsteins. I just learned what A2 is and thought I'd share😀
I didn't know that, thanks!
I actually learned this today on a field trip to the stock show with my granddaughter 😅
I didntt know that! 😃 How do I find A2 milk?
@@tinalouiseking if you’re in Texas there is one in Decatur
@@tinalouiseking some dairies specialize, not the big ones, we have a couple in BC interior.
I am just this week few days in staring a Carnivora diet. I have been battling illness that I know is from poor life style choices and I want to get back on track. Veggies I was told was my hero al my life but I have found that they are my nemeses. I have always loved meat and I want to find that again. I am new to your channel, I hope to find many more new ideas from you. :)
Perfect timing! Thank you!
New starting carnivore
I Love the snapping and getting to the point! Good videos!!
Omg the 3rd one is amazing! Thank you for this recipe man, very appreciated!
All 3 look delish, Reid! I’m going to have to try all of them. Thanks for the ideas!!
You're very creative and inspiring. Thank you
Thank you for these amazing recipes, they are really appreciated 🌟
Like a few others here, I am also a trucker. I love the simplicity since you are preparing food in your van! Thanks for the great video!
Thanks man for these three ideas I appreciate this.
EGGS! I never get tired of them. I would watch any egg recipe you want to put out. You’re awesome!
I LOVE eggs too, always have! My latest addiction is deviled eggs topped with anchovies….it’s sooo good!!!
A really good way to do boiled eggs that is incredibly easy and delicious is the mash them with a fork in a bowl while their hot, then add butter and lots of it. Bomb.
@@johncrone3612 OOOoooooooo!
I like this vid. My top 3: 1) air fried chicken thighs, seasoned spicy, 2) hamburger steak--just a reg ol' ground beef pattie, but huge, 3) omelet, like yours
Thanks fir the ideas😊
That ground beef and goat cheese looks like stroganoff minus the noodles. Yum. I have some bone broth powder by Paeo Valley that I've been using lately. A scoop of that in any stirred up meat dish helps all the juices thicken up and stick to the meat. I also have some mushroom powder that I was trying as a nootropic that also turned out to be a great thickener. Makes a hearty dark brown sauce out of cooking fat and meat juices.
Excellent ideas Robin!💡I happen to have both of those myself, thank you😁
Right now my favorite thing is burger patties with a mixture of softened butter and yellow mustard on top.
Same. Burger patties but with bacon and red leicester cheese. I've also just discovered brown butter bites. Yum!
Great recipes and looks easy. Thank you for sharing.
thank you, easy, quick and cheap ideas
My favorite is a skillet hash. I cook 3 lbs gr beef in cast iron pan and add a little diced onion and diced zucchini and half cup diced bacon, cook until everything is cooked. Pour off the grease. Season. Heat oven to 400. I make 7 indents in the meat mixture and drop a large egg in each one and it goes into the oven at 400 for 10 minutes until eggs have a skin over the top. Out of the oven, a sprinkle of parmigiana cheese and dinner is served!
What a great idea!!! Definitely making this because having a meal already made and only having to heat it up would be great! Thanks for the instructions!!
This is keto not carnivore…..technically
Onions and zucchini aren't carnivore...
Thanks for the food ideas. A friend and I have been working out together to keep each other motivated and we have thought about trying the carnivore diet.
Thank you for your recipies, great video!!
Thank you for sharing! Bless you!❤️👍🏻🙏🌲
My latest favorite is stew meat cook in ghee, crisp edges and
Dipped in sour cream. Simple/delicious
That sounds lovely 😊
Isn't that tough as shoe leather? Usually stew meat needs to be braised for a couple of hours to get tender.
Yay a carnivore van lifer!!! You’ve given me hope for my future plans. 👍 Thank you. 😊
Thanks for this video - Super helpful! Love the peppers/onions in the omelette!
Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks u make it all look so easy
One of my favorite meal prep for work options was quality ground beef, seasoned spicy, and some cubed pepper jack.
I just subscribed. Quick and easy recepies, also inexpensive. Love it. I'm starting the carnivore diet tomorrow. Thanks for the video.
How wonderful to find a carnivore chef!! Subscribed!!! 🎉🎉
I adore chuck roast as well… just beginning carnivore. Thanx for the ideas!
these are great! TY!
add some quality cheeses to your meat juices, and some butter...you will get a very flavorful gravy, the cheeses make a great thickener to replace flour...tangy, rich, and delicious
Simple! Love that!
How did I ever miss this one? Absolutely love your simple recipes. Some carnivore chefs simply make things way too complicated! Love your great simple recipes. Just wish they were one recipe per video so we can all find them easier.
Thank you for the advice
Thanks for sharing your recipes. One practice I have when making as n omelet is to cover the pan right after pouring the eggs in and because it traps the heat, I never have to flip the omelet. A glass lid will be better.
this is so cool , thank you so much!
Habanero Chili Powder!! I love that "little" extra kick to just about anything. Cream cheese is great with my ground beef too. Deviled eggs using YOUR mayo (cream chz/sour cream) with bacon is another favorite. Thank you so much for your videos!!
Here a favourite of mine and my families. Scotch Eggs. Wrap a hard boil egg in your favourite sausage. Medium Italian sausage from Costco is my go to. One sausage can usually surround an egg. To help keep the sausage together you can add an egg to the mix. Traditionally the Scotch egg is rolled in flour and bread crumbs to give it crispy texture but I've eliminated those for my daughter who is sensitive to bread/flour.
You can deep fry them or bake them in the oven for 25 min at 420F. I've been able to cook the eggs so they are soft in the middle then wrap them in sausage and bake. The centre remains soft when you cut into them. Damn good.
ua-cam.com/video/nwjDoAR1QfY/v-deo.html
Have you tried making your version of scotch eggs in the air fryer? I wonder if that would make the outside of the meat a little crispy?
As always, LOVE your videos!! I love ground beef 80/20 with white cheese-I cannot handle food color- and Redmond salt. I have eaten that 2 to 3 times a day for days on end.
Thanks for the lesson
ground beef bowls aka slop bowls are a staple especially in the winter. ground beef with whatever addins you like.. tonight i had taco seasoning (home blend) cream cheese, bacon, sour cream and cheddar cheese. i also love some good steak and bacon/eggs/burgers. We generally keep it pretty simple cooking everything in a skillet. my wife likes to make cheese stuffed sausage balls. when its not winter we literally grill or bbq every single meal
With ground beef (and ground pork) if you like, you could make tortiere (a meat pie, but without the crust) you could use mushroom powder for thickener. What I love about meat pie are the spices so yummy. And a different taste, helps with variety.
Pork rinds are bomb with taco bowls.
I just stumbled on to your channel. So glad I did! I love how you keep things simple. Definitely gonna try that ground beef goat cheese combo! Keep up the good work! 😋
Awesome bro thank you for sharing im new to carnivore 2weeks in luving it👌
Thanks for sharing. Love the ground beef and goat cheese.
Carnivore waffles are great - ham, egg and cheese, mmmmm
Bought a cheap patty maker for 200g (.44 pound) patties which I then flavour accordingly.
Hoki (fish) fillets lightly crumbed are great as a zero fat option, except for the cooking butter ;)
As a natural supplement, monthly I cook the Arabic Shepard's breakfast using Heart, Liver and Kidneys. Fry down some onions, garlic and herbs to taste throw in the heart, when you turn the heart throw in the liver, when you turn the liver throw in the kidney. When the kidneys done, viola. A pan full of yumminess and the best natural supplement money can buy, forget the pill rubbish, fresh and animal based FTW.
Fun fact - New Zealand is the BEST place to be a carnivore.
1/ All beef in New Zealand is grass fed and grass finished. Some (mad) people pay extra for grain finished :| Beef Factory farming DOES NOT EXIST here because of the superb animal welfare standards !
2/ We have the most coastline per person in the world so the seafood follows suit, massive amounts of yum.
3/ Animal protein is a major export and we're judged to be world class - Particularly the lamb and infant milk powder formulations.
Plus like mad people we walk around barefoot, regularly. Google it, it's a thing men, women, children, we're all nuts.
Cheers for the content.
Great and interesting comment 👍🏻
Stephen Williams...... I knew I loved New Zealand for a reason! Love your lamb, especially!
🎉Cheers for New Zealand! Truth on any beef/protein coming out of NZ~ could not agree more, except we are way overcharged for it here in the U.S.- greedy importers for sure, as I've seen firsthand what THEY paid for it~ errgghh!
*I've been mostly barefoot since childhood, 57 now~ & I'm from the Northwest rainy/cold-ish part of the country. Still prefer it, & my feet actually get itchy & sore from socks or shoes when I do need to wear them. Lace-up soft leather moccasins are a decent compromise however.
Didn’t kiwis eat each others back in the day?
@@dartymcphee6738 I'm down to 1 vegan a week atm :| 🤣🙄😎
Ground meat and goat cheese. GONNA TRY! Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas thanks
I like to have something always ready in fridge, such as, ham salad, chicken salad or egg salad with bacon.
Love the ground beef + goat cheese recipe! Thanks 🙏🏼
Hey I'm a new subscriber and really enjoyed this thank you I found it very interesting and informative 👍🏻
UA-cam's algorithm confuses me ... I am not getting your notifications. So ....
Recipes look AWESOME! Thank you!!
Thank You 👍🏼👍🏼🥰
These look so good! I just discovered your channel and will be subscribing. My favorite right now is a chili pork soup, also called posole in Mexican cooking. Just boil your chunks of pork until tender and add garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper and chili powder!
I’m new to carnivore. Thanks so much!❤
Thanks for sharing your carnivore diet! I like the goat cheese idea
You can make a chuck roast on a single burner in a pressure cooker. It is the only way I do it. It is very tender and the drippings are full of flavor.
Instant pot... Oh yeah. Just an hr. or so
I have to slow cook my chuck roast in a pan after searing sides then turn down the heat. It’s delicious but I can not wait until I have a stove and oven 😂😂😂 all the new cooking options hahs
one of my faves is ground beef and eggs, scrambled, or sunny side up, but usually scrambled. and ribeyes. love ribeyes. thanks for the vid! (ps, I love chuck roast, too!)
A great technique for flipping an omelet is to use a flat lid the size or larger of the skillet and start at one end of the lid upside down and slide the omelet onto the upside down lid as you pull the pan across the lid, the omelet will be sitting on the upside down lid just like it was in the skillet then place the pan on top of the lid upside down and cover the pan then flip it back right side up and BAM the omelet is perfectly flipped over.
all of those looked great! I'm going to have to use the ground beef and goat cheese recipe!
the omelette we did learn at school in my country where i was born, you whisk the white till stiff and slightly mix it in to the mixed yolks , it will give you a elevated omelet and if you cannot flip it put it in the oven for a few minutes to cook , I just cut my omelet in half to flip it less hassel ,
Ok my easy, throw-together meal lately is just a ground beef bowl. Others in the comments have mentioned similar recipes and it seems like you can customize this any way you like. I happen to have a lot of ground beef in the freezer right now so I am using it quite often. I do add minced onion and sliced jalapeno to mine so it's more ketovore than anything. Season with salt and a little chili powder, sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top and you've got one happy boi at dinner! Cheers!
I make a ground beef salad. So good .

Just started eating ground lamb from Aldi with feta cheese, pan fry the lamb add salt pepper garlic and oregano sprinkle feta cheese at the end.
I just came across your channel. I really enjoyed your recipes.
So I haven't tried this. I saw it on another UA-cam chef that I follow, Akis Petretzikis. I'm surprised I've never seen it in the Keto/Carnivore universe. Akis is not either but I still follow my favorite and get ideas how to turn their recipes into a Carnivore recipe.
Steak pizza. He had two thinner chuck eye steaks that he cooked for a couple of minutes each side. Put them on parchment, next to each other. Sprinkled mozzarella. Added uncooked, thinly sliced bacon on top of that. Added more mozzarella.. Then cherry tomatoes (I'd leave those out). Broiled until ready. I CAN'T wait to try it.
I'd love to see your take.
Had goat cheese for the first time about 8 years ago. Like you I fell in love right away. I like to get goat cheese crumbles with dried tomato basil. Aldi's has a good deal on it. Feta is another favorite cheese. I love feta in my omelets. Thanks for your simple ideas. They are good building blocks for newcomers to this lifestyle. They are also great for when you don't have the time or energy to fix something elaborate.
I really wish I liked goat cheese, it just tastes too much like what goats and sheep smell like. I can't get past it. I would have to add it to something that is really strong to hide the taste. Any suggestions?
great! thanks!
I don't freeze my ground beef raw - I cook it in either meatloaf 1 size serving size, just browned to use however I want, etc - then I freeze it in the amounts I would use for recipes. Saves tons of time. I think it would be good to do that with sausage, etc - on your off days to make it way easier to cook on the road. When I cook bacon - I do the same thing - making tons of it at a time then either freeze or at least put in portion sizes.
My favorites change every few months but lately I’ve been eating Italian sausages and bacon. Eggs with cheese and cream cheese, I always have steak a couple times a week cooked in butter or bacon fat.
Good video. Super easy and looks awesome.
Grilled hamberger patties with eggs on top with runny yolks
Thank you.
New sub! Just love your vibe. Trying carnivore/ paleo lately
Legend, keep um coming good recipes bro.
New to the channel, crazy you live in a van. Great content. Thank you.
The ground beef and goat cheese is my new fav which I scramble with eggs in bacon fat.
I have those blue plates and bowls! Also have them in yellow. Gotta love Dollar Tree lol
I really appreciate your recipe ideas! I bought some goat cheese with herbs the other day and not a huge fan....yet. I will definitely try mixing it with warm crumbled hamburger meat tho!
Yes, on the chuck roast!
I hope everyone knows carnivore includes other meats not just beef. Chicken,Fish, rabbit, pork, ostrich, turkey, gator, shellfish. I just a had sardine size can of COD LIVER ABSOLUTELY DELISH! Loaded with omega 3s and calcium.
Excellent!
Thank you for giving me a few ideas.
Suggestions: I use a steel pan to cook my eggs, not in cast iron. I do use cast iron for just about everything else.
Try it, you will love using steel!
I just started a month ago. These are great dishes.
Great carnivore ideas! 👍
My favorite is sauteed chicken livers with a side of assorted cheese. I like to make fresh cheese , yogurt, kiefer and butter from the raw milk I get from our local dairy and add that to some soft boiled eggs from our chickens with bacon, or deer sausage and shredded cheese balls baked in the oven like regular meatballs add egg to bind ingredients. A little pile of any cheese heated into a flat disc then topped with pepperoni, secure with toothpick for a pizza roll-up
Damn, that all sounds awesome, sautéed chicken livers are the bomb for sure.
@@jstar1000 The chicken livers are the main part of my one meal every day. Im recovering from major surgery and my body craves it. I had my cholesterol levels tested yesterday and theyre good
My favorite thing right now is a Soufle omelet. You beat the eggs until they are super foamy (I use a stick blender or a hand mixer for speed), then cook it in the pan with lots of butter. Made one with just goat cheese and ham the other day and it was the bomb. You pretty much cook it until the bottom is crispy, but when you fold it in half the egg inside is pillowy because of the foaminess. It feels like it's not cooked, but it is. I need to get some shaved steak, because that meal looked so good!
Thanks! Goat cheese is on my list for tomorrow!
One VIDEO of such omlett went viral last year. One Indian street vendor got very popular after that.
Cook it on the range the first half then put it in an oven under the broiler on the middle or lower rack with just regular scrambled eggs and it will rise into a soufflé as well.
I'm gonna try that. Bet it would be good with bacon in the middle. I've been carnivore for 6 mo. And love the results. 72 y.o pain free, no meds and have dropped 3 sizes.
@@patriciaalexander9751 it is amazing with diced bacon in the middle. Just had that yesterday along with some goat cheese. 😃
Thanks for you omelette idea. I'm on day 6 on the Carnivore diet and I'm challenging to make food interesting. I found the first week much more difficult than I imagined - bathroom issues, headaches, joint pains, stomach cramps, itchy eyes. I researched and came to the conclusion I am Oxalate dumping. I've decided to ignore the problems and press on as dumpling Oxalates is ultimately good. I think my main source of Oxalates had been almonds.and nuts.
Give yourself time to get fat adapted.
Try Dr Berry utube for tons of help
@@carnivoregal7237 I did continue and after 2 weeks my stomach returned to normal. My appetite is much less and I estimate the 'volume' of food I eat has dropped by 50%. I no longer eat lunch and find I have more energy at work. I used to be drowsy after lunchtime, but no more. The challenge now is friends sabotaging my diet by deliberately serving me carbs and other things they know I don't eat.
@@DestinationTravel Hmm...maybe you could ask them to really, truly be your friend & support you in your seemingly odd way of eating. I realize some do find it odd, others think it's silly or funny~ but our health & well being is none of those things. Neither is sabotage. I love my fellow humans, but let's face it~ they (we) can be serious turds.
*Glad to hear you're past that initial phase~ hope you're feeling awesome, I sure do!😁🥩🍳🧈🥓
That sounds like "die off effect". Probably a yeast overgrowth, candida in your intestines. As they die en mass it overloads the body. Lots of water helps.
If you add some water and cover your cast iron skillet, the steam will help a lot with the sticking.
Oh my! Watching you add the steak to the bacon had me drooling! ❤❤
Oh my heavens, the ground beef and goat cheese dish looks decadently delicious! I am going to have to try that one. Adding goat cheese to my market list for tomorrow. Thanks for the ideas and for sharing. Looking forward to your next video and any new recipe ideas that you have to keep things interesting on our carnivore quest. 🙂
If u have an Aldi store close by it cost $1.99 for that 4.oz log
The way I flip an omelet like the second one you made is just get a lid that fits the skillet or it can even be larger and slide it out onto the lid (start at one end and pull the skillet away as the omlet slides onto the lid then turn the skillet on top of it like the skillet is the lid then flip the whole thing over so the lid is now covering the skillet and omelet and its upright and BAM!
I love goat cheese also, thank you for your tips on making an omelette
I really like ground beef browned until crispy, crumble a few boiled eggs over it, then add cream for some moisture. So good!
