First, to stop the chemical warfare that the globalists are waging on humanity by spraying "snow" from airplanes. You can see them as giant white trails and crosses in the sky. Weapons are also FIVEgee devices, chemical food, drugs, injections...If you want to live find information from Celeste Solum, Deborah Tavares, RFB...No it's not a theory.

When I move my right eye from the left to the right, a blur moves across any light source in the room from right to left, only affects one eye, doesn't happen when I move my eye from right to left. Baffled as to what it could be.

I've had visual snow for as long as I can remember. Quite literally, some of the earliest memories I have are me trying to sleep at night as a little kid and watching my visual snow fuzz around in the dark. I didn't realize it was something everyone has until a couple of years ago, and when I mentioned it to my eye doctor she had no clue what I was talking about!

Same for me, I tried to tell my mom about seeing sparkles as I called it then, But as a child it sounded like my imagination. I grew up thinking everyone sees the world like this, then I stumbled on VSS as a diagnoses. 41 years Ive been with it.

There's no way everyone has it, absolutely not. It's classified as a rare defect only impacted around 2% of the population.
Visual snow is significantly worse than eye floaters, yet you only hear complaints about eye floaters. You cant even close your eyes without seeing lights and rarely other colors streaking vision.
I'd argue even minor snow is rare, which still causes vision to look like a high noise video on a low quality camera. If people are really claiming to all have visual snow than call them a wanna be victim and that they dont have visual snow, but are a snowflake themselve.
It's beyond frustrating that before 2019 there was hardly any info on this condition, yet floaters are as common as tinnitus, and people act like they've known all along... bsbsbsbs complete bs

Because the problem start with your brain so what you can only do is sleep 7-9 hours force your brain to recover and exercise regularly i used to have very bad tinitus and 10 visual symptoms now i have only 2 and my tinitus have drop from 100% to 30% the reason doctors say(which my doctor told me ) its not curable because most people cant sleep 8-9 hours and exercise everyday and have little stress but if you could you become like me so what you need to pay is 50k of gym equipment eat great food and sleep well for me it took only 2 years for all of those to be better now i only see visual statistic only when i force my self to not sleep

I have had tinnitus and VSS for approximately 10 years (that I remember, maybe longer). The reality is that going to the doctor has always been a frustration for me. I feel like I have never been given effective answers to my problems. Another great frustration is that, no matter how much you explain what you feel, not even your loved ones understand what you are going through and after a while they forget that you have any problem, or they do not believe that it is so serious... I feel that what we are experiencing is an internal struggle, only ours. It is important to stay focused and live day to day. I feel that exercise and therapy help a lot with these problems.
I appreciate that there are channels like yours that focus on these types of problems. It makes me feel less alone knowing that there are others experiencing the same thing and that we are all fighting to feel a little better every day.

At first I believed it would be a temporary issue, but as the months past, I've learned that it may be forever. like you doctors have been largely useless to me. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me and simply prescribed sertraline, a medication that I had been on in the past and never really worked. it truly is an internal struggle that needs much more study.

I have tinnitus, words and patterns shake, and difficulty seeing people’s faces or things in the dark because of the static. My vision is 20/20 but this definitely causes issues with being able to see things depending on how much light is there. I always have to have my phone on a higher brightness or I can’t see anything.
If I stare at something for too long, I see a halo or outline of it later on. I also see halos or the outline of certain objects based on light and how it’s affecting an object.
I spoke with my neurologist and they said I just have migraine with aura but now I know what I have and it’s such a relief.

  • @Sjdijdhshsjshe
    @Sjdijdhshsjshe 4 місяці тому +9

I really want people to understand that when doctor say its not curable doesn’t mean its permanent but you cant be in that kind of life style thats fix this problem. For me luckily i found a heath tech start-up that paved way for me to meet doctor who’s specialists in VSS and we agree that it could be curable if you sleep 9 hours a day have perfect body health and 0 stress then your VSS will start to go away since your brain have plasticity ability to fix it self (this only worked if you are not born with VSS) the reason its curable is because your not suppose to have VSS but because your lifestyle sucks your brain f**k up so dont lose hope i use to have like 10 visual symptoms and now i have only 2 since i start my lifestyle changes (which is very hard) for 2 years
    So its curable technically

I second to that, lifestyle does play a big role in VSS. Prolonged screen times used to worsened my VSS a lot for a long time as well! (Cant help it, can't do my assessments without a laptop). After changing my lifestyle to a healthier one the VSS symptoms gradually got better. Well, it wasn't "cured" but it definitely became less bothersome.

Best way I can describe it would be telling someone that you can be in a completely unlit room with zero light source and your eyes closed; yet can still see it flickering away like an old TV set or overly exposed video. I do occasionally get floaters and also BFEP on bright summer days when looking up at the blue sky(little swirly dots on the blue areas)

In my experience I find that having VSS is very mental. I randomly developed VSS back in 2017 and since then regularly go through periods of what I call "flare ups" where 1 or many of symptoms suddenly worsen. Whenever I'm in a flare up I experience feelings of anxiety and depression where I cannot look past my symptoms. Everyday is a game of waking up and fixating on my visual disturbances, it's a terrible time. I feel worried and doomed.
However, despite the symptoms and feelings during this time, I seem to always find my way back to "normal" and the intensity, severity and dismal feelings go away. The symptoms don't necessarily disappear (I wish) but they simmer down and I'm once again able to look past them. I don't have a cure, medicine or treatment, I just kinda learned to work through them.
What helps me work through my flare ups is practicing a "healthy lifestyle". e.g. exercise, avoiding processed food, meditating, and socialize with friends. I learned with VSS that taking care of my physical and mental can help ease the impact of the symptoms.
This has been my experience and take on VSS. I am aware that VSS is not the same for everyone but I hope that sharing my experience can help others. VSS is tough and weird and random, but I'm glad I'm not alone.

I think most visual problems are related to stress. Maybe we send tension to our eyes somehow. I have visual snow, and that came with Tinnitus, Floaters and other "gifts" and all this seem worse when I'm anxious. So the best thing for me is going out, spend time with friends, have fun and forget about thinking on this issues. Because even if they don't allow me to do certain things, all people around me don't notice anything wrong and that helps me to not think about it. So, just relax and enjoy everything you can do.

I have pretty severe visual snow. Even though it's severe, I'm pretty used to it because I've had it my entire life.
In fact, it wasn't until relatively recently that I knew that it was not the norm.
I've been to the optometrist but they didn't know what the heck I was talking about.
I've recently (past 10 years) developed what I call my 'strange dot'. It is a dime sized green circle which has an inner red ring. Within the red ring is what can only be described as several dots chasing their tail, laid out in a circular pattern. These all rotate around an inner dark dot. At the center of this dark dot is a permanent and fixed 'star'. Think of the light flurries you see in your visual snow, but static instead of flying off everywhere. It's very light and only really noticeable in dim light conditions and against neutral backgrounds. This 'strange dot' occurs right in the center of my vision. If I focus on it, the outer rings and dots fade away and I see only the inner most 'star'.

@@Diadras Not particularly. I've gone to the optometrist and neurologist and apart from an astigmatism in my left eye, no abnormalities were found. I've had visual snow, literally, all my life so that doesn't bother me, and the 'strange dot' is only noticeable in dim light and even then, is fairly faint. I just figure it's an evolution of the visual snow phenomenon as I get older.
It's gotten slightly larger over the past 2 years, but every 6 months or so, I follow up with my doctor, and everything appears to be healthy and happy.

I have a blind spot in my left eye that is about 0.5 cm in diameter and slightly out of my center view. If I read a sentence I can see it blocking individual letters 4 sentences above.
Ever since I have this blind-spot I started noticing all kinds of stuff with my vision like not 100% seeing faces and have gotten quite anxious about it, sometimes even getting full-blown panic attacks.
I have an appointment scheduled with an eye doctor but I am expecting a "All is healthy, nothing we can do about it" response because the optometrist says I am healthy.
I am wish I could be so calm about it as you because for some reason I am so scared of becoming blind or missing parts of my vision.

Solution for eye floaters- fast! eye floaters are floating proteins in the eye that are no longer used. Fasting(72hrs every about 2 weeks) will induce autophagy which grabs those unused proteins OUT of your eyes and recycles them for uses in the other organs. Not for certain going to fix it but repeat fasting(72hr is best) will help and certaintly fix other issues you may have.

I never knew how to describe what I've been seeing...I tried to describe it to my optometrist years ago before but he just brushed it off. I've always called it black dust or static and I thought it was "normal". Mine is a mild as well, I don't notice it until I zone out or I'm looking far away. Yes it effects everyday life. It's a mental battle. But I got to the point to where I can live with it. If you get good at ignoring it over time you'll feel somewhat better. And so I thought I had beat it until I tried some THC gummies and it triggered it to comeback like it did when I was 17. So now I just avoid anything that can effect me in those ways and try to live a healthier life. Don't give up. Your still alive and breathing. I've had visual snow my whole life and dont really know any different, I only found out it wasnt normal to see what I describe as a mild 'noise' or 'static overlay' a few years ago. I remember I used have an awful time sleeping as a kid because the visual disturbances were worse at night when there was less visual information being recieved so it can conjure shapes, with an overactive imagination it was easy to jump to the conclusion that I was seeing ghosts or there was a monster in my room. I used to think I could see atoms or something haha! Interestingly my Mum also has the same condition!

Nope, not as far as I'm concerned, never had any other ailments partnered with it though maybe if you suffer from headaches/tinnitus or even Vestibular Migraine it maybe wise to check it out anyways as that's what my Mum has. I often get asked when I have the opticians check up if I suffer from either of these. At one point they wanted to check me for glaucoma but it came back clear and tried to explain to them about VSS as there seems to be a bit of a link there, not sure what they're picking up on but my vision is still considered really good despite this. Honestly if it doesn't drastically effect day to day life, Its not a problem to me at all!! I know people's severity with vvs varies so I can't speak to all who have this. For me, I don't know any other way. Its like a thing that I'm aware is always there, but its easy to phase out and I work as a vitreous enameller which is super small scale work, never effected my visual efficacy whatsoever ☺ I hope this puts your mind at ease!
Edit: I'm not sure if this helps but both my Mum and myself are quite sensitive to bright lights/screens ect, I think that's something that can be linked with VSS Again, it's no cause for concern, just means we have to use blue light filters alot more often on screens ☺

I have this visual snow, not offcially diagnosed (there is no point in that). I'm pretty sure that for me it's linked to my dopamine/serotine/endorfine system as it makes so much sense to me. The periods I have in which I notice my visual snow is away seem to have things in common: I feel better, I'm breathing slower, I'm relaxed, my mind is calm. It's a total shift in attention, al be it very hard to describe this in words.
It's as if the operator in me shifts it's attention from listening to my thoughts to listening to the body. Senses like smell and taste improve too and I could hear my neighbours mumble through the walls, whilst normally - when everything around me is quiet - I will hear tinnitus. I also have less urge to smoke as reflexes like coughing kick in again. Also I naturally take more time to enjoy food, chew better which directly results in having benefits to my digestive system. I believe it's all linked for me, to bad at one point I lost that attention again, probably due to work asking a lot from me and me not taking enough time to calm down after and sleep well, so I fell to old habbits again.
Last month I decide I had to try and quit my job as a truck driver and I'm applying for work in a cleanroom, this may help me quit that bad habbit of smoking for good and it may be easier to take more time taking care of myself due to having schedules and proper breaks. I think this is the best shot I have as an attempt to get back to those periods I feel good and seem to have less (mental)health issues.
If anyone reads this in a year or so, feel free to ask for an update.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what this therapy can do. It can reduce specific visual and auditory disturbances (e.g. visual snow, palinopsia, tinnitus), general perceptive issues (e.g. convergence insufficiency, derealization, brain fog), and generally improve mood and productivity. VSS is a benign perceptive disorder and it's fairly reductive to say "I want this therapy to make X visual symptom go away" because the symptom isn't the problem so much as our relationship to it is. We're looking for a 100% reduction of symptoms when in fact a 30-50% reduction could still be life changing - but a 90% reduction of specific symptoms can and does happen.

I have visual snow that abruptly developed a couple of years ago. For the most part it doesn’t bother me too much. I see it the worst on certain fabrics like the carpet on my cat tree, almost looks like it is crawling with something super tiny.
It also really bothers me on low quality screens. My work computer screens are awful and I tend to see halos around words. iPhone screen is better.
Not sure how much value I would find in this, but if it didn’t cost so much I would be tempted to try anyway because I do have other vision issues piled on top of the visual snow and as a whole they can be exhausting to deal with some days.

Hi I'm 32. I have a story about what I been through and what's going on now. When I was 5 I started showing vision issues . From distance blindness to night blindness. It got worse over the years. I've been to multiple eye doctors and opthamologist. They all say something different. It's bests, stargsrdrs, rp, Rd. And I've always had twinkling neon lines spinners. Mainly if my breathing would change or I get startled everything goes black and I black out. Also have stigmatisms and rare cataract suddenly. When I was a teenager I was taking medicines and birth control and I lost my center vision. Been taking medicines and birth control for years and it got worse. (I don't take those anymore) I am blind. Blind spots are worse now in peripheral vision is worse. I have color blindness. I can't tell colors apart anymore. Randomly everything goes dark or red. Or blue. Flashes were so bright it hurts. Everyday it gets worse. I'm 32 now and in 2020 I was taking a very intense birth control and vision static is worse constant now. So bright and bad it's hard to see. I never goes away. From neon lights , flashes to static. High pressure is going up in my eyes from 16 to 20 in a years. Rare cataracts formed in a year. And I'm pursuing brain tests and other things. Has anyone thought this could be symptoms of idiopathic inocranial hypertension?. Build up an extra brain fluid pressure on the eyes. This year is extremely worse and head pain and pressure. Nov 29 2023 I was taken in the ambulance to the hospital due to brain pressure. My sister had IIH and she was going blind and lost her peripheral vision and was seeing vision snow. But was due to neck injury she's better now and healed and it's gone. Even though she doesn't have the same mystery eye disease I do. Not sure if my blindness is due to brain pressure.
Also my optic nerves are flat. PLEASE research eye pressure. Brain fluid pressure. I need help.

Only options seems to be a type of laser surgery that could create many smaller floaters or a surgery removing the clear liquid within the eye and replacing it, which can exacerbate glaucoma.

    Hi Doctor Alan,
Thanks for making a video of visual snow syndrome.
I am 57 years old and live in the UK my Doctor & my Opticians wont take me seriously, regarding this condition.
For about 3 months my vision has rapidly been deteriorating.
The visual snow makes it really hard for me to drive in the dark.
All I can see is orange white or blue spots in my eyes while trying to drive in the dark.
My doctor & my Opticians think just because I can see the 3rd line from bottom on the eye chart, that Iam perfectly safe to drive.
Problem is bright lights from headlights affect me like a camera flash that takes many minutes to clear from my vision.
Often i have to pull over in a safe location for the condition to pass.
I have also noticed this while watching tv , bright white screens affecting my vision like a memory affect on the eyes.
I am also getting a pain at the rear top left of my head when I have these episodes. I put this down to stress like a brain fog that makes me feel like I have dementia. Often I can't think of close family members names.
Only difference is when the brain fog clears slightly. I can remember names clearly.
I have x2 pairs of reading glasses x1 for reading books and the other for computer work.
The reason I had x2 pair of reading glasses was because my eyes was making me dyslexic when entering numbers on a pc monitor.
Obviously this is now affecting my work.
Any chance you can help me convince My Doctor and my Opticians.
I really need help, because I feel something serious is going to happen very soon.
I have also noticed street lamps here in the UK have been replaced with LED lighting. I understand the energy savings but I am now struggling to sse things in the dark. I feel like I should carry a white stick, to avoid obstacles.
I also have slight damage to the macular, which Is what my Opticians diagnosed from taking a picture of the rear of my eyes.
Your other visual snow syndrome videos explain the conditions perfectly.
I also have rugby shaped eyes Astigmatism which does not help with the condition.
Any help or advive would be appreciated.
    Kind Regards
    Paul Bunting

Worst thing for me with visual snow syndrome are those afterimages you are mentioning. Im much younger but have similiar problems when driving at night. In general bright light sources pointing directly at you. Which is interesting and might be helpful is that for me at least and some other guy, it significantly affects more if light source is directly pointed at you, so I saw a guy who gave advice to look at them at angle like tilting your head back (did not try this yet while driving, but checked it with lamp in my house and was better). Also this guy mentioned that lighting up inside of a car was working for him - to force his pupils shrink. SO he used a lamp inside of his car while driving at night.

Obsessed with your channel now! …I came to find it through the scleral/ keratoconus video. As for visual snow, I thought this was normal and that everyone else was tuning it out😅
if you’re looking for one single patient with a buffet of eye problems, I’m your guy!-visual snow, keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, and astigmatism (among others)
If possible, i would LOVE to chat about this stuff at some point 😃
Also! I did some vision therapy (for convergence deficiency), and I’d recommend it to anyone-even those without vision problems. I experienced all the benefits you mentioned.
I harassed you out on Twitter with a similar message in response to this video (@MakeMeister). Thank you for this! And thank you for understanding what I’m going through!

Ive always had VS. I realised this was the case when i was young, and i freaked out for a few days but eventually i got over it and it became normal and i was able to focus clearly. Now after smoking a hybrid weed, and having a panic attack, its like its gotten worse. Not only do i get easily distracted by the visual snow, but i also have head pressure, eye pressure, and brain fog that makes it hard to focus.

Vision therapy does a lot more with the visual system in the brain than just using the eye muscles. It's the idea of looking at how someone is processing the information versus receiving the information. College of Optometrists in Visual Development do a lot more for vision therapy than what you describe here that use the brain, not just the muscles.

Really appreciate the information and analysis. Might call it a "treatment" though more than a cure, since it clearly doesn't effect the snow itself.

The lifesaver card thing- I remember doing that for fun with the pattern on the wallpaper in my grandparents' spare room as a child when I was put down for a nap and didn't want to sleep. I've been able to do that sort of visual trick for as long as I can remember! Still have visual snow syndrome, though. I can ignore it and function but the snow and after images are always there. Also, my current optometrist is of the "That's cool, can't fix it" attitude. He told me he gets someone describing this once a decade and it has nothing to do with my eyes, so it's not his department. Very dismissive.

So it doesn’t affect the visual snow at all, just helps you focus on something else? That’s sort of what this seems like, teaching you to focus on the here and now as opposed to being upset about the VS?
