    thank you for the video hehe though the end could have been better with a little more description of the taste rather then just your sounds of enjoyment. also it would have been nice to know how much ground meat we need to use for this dish for a number of people.

    Learned how to dice onion from you by not cutting the bottom part. And the Hamburger Steak looked yummy. Will do it with minced pork. Thank you Taiji. How about Tendon sauce?

      Hey, thanx for your comment!! glad to hear that you enjoy my videos!
      I never had any cooking training, just from my mother, grandma and restaurants. oh and of course recently from other cooking UA-cam channels, lol.
      I was always interested in eating so whenever I eat something new and delicious, I imagine how it is made and sometime ask or research myself. its just my passion!!

    Ich denke das Gericht stammt von dem hier in Deutschland bekannten »Fleischküchla« ab:
    de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frikadelle
    Die Zutaten sind identisch.
    Die japanische Bezeichnung 「ハンバーグ」 kommt wahrscheinlich nur daher, dass es ein bisschen wie Hamburger aussieht.
    »Fleischküchla« war als Kind auch eines meiner Lieblingsgerichte. Schön zu hören, dass das bei japanischen Kindern auch so beliebt ist.

    • @taijiskitchen
      @taijiskitchen  3 роки тому

      ja, ich denke du hast recht. danke!!
      aber die Frage ist, woher kommt das Name "Hamburger"?

    • @bakuretsutenshi3579
      @bakuretsutenshi3579 3 роки тому

      @@taijiskitchen Vielleicht hattest du meinen Kommentar nicht aufgeklappt? Die japanische Bezeichnung 「ハンバーグ」 kommt denke ich von "Hamburger" und nicht der Stadt Hamburg direkt. Hamburger ist ja eine US-Amerikanische Abwandlung der Fleischküchla. Oder kennt man das Gericht in Japan als deutschen Ursprungs?

    What products are the Japanese essential pantry?

    • @taijiskitchen
      @taijiskitchen  3 роки тому +1

      its hard to say what are the essentials, but probably Soy sauce and Miso, if you wanna get more fancy then Sake (Rice wine) and Mirin.

    I have a question.Hopefully Taiji can help me with it, or someone else from the audience.I have a German friend that is allergic to onions.Could he leave out the onions, or use something else instead perhaps?

    • @taijiskitchen
      @taijiskitchen  2 роки тому +1

      oh really?? never hear do that, but sure! leave it out!
      as substitue, you can use diced (as small as those onions) carrots, celeries, or some other veggies.

    Great video. Your videos are well organized, ingredients are itemized, and the cooking instructions are clear. It’s obvious you take great care to be prepared. Thank you for that.
    You can look up hamburger as it is defined in Wikipedia.
    Some suggestions which may be helpful, or not.
    1). Onions being “see through” - translucent is the correct word:
    trans·lu·cent - adjective
    (of a substance) allowing light, but not detailed shapes, to pass through; semitransparent.
    "fry until the onions become translucent"
    2). Plural - when speaking of more than one tablespoon or teaspoon - it should be tablespoons or teaspoons. When speaking of noodles, it should be noodles, not noodle. You don’t just cook a noodle!!!!
    3). Match is consistently used incorrectly in all your videos. Look it up. The word means: a contest in which people or teams compete against each other in a particular sport.
    "a boxing match"
    It’s usually used to convey the idea that the food, sauce or other product goes well with…. That would be a better phrase to use.
    4). Make the patty too big - you’re referring to the thickness of the patty. So, it should be - don’t make the patty too thick…..

      You obviously understood everything he was saying in this video.
      So STOP NIT PICKING his use of English as second language.
      Do you speak any language other than your native one ?
      I think he is one of the best Speaker of English in many videos made by non English natives on YT. Give him a break !
