    Running the 5700 at about 1950mhz is the sweet spot for practical use. Higher frequency will give you gains and benchmarks but it doesn't really translate over to real world performance. From there just drop the voltage until you get it nice and stable. quick note on frequency though, you have to set the target 50 to 80 megahertz higher than you actually wanted to run so 2 GHz as Target frequency will get you in The Sweet Spot.

    Just a thought on the Noise charts. Because of the way DB is logarithmic in it's measurement, it might be good to graph that in that nature (not linearly) , ie. 42dbA being half the volume of 52dba.
    I can already see this being difficult when applying this to a large spread of data, but, if it could be made it would really help accent the difference in noise. Especially with cpu/ AIO coolers, where noise is often the deciding factor when you make a decision on a purchase.

    • @koalitaDormilona
      @koalitaDormilona 4 роки тому

      @@eduardosaborio8239 Ummm no it wouldn't?
      From 65 °C to 73 °C, Celsius percentage change is 8/65 × 100%, kelvin percentage change is 8/(65 + 273.15) × 100%, which are clearly not equal

    • @eduardosaborio8239
      @eduardosaborio8239 4 роки тому

      Sorry, my bad. But adding the offset and calculating the % increase will give you a stupidly small value (2.59%). In this case (comparing GPUs' temperature, in which normally is always above 0°C) its better to illustrate the temperature difference using an arbitrary scale (°C) than using the absolute scale (K).
      Again, sorry for the earlier mistake

      @DirtyPoul 4 роки тому

      @@eduardosaborio8239 Yes, it's better to explain the difference using the scale that is most often used, but not in regards to percentages because it simply makes it nonsensical. It's as bad as saying that 100 dB is twice as loud as 50 dB.

    Well, perhaps I’m just getting old (lol), but I think it would make more sense to just pay the few extra dollars and get the XT variant. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the effort, risk or headache. Although I am Ryzen user now, I didn’t buy a Radeon card this time around. At the time I was buying components, E-Tailers were trying to “flush” the older RTX cards from their inventory and I was able to pick up an older MSI 2070 at a great price. Low thermals and noise combined the 3900X equals GREAT PERFORMANCE. I’m one “happy camper”.
