The more I learn about dismissive avoidant behavior and their lack of empathy for the pain they put you through the less tolerance I have for them. You want somebody that’s going to want to talk to you and show up in the relationship. If you’ve treated that person poorly I can understand having a level of regret and wanting to try again. But if you’re talking about a real dismissive avoidant who let’s you bleed all over while they have very little empathy during no contact, i’m starting to think twice about this whole process. Good to work on yourself and maybe just cut ties and never look back. Not always easy when you have attached and care about them. That’s why they come on strong from the beginning to make sure they hook you. But if they’re willing to let you bleed for months on end I don’t think I want any part of that anymore. This is not a fair balance.

My ex of 1 year broke up with me 2 weeks ago and I’ve implemented no contact ever since, he says he needs to focus on his career and doesn’t want a girlfriend right now. 410 days of No Contact. My ex is not coming back. I'm at the point where I don't want her back either because I feel I've outgrown her and the ugliness of the breakup will always linger.
I've done therapy for a year and counting since the breakup to work on my Fearful Avoidant attachment style but I believe she's a mixture of Anxious Preoccupied & Fearful Avoidant herself.

Good video, as always lol. Once again, I am in no contact. My Stubborn, Avoidant ex...that is just who he is and how I have discovered him to be the past 3 years lol...the difference this time? I am Confident and Secure, I used to be the Anxious attachment style type. This channel helped me over time, which changed my relationship attachment type from Anxious to Secure attachment style. The confidence was from within through doing no contact and working on myself the previous times. Doesnt exempt me from feeling feelings, it is just now how I deal with it has evolved. Still, just ashame that we have to go no contact at any point. But here we go again! Day 1.

I wouldn't say my ex is stubborn per se... Just very avoidant and introverted. After 6 months of dating, he said he felt overwhelmed by the commitment. We talked about patching things up, but then he preceeded to ghost me and unfollow/block me on all channels. I don't think I even want him back after this experience. Could you maybe consider making a video on how to cope with a quiet painful situation like that? It would probably help out a lot of people in similar situations:)

My girlfriend is stubborn and disrespectful but she didn't tell me that she's done with our relationship with so I decided to go on no contact just to regain my respect. I stopped reaching out to her. Her birthday was yesterday but I didn't wish her a happy birthday. I may have pushed him deeper into stubbornness because I acted needy and desperate after the breakup especially after I found out he rebounded with our mutual acquaintance. 2 months since the breakup and only 5 days of NC.
Keep the no contact. I did all that and it took a long time for him to reach out but he did. And he keeps reaching out. When he feels like I’m pulling away he reaches out. It took months but it works. It’s a slow process though but he will reach out. You have to be strong.

I believe that men cannot and will not be alone. Never. Women we can abstain longer. As we wait for them to unblock you or keep you hanging you have to know they probably have made other connections that they are trying to grow but they’re not sure. So, she has already started dating someone else. Look, this is my ex-wife, we started hanging out again after 20 years of being apart. We spent most of April-June together and I was very clear I didn't want to be just friends. Anyhow, she has always had a lot of male orbitors which is very uncomfortable for me. We had plans to spend my birthday together along with her kids from her 2nd marriage. I had to run to my mom's to see her for a little while and when I got back she was leaving with her "best guy friend" to go bike riding with the girls and his kids. She left a group chat including her friends that was basically the only way she could get to my number, we never talked in it any way. You can log in through a phone no problem. Watching the cartoons, downloading to the audio affirmations, or watching the videos should be easy.
Each of the 10 sections has a PDF that you can download to your device as you go, and fill in the answers on the PDF. I haven’t had anyone say they have any issues using a phone
@@medalxx12 The creative healing course is like an online course. All relevant videos, pdf files, and audio files can be downloaded and accessed on your iphone.
I personally have used the phone to watch the videos and play the audio files, but I have yet to try filling in the answers on the downloaded pdf (personally prefer to have that on the pc). But it should be fine.
You might want to have paper on the side at the very least to do the creative portions of the course.

I've been busy reconnecting with myself and my friends, improving my life in many different aspects, but I still take the time to catch every single one of your videos and progress slowly through the creative healing course.
Every video, activity, and worksheet in the course feels like a little nugget of gold at the entrance of a gold mine. I really enjoy spending small pockets of time over the course of the week just thinking about and reflecting on what is being thought. Honestly, I'm enjoying the course so much that I'm worried that I'll run out of material before you can produce more! So I'm really taking my time working through the activities, and practicing the skills in real life to make sure that they really sink in.
