Hi. I cant describe how I feel right now. Long story short, I live in United Kingdom and I've been suffering from basically same thing. I see alot of floaters aswell as bluefield entoptic phenomenon I also see things sort of like trought the film(closest explanation would be "like dust in the air"). I've been seing doctors for over 3 years and all I've been told was "your eyes are perfectly fine". I know exactly how you feel... I have a girlfriend and she is always pushing me to go out, travel, walk etc., but I find everything to do with basic lifestyle imposible due to what I see in my vision field. I tought its only me who is seeing all of it. I feel really sorry for you and I hope there is possible treatment for it. I force my self to do normal things as if I was okay, its hard..but I starting to feel better about it. Thank you

I'm Brazilian and apparently I also have visual snow. Well, during the day I usually see it like TV static, but at a lower intensity, it's practically imperceptible during the day, I see the "pixels" along with the floaters when looking at the very clear sky, I even see the snow better when I look at the sky. And at night, when I'm in the dark, I see the pixels pass through my vision and if I stare at an object, my vision starts to darken. It's good to know that I'm not the only one, it's very rare to find this type of content, especially when searching in my language.

I have had visual snow since childhood, I always saw ripples, interference, sometimes I noticed a glow around objects, like a kind of aura, especially if the objects differ in contrast. Once in childhood I told someone about this, no one in the family understood what I was talking about))
After experiencing terrible stress, the symptoms intensified: more noticeable palinopsia appeared, as in the video, there are transient spots floating before the eyes, flashes before the eyes are random. I still can’t get used to it, but I think if I work through the nervous shock, then my visual snow will cause me less discomfort)
Good thing I stumbled upon this channel and the community. Knowing that you are not alone and that people can live with it gives strength)))

I think it's all because of anxiety, overthinking nd stress related issues... SAME! I developed paranoia for awhile and its weird you can’t barely tell your peripherals are being effected. It took awhile for me to notice I can’t see whatsin my peripheral it’s like I see it but my brain doesnt process what it is and doesn’t fill in the detail so a coat rack looks like a person standing there. It came RIGHT after we had our first baby and I worked manual labor full time in big empty houses so for over a year I would freak out and have panic attacks at work cause I felt like I was being watched. I couldnt turn on loud equipment without looking around and checking my surroundings the whole time cause I guess since my vision was worse I relied on my ears and once there was no information coming in from my ears either it put my brain in panic mode. Ive gotten way better managing sympotoms but when it first happens it can be quite a scare.

For about 1 year I have been experiencing all these symptoms which suddenly appeared in my life. As it was just in the phase of floating objects I went to the optometrist and she told me " not to worry, I should just keep wearing my glasses". Since that time things was getting worse and that's how gradually all these static visual symptoms started to amplify and I didn't know exactly what was happening to my eyes. I was questioning the whole time whether if my visual system were degenerating itself from the inside or it's just stress, fortunately yesterday I came across a comment in a forum in which somebody else described exactly the same symptoms known as visual snow and that's how I felt a bit relieved knowing what I am suffering of. Hi! 🤍 Some people share that their life is negatively impacted by VSS and others say their snow doesn’t affect them negatively and they are just used to it. It depends on your personal experience & perspective. Everyone’s VSS is different, so it also depends on your health history, lifestyle, & unique set of symptoms. Some people share that they still enjoy life despite VSS and some have a positive outlook/embrace how they see the world. There are people whose livelihood, work, art, and character are shaped by VSS. It’s unique to each person. And all these different feelings on it are valid 🫶

@@yvettezilla it's actually quite strange that alot of people got it during there early lives🤔 now that I discovered this am worrying I don't have it but what if it happens to me???? I would literally just give up at life I had tinnitus all sorts of these scary things tinnitus was the worse it left after 2 days so I was lucky but now if I was to have this I would just end my life like literally I suffered alot of stuff in 2022 I gotten used to them and half of them left but this one seems to me like it's gonna be the worst if I have it the main reason I am scared of this is because I see people commenting that they can't sleep they see this in night now I can deal with these types of things but when they get into my sleep life I just wouldn't be able to take it sorry for also writing a long ease.

Visual snow? Check! Impaired vision in the dark? Check! Floaters? Check! Stronger afterimages? Check! Strange lighty artifacts? Check, but are not that common! Plus very slight palinopsia (I think). Plus rarely migraines with aura (scotoma) 😰

Look on the bright side! When you close your eyes at night, there's a light show, an increase in visual memory with afterimages. Lastly, sometimes I associate this disease with space and the universe. Stars and the big bang, it's funny, but it reminds me of that. Maybe we're in the matrix universe, and there's a problem with our perception cables, what do you think? :D

Frankly I’m not sure if I have it. There’s nothing unusual in my vision, except for if I focus (easier to see in dark) there’s many many infinitesimally small dots. Not to mention my eyes getting ‘stained’ temporarily with a blurry dark spot if I look directly at bright lights. I am unsure if this is normal or not.
