I wasn't prepared for the click-and-drag. Neither for the actual update nor for the video epic, gotta clean the coffee i spilled lol. Thank you for the content, I'm new here and I like it! Btw you've nailed it with the spoiler-free thing. Dodging Space Age content till Monday is now easier :)
THAT CLICK AND DRAG! I never knew this game could make me feel such things! Edit: This whole video is just me being the Spongebob "I don't need it! I need it!!" meme, this whole video is borderline sexual to me.
The feature that really blew my mind with logistics groups was the fact that you can drag a blueprint to a new group to fill that group with everything that blueprint needs! Insane productivity boost for going outposting!
1:45 - I see a bug, the landfill help text says "Right-click to clear" twice. I've been wanting to re-order my inventory logistics requests for a long time and I'm very excited to see that. It would be nice if requests in groups could be auto-sorted but I'll certainly take the ability to re-order them myself by dragging! Thank you for the spoiler-free content.
I ACTUALLY gasped out loud, that was... like... Have you ever seen an example of basic healthy relationship expectations/boundaries, and then suddenly realized you're in an abusive relationship?
Logistics Network changes is one of the best features i been looking forward to and this vid shows exacly what i want to get space age. the cliick and drag awesome
Dynamic, remote changing of combinators, recipes, requests.... You realize what this means? You can set up a universal assembling machine on a planet, and change the recipes from a different planet. Or have it dynamically change recipes to fill out whatever is missing in the logistics network. So instead of a mall with a separate machine for each item, you could have just a handful of assemblers making everything, without your direct supervision.
I love your videos. Thank you and please keep up the quality! Question though: How did you play and record this video while having no power? Do you use a laptop?

These videos are super helpful for explaining all the big changes to game systems. Are there any plans for one covering the major train changes/improvements?
They're called "logistics groups", not "constant combinator groups". Can't you set the requester chest to request directly from the logistics groups without writing it to a circuit? I'm pretty sure the same groups could also be used for personal logistics as well.
Are they going to fix the broken ui when you mouse over a logistics network item of a network with like 50 or more different items and then only the first 50 are shown and anything else is just genuinely impossible to see. That’s honestly the biggest issue I care about with the ui
There's a button above the map that shows your logistics networks and can show you everything in storage. The tool tip still only shows the first 50 though.
A couple of years ago, Nilaus raised an issue with train stops deadlocking. The issue was that a train that was sitting in a station waiting for a destination ("destination full") was counted towards that station's train limit. This prevents another train at the destination station from taking its place, creating a deadlock. You can re-create the issue with two stations on a loop of track and two trains visiting both. When both trains are waiting at the same time there will be a "destination full" deadlock. Do you know if this issue has been resolved in Factorio 2.0 / Space Age?
@@PianoMeister3 Thank you, I had missed that FFF. It sounds like the issue is actually side-stepped by the "Destination full" interrupt that they mention above that section. Interestingly in the "Reservation upgrade" section, they describe the issue the other way around. I don't know if that's a typo, or I'm misunderstanding the issue, or if it's something else - It's also possible that in their re-write they corrected the original issue and inverted the problem. Either way, it sounds like it isn't going to be a problem as now we can use depots properly which is fantastic.
4:52 That click-and-drag brought a tear to my eye
Cry of joy 😭
I dropped my jaw on the floor. Still trying to pick it up

so this update in short is:
"How Did I Lived Without It?: The Game"
And it gets better from here, too

Generator.
@@galdocstutorials You are US-based, right? Is it normal to have a generator?

Just started playing this game and it’s hilarious seeing everyone happy that there’s click and drag 😭
thank you so much for making these spoiler free

Wait does that mean I'll be able to click and drag my personal request window??? What a wild feature.
All those changes to Circuit and Logistics Networks are coming with 2.0 regardless If you pick up the DLC, right?
Yep

Not sure if this is exactly the scenario you're referring to, but FFF #389 mentions a deadlock fix in the "Reservation Upgrade" section.
