    I've seen a few people doing squats on their side like that. What's the advantage to that vs lying on your back? I usually do the single leg squats in more of a pistol squat style.
    Also, those leg curls are an underrated exercise. Pure leg torture. I have a real love/hate thing going on with them.

      Side lying I feel it more in outer hip and thigh and glutes. You can also turn out at the hip (toe pointing toward upper corner of squat stand) and feel it more in the inner thigh.
