I love the fact that you guys seems so calm, serene and comfortable with one another. Scarlet seems to always be smiling with her eyes. You can truly see that she is content with everything. I’ve also noticed that Seth cooks, feeds the cats and edits the videos, whilst scarlet cleans and drives the van. You guys complement and cooperate with each other so well. The harmony is incredible. Durring the Vancouver Olympics, all the hotels were full( and $1000 a night), so we slept in the back of my explorer in a parking garage over looking the river. We were never caught and saved thousands on that trip. It was so much fun.

Cats bite not because she hates you. She probably needs something like food, water, go to the bathroom or just a cuddle/pet session or wants to play. For which she's been trying to tell you but you don't seem to notice or understand. Hence a little bit of a bite to get your attention.

I am so excited you guys are in my home town! You should TRY to go to North Vancouver and go up Grouse Mountain - Horseshoe bay - catch the ferry to Vancouver Island to Tofino - and WHISTLER and just north of there! Head inland into Kelowna - oh so excited!! You are there! It’s sooooo beautiful there - there is a beautiful campground on the way up to whistler on the sea to sky highway- and Vancouver is FILLED with Vegans!
We actually came here from Tofino! It’s been amazing to be around there area. 😊 So far we have absolutely loved Canada! We spent a few days in Squamish a few weeks ago as well!
Walmarts around Vancouver don’t allow overnight. I had that same issue my first time skipping a hotel or friends/family. Found that out the hard way. Thankfully there’s other safe, free spots but you gotta know the city a bit to find them
Yeah we had some friends recommend a few spots that were probably quieter but it was fun to stay right down town!

It would have been wonderful to have stayed on the island and driven to Victoria. From downtown Victoria you can take the Coho ferry to Port Angeles, Wa and from there down the Pacific Coast. Great scenery and great weather.
We actually did drive down there and stay for a couple days!

Vancouver is a beautiful city, and I can tell it's convenient for you, but I can think of much better places to spend the night.
Of course! This isn’t very practical and we wouldn’t do this long term. It’s always fun to camp this far down town for a night though! 😊

We actually adapted a boat hatch to fit the van! It’s much lower profile and opens all the way so you can get out (like in this video) without exiting the vehicle!

I wonder if you could get a few potential spots from Vancity Vanlife. That’s his old hood.
We were only in the city for a night and wanted to camp down town! I don’t think most people who actually live in the city will stay downtown regularly because of the noise. It was loud but fun either way!
Do you have any advice for a young couple looking to move to Canada and rent a van to live in for a month? How would we get started?
You should do it! Find a rental company that looks good somewhere where you’d like to start your trip. We did Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and then went over to Revelstoke, Squamish & Vancouver and Vancouver Island! All of which were amazing and relatively close to one another.
Super cool, living with intelligence. But watch out for parking fees. In Ireland it is awful
What do you two do for work?
We do several things (maybe we’ll make a video about it). But we built vans for a while so we do consultation calls about that and patreon where we post about DIY building tips and tricks. We also do some freelance video editing work for companies & other creators on UA-cam. We are trying to turn UA-cam and Instagram into some streams of revenue as well! 😊 Thanks for watching.

I started watching you guys because you had tortoiseshell cats if you can believe it😂 i’ve stayed because I enjoy you both.
My mom had a tortoiseshell cat I had a tortoiseshell cat and now my daughter has an eight month old tort, yesterday they could not find her and my daughter works from home so it’s not like she would even get out so my daughter was panicking 45 minutes later they had figured out she dug a hole underneath the box spring got up in there and couldn’t get back out so they had to cut open the underneath of the frame to get her out. Haha oh having a kitten, i’m not sure how you do it in such a tiny place specially when they start running a amok like they have a wild hair up their ass. I’ll kidding aside I admire what you both are doing, I think it is just so cool.

That’s one of the things we do for work yes! We also do remote video editing, consultations for builds (we built vans for 3 years) and a few other things!
There is no such thing as stealth camping in Vancouver. It's kind of unfortunate that it has become such a contentious issue there. When Vancouverites see a van, they just assumed that someone is living in it. People get their legit work vans and RVs they own towed from in front of their houses!
Yeah we stayed downtown since no one who long term parks typically does that.

They’re so fun to hold though haha. It’s actually usually because we are pretty shy about filming in public so we hold it very close so we don’t have to talk loud. 😂

I don’t think their cat is happy being locked up in a car a lot by herself. You two would just fine without her.
When I was a kid the hot trends were living in mansions and going on vacations three times a year with boats jet skis and summer homes.
The boomers sure had it real hard... Invested in a property for 20 grand and the property swelled in value to multi million dollar figures.
Really... Really... Really... Hard life for that generation 😂. You could work for a week and retire. Now you guys are forced to work 100+ hrs a week to barely make ends meet... And live in a van with little actual hope of actually retiring 😂.
Enjoy slavery. Our anxestors gave the world freedom so we could trade it in to live in a van in the side of the street...
