I buy organic sprouted no salt pumpkin seeds. The sprouted are easier to digest and of coarse I grind them too.
Thank you , it worked for my dog !😊🙏
Thank you so much!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Question is the seed or the shell and seed that use for my 🐕does it work for all parasites
Also coconut oil works even faster!!! Speaking from recent experience!
Dosing?
I used a tablespoon weekly and i have a very small cheweenie weighing 4 lbs.
Hello I have a question how did you fed it to your dog? Did you wet the food and add it to it ? .. Thank you
Only pumpkin (and black walnut) works on heart worms
@@SinatraKennedy I was told black walnuts or some form of walnuts are toxic for dogs. No?
How long does it take to work?
And if there raw will the blender work to process them
Will this work for roundworms?
Thank you my poor 8 week puppy is really pooing non stop with blood in his stools hopefully these seeds will help him
You need to go to the vet right away, blood in stool is beyond pumpkin seeds.
THRIVING CANINE
what is your take on DE for worms? thank you.
I haven't had any experience with it. Have you tried it?
I know it's a long time since you've asked but I happened to come across this video now. The DE gives my dogs mucusy stools. I know some mucus is OK, but with all 3 of them the music did not subside and I gave up on DE.
At one point, though, in the past, we did give DE for a long time and we had no problems. I have no idea why this time their tummies didn't agree with the DE.
Is it try seed or wet seed?
Thank you man my dog almost died from worms
Does this work for roundworms?
Can I use pumpkin Seeds straight from the pumpkin
Hi Chad, did you use shelled pumpkin seeds or with shell on?
Shelled
How soon after you started using the pumpkin powder did it start working?
It's been a while since I've had to do this, so I don't remember exactly. I do remember that it seemed like it worked in about a month but I had to keep using it for several more months to completely get rid of the worms, they kept coming back when I stopped using it. I want to say it took around 8 months in total. Always a good idea to contact a holistic vet for advice on health matters, this was just based on my own experience, I am not a vet.
Do spaghetti squash seeds work the same as pumpkin seeds?
Thanks for the great video. My Black Lab weighs about 80#. She is infested with fleas. How do I get rid of the fleas. I have carpeting (old) throughout the whole house. I can't afford to replace it . And cant seem to get rid of the fleas. Everytime she goes outside, she rolls around on the ground, and gets more fleas. She is always scratching and rolling in the house also. PLEASE HELP!! DESPERATE!!
Try a place called FleaBusters. Not sure if they are still around but they had natural products that worked well for us.
FYI. Dawn kills fleas. I gave my dog a bath in Dawn twice over a 3 day time frame and it suffocated and killed them all.
So how often should I do this? And what kind of worms does it kill? My dog gets the shot every six months for heartworms at the vet, do I need to continue this?
This is not for heart worms. My experience has only been with tapeworms, the kind that come from fleas. You have to do it every day.
Not for heart worms
How long do you give it to them? I’m asking for hookworms
Sasha LoPiccolo Sorry, I’m not sure about hook worms.
THRIVING CANINE ok. Thank you anyway for the reply. 😊
Dear Sir can you mix the pumpkin seed powder in peanut butter??
I don't see why not, as long as your dog doesn't have issues with peanut butter.
Make sure the peanut butter doesn't contain xylitol, that can kill them. It's used as an artificial sweetener, i was shocked on everything that can kill cats and dogs. Research both if you have both.
I tried it on my cat today and it seemed to work already!!
How much did you use?
@@RAJOHN-ke7mc i blended it to a fine powder and mixed a teaspoon or one and a half with each wet food meal, it seemed to get rid of the long species first, but some other worms didnt seem to care so i had to get worm meds for her to get her free of those parasites.
Any worms??
This would work better if they are "RAW" from the pumpkin!
😊👍
Shelled or unshelled put in grinder?
I used the shelled ones when I did it. That's usually what they sell in the bulk section. People put them in their trail mix and whatnot.
@@chadculp2093 thank you wasn't sure if shells are safe for my Dogs .
If they should ever get worms I would rather not give medication because of side effects of any kind .
Does it cover heartworms
No
I've been using the pumpkin seeds and coconut oil now for 2wks, how long before I see results and what results will I see??? will there still be worms in their poop or will they all be gone???
I might be late ....but some worms die inside the dog....and the dog digest them
Why can't you give them the whole seed? My dog eats the seeds whole.. loves them.. why must they be grounded
You can, I just don't know if it will digest or absorb as well.
In Humans, Just like Dogs and Cats, FIRST you have to use the RAW Seeds, powdered or broken down just as Chad Said -If you do NOT do this, the automatic cycle to RELEASE the specific Amino Acid Cucurbitin - It paralyzes the worms and eliminates them from your dog's digestive tract.
If my dog dies, im coming to u bro
or...go to a vet before that happens...?
@@run4fun682 it worked but my dog died a few months ago
@@nikolai8150 bruh, sorry to hear that. How did he die?
@@nikolai8150 I sent in poop samples to the vet yesterday...waiting to hear back results. Im hoping its just worms and not something more severe giving him bloating and diarreah.
Will carots kill worms in dogs to
I have never heard of that. A lot of people give their dogs carrots but I don't know if it does anything for worms.
@@ThrivingCanine These common orange vegetables are a great source of vitamin A and believe it or not, can get rid of worms in our canine companions. Coarsely chopped carrots scrape the walls of the stomach and gut as they are digested, removing the mucus and any parasites that are within it. Carrots can be fed as a tasty treat or included at meal times they are perfectly safe, boost the immune system and are an excellent source of nutrients for your pet.
I would do both! Pumpkin Seeds and carrots. Cant hurt.
How do you personally get rid of your dogs' fleas?
You may need to see a vet if it's a serious problem. I personally use a raw diet and add apple cider vinegar and we never have flea problems with our dogs. Back when I use to board dogs in my house we wound up with a flea problem. We used a company called flea busters which worked really well for the house and yard. Just bathed the dogs with flea shampoo from the pet store. It's been a long time, I think I may have had to use that shampoo 2 or 3 times until the flea problem was completely solved.
Fire rosted probably won't work
Well, so far one week of raw pumpkin seeds has had no effect on tapeworms. Hope it just takes a while. I use a blender to turn them into powder.
Can I use a blender
Ofcourse. Grind till fine.
@@dontbelieveeverythingyouhe5599 thank how many days do I give it to him ?
@@cicij972 - I am going 30. The tape has life cycles with the eggs. So enough time is needed for that. : ) It's healthy food, so no problem.
did you roast your seeds first
can i use pumpkin seeds straight from a pumpkin and not the store bought ones? thanks
Hara Bichi yeah i was wondering that too...can i just use pumpkin seeds straight out from a pumpkin or do i have to buy them in a bag
you can use seeds straight from a pumpkin, just leave them out to dry with the shell on and then grind them
watch this video, it explains it better -> /watch?v=5VOjw9glkOY
Can I smash them up with my hand if I dont have anything to grind it with ?
Arf arf
You said the seeds must be ground up but failed to say why? Your advice about experimenting with the dosage is useless and its impossible because you usually can't even see the worms, the fecal testing done at the vet is completely unreliable and could come back false negative even though your dog has worms so with your method how in the heck do you know if its even working. And of course your puppy would need more because puppies are full of worms. if you are going to make advice videos at least have good advice. You are right that supposedly pumpkin seeds kill tapeworms but that is it
Geez!! You know, I hear that Google works really well (bfy.tw/IXWf). Based on these comments, you'd NEVER believed your dog to be dewormed. Chad is trying to HELP people, but it's ultimately your responsibilty to do your own research. Your time would probably be better spent reasearching. Spreading negative attidudes may seem gratifying right now, but it really just makes you seem ignorant, although I'm sure that you were aiming at seeming brilliant. #Choices (I know that yours is an old comment, but there are so many haters out there, mine will be relevant for years to come)
The ground up seeds somehow rip the worms body apart and kills it. I don’t understand the science, but I think that’s a dummied down version
