Crazy to think that Eliud Kipchoge runs at a faster pace for twice the distance
Must be the shoes.
For Kipchoge, it‘s aerobic exercise.
@@jesse6845 bruh Kipchoge did beat MO Farah way back in an indoor race before even signing with Nike
@@jesse6845 ad love to see you in the same shoes and see what time you take to run the same
Kipchoge would have jogged this race like a sunday long run.
2:02 *That wheel chair guy oh god hats off to his spirit made me cry* ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I'm very glad to see this. Mo is one of my favorites. He has been struggling recently & I thought he was going to retire. But now I hope he pushes on. I want to see him run something special, hopefully a pb in the London full marathon.
I also ran this today.!! About 50mins off the sir Mo though😅.
Well done mate!
Same here… 1:58:10
Well done that's a great time... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You are a winner mate... congratulations... cheers from Malaysia
Congrats! ❤❤
Once again an impressive performance by Sir Mo, whose main opponent now is surely time itself. The media should stop badgering him about when he's going to retire. I'd love to see him go on indefinitely like the legendary Steve Moneghetti, who's still going strong. Oh, yes, and there are some British and European Masters records up for grabs next year.
Time 1:02:52 H.Szost
Indeed, why should he stop? At every age, there's an opportunity to set a new WR for that age. And the older he gets, the more meaningful those records become.
I went from very little running to running 2 half marathons within a month, training for 4 months both times finished a little more than 2 hrs. How people do it within an hr is amazing.
Many years of training, most of them started really young, participated in a lot of competition. I think u ran pretty good from little to something.
@@CaptureAsia thank you
Very impressive. It's just insane to think kipchoge was faster than that in both splits in his last marathon!😳
Kipchonge definately the goat
Must be the shoes.
@@jesse6845 then why not wear them to run faster than him 🙄
@@jesse6845 Everyones wearing the Alphaflys or Vaporflys Kipchoge is mins ahead of all of them so its not the shoes.
The Way Mo Farah runs is just incredible. Amazing.
I agree with you
Great event really enjoyed yesterday. My target time was around 1:25 and I managed a 1:24.12. Very tough course for anyone thinking about doing it next year, Limehouse tunnel and the cobbled streets on the way back to Tower Bridge were the two toughest sections for me. Well done to everyone who participated.
I hated the cobbles 😄
@@Moochel I think everyone did on the day 😀 the course was a lot tougher than I expected
@B45 I hope your health improves and you can make it someday. Wishing you well 👍🏻
Amazing time! Doing CPH Half this Sunday and my aim is 1.35
@@DeeKay1911 best of luck Dennis I hope it goes well for you 💪🏼💪🏼
It’s crazy how can be so dominant for so long absolutely incredible
Yep, I represented today. Not my best but did okay. Just got back to Leeds. Tea, toast and this. Thanks for uploading
Running my first half marathon in 48 hours in nyc, I'm nervous and excited at the same time
Have sound start the race with MLG HORN ?
I like mo f. De way he runs ,congratulations Mo from California USA
"De way he runs"
- Oh, you mean 'the' way he runs. Got it.
@The Psychologist 🤓
I’m 43..still trying to reach the 1:30:00..hopefully this winter..🙏
That being said..damn Mo looks good,
Mccolgan runs like Conor mantz
Keep getting after it. You got 90min!
Dead easy. Get yahself some blood bags. Testosterone .EPO n some bread and water just like all of um..you'll crack it chief
Im 41, trying to hit sub 1.40.. Started running at 39, never ran a km before then. Pb 10km 43min, 21km 1:43. I'm doing my 1st marathon in October.... sub 1:30 is really good. One can only ever appreciate these times if you yourself run
@@waleedsulaiman651 You'll get there, I managed a 1:37 aged 49, only started running at 46 (I ran 2:15 halfs a few times before putting in some proper HM training) Want a 90 min next!
@@Ultrarunnerdad thats super impressive... Hopefully I will get that sub 1:40 soon... Sub 90, now that will be something....
Such a cool event !!!!!!! just discovered it... I'll be there in 2023 (From paris)
Sir Mo Farah is an incredible athlete. To be 39 and still CRUSHING is so cool.
He is a disgrace
@@winningpost1000 ?
Hussein Abdi Kahin aka Sir Mo Farah , ran a good race.
Bekele, Farah and Kipchoge. 3 gods of distance running.
great...great..great
Congrats from BODOLAND India
Respect to that girl Purdue. So small, has to work so hard to stay at that pace, wow.
Being short = being super light. The taller you are the more weight you have to carry with the same engine inside.
@@natesilvers2166 yeh obviously. Completely not the point. There are plenty of people similar weight who arent 5 foot tall. Regardless of the engine, it's still considerably harder for her to keep up at that level. Speaking as a runner who is 97kg, I am well aware of the impact weight has on running.
@@Gws525 longer legs do not make it easier to run long distance it makes it harder speaking as a 6'4" runner that's why you don't see tall guys winning marathons
@Nate Silvers obvious having a tiny step makes it harder. As does Being 6'4, heavy, and gangly with a bollix awkward stride. Outliers on both sides.
Being tall doesn't mean awkward stride I always get compliments on mine (I started out as a barefoot road runner). Also being short doesnt mean tiny stride Kenesia Bekele has longest distance runner stride and hes very short. It is the difference of weight which makes it harder. Two runners both with en elite BMI of 19 short guy will be 120lb tall guy 155lb that's a lot of extra weight to haul imagine strapping 35lb to the short guys back he's gonna be way slower. You will never see a tall guy win an elite marathon it's the short guys who weigh nothing
What a coincidence that this video lasts the same as Bekele's personal best in marathon
Mo looks really smooth 😎
やはり生ける伝説は何歳になっても強い、、!!

Valencia 6.12.2020
4.76 minutes per mile for 13 miles is insane.
Yeah it’s joocy
great. congratulations. very impressive run done by him👌🙂🚀🏃♂️
Cant Believe to see Nick Bester there too, well done from Adidas!
My respect for cameraman is increasing day by day
Wawoooooo am happy to see my bro running very confatable
Que gran logro y triunfo de Eilis McColgan, teniendo en cuenta que es una atleta que también compite en los 3000, 5000 y 10000 metros.
I think, just by a whisker, the overheard mutterings of the production team on the bike is slightly more interesting than the official commentary..
female commentator's really good i think
(but know what you mean re the bike)
relaxing voices😌
@@GeoAce777 yes, suppose so. But to be honest, I usually turn the commentary down for races. Important to keep your critical faculties sharp by providing your commentary on the stream of unfolding reality..
Lots of best athletics athletes
this Mo is very strong! this is where we see the great champions! in the end: he gives the impression of warming up with the 4 guys and then towards the end, for 800 meters he accelerates to make the hole, then he stays between his 1st breath and 2nd breath, before accelerating again ! but everything is well dosed perfectly, that said good resistance from Rowe and Smith. Mo at the end ... we can see that he still has some under his feet
UK residents actually run throughout the race, unlike us Africans who turn it into a walking race, however much our Extremes are really talented😊
Stop differences WE are all human.
😂😂😂😂not that..... actually saying it out of enjoying the sport
@B45 😂😂😂😂All in the pipeline!!!
@B45...😂😂😂😂.... And my first comment abt was appreciating how everyone there runs !!!!
I wasnt intending to create differences, was just doing an honest comparison... actually I love it wen Western athletes do well in long-distance!!...it breaks the monotony of East Africans winning..this is Sport, fun comparison is a must😊
I like long strides of MO Farah
Every guy looked like they were sprinting while Mo looks like he’s jogging.
Dude i ran 12km in 1h7mi' !!!! That's an insaaaaane pace
While i ran 10km for below hour. Mostly 58 mins.. 😢
I have never seen such big sparkly necklace on a long distance runner. Nice, I'm going to put on my chunky statement necklace for my next marathon.
Congratulation Mo Farah, you're best athlete marathon
Crazy to think that Eliud Kipchoge would still win if Mo join this race after Eliud had already ran 21km
Bom revê-lo Mor farah de volta!!
21km in 61.49 minutes mean 2.92/km 😮
I can't believe 😲 they r not human they r from another planet man 😂😂😂
Besides planes, if I were going to make a case for the "Matrix"...I'd say running 13 miles at a 4:41 pace would be the one that seemed impossible.
3페이스로 하프 한시간이엿구나... 킵쵸 2페이스로 달리다니 거리 두배...강자들이 많다...
hello guys
Excellent race coverage, but needs camera stabilization 🤣
Just imagine running at 25 kmph for an hour straight… bonkers.. most treadmills max out at 20 kmph. Doing even a minute at 20kmph almost breaks the rib cage of an average person like me.. imagine doing that for another 59 minutes or 120 minutes for a full marathon. Nuts !!!!!
Eliud Kipchoge beat them all halfway through his marathon today😮
Yeah that's how crazy fast he went smashing his own record..which meant his 21km during the full marathon is even faster than this race's champion!
respect the men on the wheelchair🫡😊
Mo looks early 30's. Geez! Running is the fountain of youth.
Parabéns pó essa grande transmissão
Anyone here after maharshi movie
16:23 Did Jack Smith just waved at the camera? Very relax & enjoying the race
di awal start aja pacenya dah kenceng njirr...gk kebayang nafasnya kek mana kuatnya itu
My 21 km timing is 125 minutes 😃
Very fast enough
Good on you! Great time
how is the recovery going? My Knee was in bad pain i did it just under 1:27
Pandits ran faster to temples, to collect some advantageous merits from shudras.
Gee, big contrast between the smooth, rhythmic and symmetrical technique of Mo Farah compared to the rather clunky technique of Ailish McCorgan.
That maybe true in certain aspects, but her success at world level suggests it doesn't hinder Eilish too much.
@@keeper4299 Well true, but I wonder how much faster she would be if her technique was more refined? I also think she uses a lot more energy with her swaying arm swings and bouncy stride.
360p still exists? :(
He deserves to win

Mo farahs move: 51:05
at the beginning the commentator said the London marathon was the 2nd October . wrong it was 25th September .
Mo Farah, for Somalia 🇸🇴 forever😅😅😅😅
it must be a life affirming thing just to complete one of these
0:49 Charlotte Perdue looks a bit like Galen Rupp lol
Da fuq 😂
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho!
Proof that with hard work and the right pharmaceuticals you can achieve anything.
Mccolgan has a very interesting running style. To me it seems a little forced but it could just be natural. I feel like if she ran a bit more smoothly she could easily run a faster time.
Where is chris thompson ?! 😭🔥
Anybody have any tips for running? I’m doing a half marathon on Sunday. Thankyou.
So they beat me by like 4 miles. And I think I'm a great runner.
FARAH RUNS LIKE A 5K RUNNER YOU COULD SEE HE WAS GOING TO WIN
Biggest spoiler ever that title … never mind, watching it for the whole battle
Good running 👍
21km in 1hr,that's so challenging achievement.
I can walk 5.5km in 1hr.
You walk pretty fast
4x sub 15min 5k. Monster monster fast
credits to the camera man that recorded this
When you think Kipchoge went through halfway in Berlin in 59mins 51secs .
What a runner
she looks so ungainly but is obviously very good, a very open style of running
Yes she has a very “interesting” running style🤣
I run 4km in 24 minutes 21 in 1 hour is actually insane
C'est vraiment géniale
amazing
I'm currently training for a marathon
강민철 들으면 마라톤 1분안에 완주가능
ELIUD KIPCHOGIE IS THE REAL MARATHON CHAMPION IN THE EARTH PLANET.
Sir...this is a wendy's
Is he have over 17 gold medals?
Why is it that in the Copenhagen Half, the first fifteen made a sub 60min?
Уверен, Наш Никитин его (МО) бы обыграл в этой гонке🇷🇺✌
He won because, they put him ahead form the crowd in beginning otherwise he can't
Runs in Coamo ( 21 km )Puerto Rico ,
these times seem so slow. why is are they so slow? I would expect under 1hr ez
Great to see Mo win hope he is clean. Say no to drugs
Владимир Никитин в этот же день взял за 61мин.29 сек
he is mo city🏁
