We the Band-Maidiacs have to work hard to spread the word. I just recently found Band-Maid myself, I have no idea why I didn't find them earlier. I found Rolling Quartz right after their first single release "Blaze" in January and started to listen to them, saw comments and got suggestions on YT about Band-Maid. I didn't click at first, why I don't know, but finally I did and I'm totally in LOVE with Band-Maid and bought their entire catalogue. They are an awesome live band and their music is just great, they yet have to write a mediocre song, they are high quality for sure.
I keep trying to get Rick beato to do a video on band maid, yet he never does. He talks about how Rock isn’t what it used to be and how we need young bands that sell out stadiums. And here is band maid, yet he never covers them.

Actually her vocal performance at Feb okujj wasn't very good. She got better towards the end but it didn't sound as good as this. But she really nailed it at December and May 10th okyuji. Did you watch it?

I have recently discovered this band. I am not kidding when I say that these women bring me to tears. I can’t even explain how brilliant they are and why they elicit this kind of emotion in me. I have been playing the guitar for 59 years and precious few musicians have affected me like this. One of the reasons why they affect me emotionally is that, even though they are singing in a language that I will never understand, they have impacted an old man’s life tremendously-and they will never know it. I hope they realize how incredible they are.
I found Band Maid about a year ago, and have listened to them almost every day since. I haven't felt this way about a band since I was a teenager in the 90's worshipping Iron Maiden. I have enjoyed many great bands since then, but none have elicited an emotional response in me the way the maids have. They are now my favorite band of all time.
Right on Brother! I'm 65 but was born in Japan and I can understand the lyrics. All the J-LadyMetal bands have wonderful uplifting lyrics as compared to the old hairy, sweaty, leather-clad shit that came before.

I noticed the new strength in her voice during the 2019 US tour and the Line Cube [SHINKA] performance. Her sound has matured noticeably and in an amazing way!
Probably puts less strain on her vocals as well when you got Miku backing her up on vocals.. Collective Soul did this and Ed still has an amazing voice..
@@Eyrothath Honestly, after she had the throat polyp surgery she got a new vocal coach (with Miku as well, iirc). That's made a huge difference in her power and sound. They also use a lot of backing tracks on live performances to augment her vocals. Just gives her sound a little more layered sound.
Well, they have announced a USA tour in 2022: nothing finalized yet, but pray this does actually happen. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll be coming to Canada on this tour (although we’re seriously hoping and praying…) so it looks like we’ll have to make a cross-border jaunt!
Played better live than the studio version. Mincho is turned up a notch and they must rehearse relentlessly. Then there's the amazing smiling goddess Akane. This is the best musical act on the planet today.

こんなにド迫力で野性味溢れながら音源のように精緻に歌う彩姫さんの実力に恐ろしさを感じる。ミクさんの美しいコーラスワークが最高に演奏を盛り上げている。世界中のオヤジを熱狂させるのも当然か。
凄いボリュームの演奏を突き抜けてくるんですもん。凄いですよね。私はライブの時のさいちゃんの声が好きなので、スタジオ版はどうも物足りない。オヤジだけではなくオバチャンファンも結構いますよ。

Very strong singing performance from Saiki, sounds as good as on record.
We can all argue about how soundmixing goes etc. But Saiki's voice is unarguably getting more interesting and more to come. 🤘🏼
She has a very unique, beautiful tone
I noticed the new strength in her voice during the 2019 US tour and the Line Cube [SHINKA] performance. Her sound has matured noticeably and in an amazing way!
Probably puts less strain on her vocals as well when you got Miku backing her up on vocals.. Collective Soul did this and Ed still has an amazing voice..
@@Eyrothath Honestly, after she had the throat polyp surgery she got a new vocal coach (with Miku as well, iirc). That's made a huge difference in her power and sound. They also use a lot of backing tracks on live performances to augment her vocals. Just gives her sound a little more layered sound.
@@magamaga2896 I’ve seen them 6 times live. I can absolutely say they use backing tracks. The Feb 11 online okyuji also says otherwise.

Well, they have announced a USA tour in 2022: nothing finalized yet, but pray this does actually happen. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll be coming to Canada on this tour (although we’re seriously hoping and praying…) so it looks like we’ll have to make a cross-border jaunt!

Saiki is amazing. Hell, they're all amazing, but I can't keep my eyes off Saiki.
Played better live than the studio version. Mincho is turned up a notch and they must rehearse relentlessly. Then there's the amazing smiling goddess Akane. This is the best musical act on the planet today.
