A means to reduce this is to wean yourself off. You allow or plan for moments of surrender. Like one or twice a week. Than as time progresses, you reduce that. Eventually removing the desire all together. Second, forgive yourself when you mess up. It's very easy to relapse. But, more so if we carry the shame of the mistake. Instead of remembering we're human. It happens. Accept it, forgive yourself, and move forward.
