The first time I saw Ted was in '77. He was 45 minutes late and literally landed backstage in a helicopter. He had just flown straight in from big game hunting in Africa. Busy guy
Ive seen Ted many times being from Michigan and he always puts on a great concert. He is such an underrated guitar player, and its a shame he's not in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.
The rock n roll hall of fame is a complete joke! I’ve seen Uncle Ted about 7 times. Headlined every show but once when he opened for Kiss. Always puts on an amazing show and can definitely entertain. I think he has played over 7k concerts too
I was at a concert and came in on the buffalo and he was in a loin cloth...amazing show...I was 18...I am 60 now and still remember it...loudest concert I have ever attended and I have been to many...fun times...Ted is the defintition of intense
He is hard to recognize in this video because he is much younger and minus the beard and long hair, but that drummer is Tommy Clufetos. Drummer for Rob Zombie and Ozzy Ozbourne.
I'm gonna be honest, I have heard ted my whole life but until recently I haven't considered him my top 5 guitar players. He made the list now lol. Jimi, Angus, eddy, Tom morello and ol ted!
The bassist is Março Mendoza and the drummer is the legendary Tommy Aldridge ( Black Oak Arkansas, Ozzy when Randy Rhoads was still alive, Whitesnake). In case you were wondering. Ted was opening for KISS on the 2001 Farewell tour. I saw him in Charlotte, NC. They were firing on all cylinders!!🤘🤘
That's the First time I saw Ted Nugent live with Kiss on the farewell tour...I was like 23 then at the Woodlands Pavilion in Houston Texas..He got a lifetime ban at the Pavilion for his mouth..they just recently a couple years ago let him come back and play.. People are crybabies!❤
I was there, it was at the Palace of Auburn Hills just north of Detroit when he opened for KISS. The Buffalo was kept in an air conditioned trailer out in the parking lot until Ted did his finale. I was on the main floor, almost center stage, about 20 rows back and as best as I could see there were no rails or anything preventing the animal from jumping into the crowd if it wanted to. I never would have thought anyone could ride and control an american bison with a saddle and bridle, but I saw it that night with my own two eyes. As far as this performance of the song goes, I have to be honest, and say it's shabby.
The Motorcity Madman is Still My Favorite Rock n Roller. 1971, my first concert! I didn't get it all, I didn't understand it all, But It Was Awseome and Changed Me! Thank You Ted for 51 years My Spiritual Brother!
If you guys haven't listened or watched the whole live concert/cd /dvd It's a must! Probably the best, most intense show you'll ever see and hear!! 3 Amazing musicians tearing it up!!! You won't stop moving!
I saw him at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth about 10 years ago. He finishes a song, holds up his guitar, and says, “This the Gibson Byrdland, the sexiest f*cking guitar in all the land. And if you disagree, you can go straight to hell!” As you can guess, the place went absolutely nuts 😂
I met Ted... "The Motor City Madman" back in 1979, California World Music Festival at the LA Colosseum back stage. He did a 30 minute "STRANGLEHOLD" on over 100,000 people at one time. Got his autograph on a T-shirt. The song is NOT about a woman..... It IS about the music industry that at first turned Ted down. That is why it is violent, but not really a woman target.
"Then along came the white man with his thick and empty head wanted all the buffalo dead" Derrick StHolmes is the vocalist for this song on the "Double Live Gonzo" album. "TedUcated" 7 times (so far)😁 Once he shot an effigy of Saddam Husain with a flaming arrow. BTW Bison meat is delicious.
I did get to see Ted Nugent in the late 90s , too bad I don't remember more of it ! Wow , I've heard this song many times , never heard this version , thank you for that !
If I was to introduce anybody to Ted Nugent, this would be this song and video I would introduce them to. That was so 🔥🔥🔥🔥!! Amazing performance by The motor city madman
I saw Ted Nugent open for Kiss on their first farewell tour(2000 lol). Ted was awesome. I'm surprised that Kiss let him bring the buffalo along even though Ted was the opening act. (Edit. This is the same Ted Nugent Band that I saw back then... Ted Nugent, Tommy Clufetos on drums, Marco Mendoza on bass)
This is not how the song goes on the album. You only get this at a live concert. Ted is also known for shooting flaming arrows over the crowd into a bullseye. That did not last long either. This is High Energy Rock n Roll !! So glad I was there. Kids today have no clue what they have missed.
The only reason that Ted isn't in the HOF is that he refuses to be anything except what he is. Love him or hate him, hell always be true to who he is and will never bow down to Hollywood or the music industry. God bless Uncle Ted and Rock and Roll
Wolf hunters, you guys should watch uncle TEDs 2019 live version of wang dang sweet poontang at freedom hill ! It’s a Tragicom video. Just 3 guys jamming! Ted is still amazing on the video at the young age of 71 ! Do a review! You won’t be disappointed!
Opening entrance: Suzi Q on the back of Travis, The real Wolfhunter buffalo; ride those spurs Suzie Q☺. You can think of Ted what you want, but the guy is the ultimate live performer.
You just feel like you need a cigarette after that performance! Eargasm at its finest right there! A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without Uncle Ted is not a real Hall of Fame!! 🤘✌️
If you will watch other live versions of this song on You Tube, you'll quickly see that this is not up to par and sounds nothing like his song "Great White Buffalo".
Pedophile Ted said Jailbait you look so good to me Jailbait won't you set me free Jailbait you look fine fine fine I know I've got to have you in a matter of time Well I don't care if you're just thirteen You look too good to be true I just know that you're probably clean There's one lil' thing I got do to Honey you you you look so nice She's young she's tender Won't you please surrender She's so fine she's mine All the time, all mine mine It's all right baby It's quite all right I asked your mama Wait a minute officer Don't put those handcuffs on me Put them on her and I'll share her with you
That is what makes America so great. You are allowed to express your opinions freely. It is part of our constitution. That is what Ted believes and holds dear.
Yeah, that’s all politics, which is total bullshit. The body of work is undeniable.
Nothing like being at Cobo arena New Years Eve in Detroit Rocking in the New Year with Uncle Ted!
It's all Politics with the HOF. They Suck!!!
The rock n roll hall of fame is a complete joke! I’ve seen Uncle Ted about 7 times. Headlined every show but once when he opened for Kiss. Always puts on an amazing show and can definitely entertain. I think he has played over 7k concerts too
He’s not underrated one bit…. He’s wide;y known as one of the best guitarists and performers of all time
I was deaf for a week, after I saw him... Best concert ever...
AC/DC is louder😂
🙄
I hear you, kinda, man. Seen him 3 times in the 70's.
He did that in August of 2001 at the DTE Energy Theatre (Old Pine Knob) venue north of Detroit.
A tear it up riff and a noble lyric.
Last time I saw him was his scream dream tour with areosmith.he came on stage in a loin cloth and swung from a cable.
And THAT'S why we call him the Motor City Madman!!
My favorite ted Nugent jam very cool live
Ted and Derek St Holmes was a Frickin Force and still are !
I saw Nugent once swing out onto stage in nothing but a loincloth like Tarzan! He is a wild man for sure.
Definitely top ten and possibly top five Rock guitarist of all time.
I was at a concert and came in on the buffalo and he was in a loin cloth...amazing show...I was 18...I am 60 now and still remember it...loudest concert I have ever attended and I have been to many...fun times...Ted is the defintition of intense
Ted Nugent and The Amboy Dukes and Cactus my first concert in 1974 I Was 14 going on 15 !! Call of The Wild Album !! I'm 63 !!
Yup. That's Uncle Ted
Bass Player is Marco Mendoza
I really enjoy listening & watching Ted. He's an enormously talented guitarist. The band is really tight.
There's only 3 words i can say about Ted Nugent. Double Live Gonzo. Find it, listen to it and tell me u are not blown away by this band.
I seen him in 2007 greatest concert ever
This is one of Nugent's core songs - first released on the Amboy Dukes album "Tooth, Fang & Claw"
I have watched the ton of your reaction videos, I don't know how I missed this one. Great white Buffalo is my favorite Uncle Ted song
Since 1965 he's been killing it
He is hard to recognize in this video because he is much younger and minus the beard and long hair, but that drummer is Tommy Clufetos. Drummer for Rob Zombie and Ozzy Ozbourne.
Uncle Ted is always great in concert. You never know what he's going to say or do.
Seeing uncle Ted so many times I have loss of hearing in my right ear.... 70s was the best. Magical

Those Detroit shows were just EPIC!! Privileged to have experienced it!! Rock On, Uncle Ted!!!
Ted Nugent is an American Legend !!!

The madman.
Awesome show yay 🤘😝🤘🎸
The Motorcity Madman is Still My Favorite Rock n Roller. 1971, my first concert! I didn't get it all, I didn't understand it all, But It Was Awseome and Changed Me! Thank You Ted for 51 years My Spiritual Brother!

I remember Suzy saying someone knows how to play guitar, did you realize it was the motor city mad man
Not everybody can wear a tail, shred, and make it look good! I saw Uncle Ted a few times. He was always a great show!
The things we do for Rock n Roll. 😎😎🎸🎸🎸
Get the whole video, won't be disappointed. The next song is killer! Oh Fred Bear, walk with me, down the trails again....
Speed metal before it was popular!
This was the loudest concert I ever saw.
I saw uncle Ted in 1979, he blew my mind I was about 20 feet from the stage one of the best concerts I've ever seen! Sammy Hagar opened for him!
I saw Van Halen open up for Ted Nugent the one and only time they opened for him. At the Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland in 1978. Great memories.
The Red Rocker and Uncle Ted. What a powerful combo!
I saw him in 1976 at Denver, he blew my mind...and ruptured my left eardrum for real!
You had to be there! Remember there's only One Ted Nugent!
That Gibson Birdland is worth over $30,000
Yassssss. I've been waiting 4 years for one of the many reactors I subscribe to, to do this song.
WOOOOOW
If I "sacrifice the Buffalo he'll live forever". Familiar story.
That's the motor city mad man 🔥
Straight up rock and roll!
Live music 🎶 is the best music 🎵🎶
This was awesome
The motor city mad man rocks! 🤘
I met Ted... "The Motor City Madman" back in 1979, California World Music Festival at the LA Colosseum back stage. He did a 30 minute
"STRANGLEHOLD" on over 100,000 people at one time. Got his autograph on a T-shirt. The song is NOT about a woman..... It IS about the music industry that at first turned Ted down. That is why it is violent, but not really a woman target.
Uncle Ted rocks. Seen him many times.
I love uncle ted
I think Uncle Ted and SRV have to be 2 of the best live guitarist ever.
The studio versions never do them justice.
"Then along came the white man with his thick and empty head wanted all the buffalo dead"
Derrick StHolmes is the vocalist for this song on the "Double Live Gonzo" album.
Theismann was setting to see live.just never knew what he might do.
UNCLE TED !!!!!!!
If I was to introduce anybody to Ted Nugent, this would be this song and video I would introduce them to. That was so 🔥🔥🔥🔥!! Amazing performance by The motor city madman
The live version of Flesh and Blood Ted is electric.. Highly recommend you both watch and react🤘🎶🎶✌️
🤘🎸✌🙏👍❤❤❤. Loved the reaction guys!
The drummer is amazing. Like the drummer is the best on the stage . Do you hear how great the drummer is???
Saw him live and singing this song. (minus buffalo) him and his band are entertainment at its best!!!
lol longest ending ever ! 😂
THE Motor City MADMAN!!!
I saw that tour in Nashville! Freaking awesome!
I Was Wondering Who The Drummer Was !! Yes Tommy Clufetos and Marco Mendoza !! I Saw Tommy Playing With Black Sabbath on There The End Tour in 2016 !!
Ted makes liberals melt like gummy bears in the sun 😅
Uncle Ted don't play by the ruels. Motor City Mad Man
This is not how the song goes on the album. You only get this at a live concert. Ted is also known for shooting flaming arrows over the crowd into a bullseye. That did not last long either. This is High Energy Rock n Roll !! So glad I was there. Kids today have no clue what they have missed.
Ted is great.. he’s much better live… one of the few who is better live…. His best album is double live gonzo… every song is perfect…
Mark "The Animal" Mendoza originally with Twisted Sister played bass in this video.
Wrong. Marco Mendoza. Different person altogether
The only bad part of this is when Travis says "not bad, not bad"
Ted Nugent like big drums
The only reason that Ted isn't in the HOF is that he refuses to be anything except what he is. Love him or hate him, hell always be true to who he is and will never bow down to Hollywood or the music industry. God bless Uncle Ted and Rock and Roll
I sent in the original and this is way better.
Ted tore this up. What a classic performance
A friend and I saw Ted in a big country bar outside of Milwaukee. After a little over an hour we had to leave. The volume was just to loud.
You just feel like you need a cigarette after that performance! Eargasm at its finest right there! A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without Uncle Ted is not a real Hall of Fame!! 🤘✌️
The bass was nice but Uncle Ted killed it as always. Don't fuck with him on his politics or vigil for freedom. Can if you want , though. Good luck.
Soixies lovely lol.
& think, He did that with no drugs.
I STILL think ya'll need to cover WANG DANG SWEET POONTANG.
Just sayin'
Gibson Byrdland is not a r&r guitar. Ted owned that shit. Feedback, sustain. Nobody does it anymore.
Check out Fred Bear also!
If you will watch other live versions of this song on You Tube, you'll quickly see that this is not up to par and sounds nothing like his song "Great White Buffalo".
Agreed
Is this full concert available on UA-cam?
Try Fred Bear
One of his greatest SONGS, you should check out FRED BEAR!!
Fuckin' A
You should be impressed with the headdress..
Ted is always better live
Ted for Texas governor please
REACTION MUSE
Try 6 feet under
In my opinion, Ted is a trash human being but, his 6-string Mastery cannot be denied, not with a serious face anyway.
Pedophile Ted said
Jailbait you look so good to me
Jailbait won't you set me free
Jailbait you look fine fine fine
I know I've got to have you in a matter of time
Well I don't care if you're just thirteen
You look too good to be true
I just know that you're probably clean
There's one lil' thing I got do to
Honey you you you look so nice
She's young she's tender
Won't you please surrender
She's so fine she's mine
All the time, all mine mine
It's all right baby
It's quite all right I asked your mama
Wait a minute officer
Don't put those handcuffs on me
Put them on her and I'll share her with you
Now do " stray cut strut " by the Rolling Stones.
I love this video so much!
Watched it about 200 x since discovering it
Used to open for him back in the day w my band
Fuck, im old!!!
Still my
Can't stand his music or his politics. Jim
That is what makes America so great. You are allowed to express your opinions freely. It is part of our constitution. That is what Ted believes and holds dear.
You folks are to young to be from the 70s
Cmon wind...come on storm....
Lets go mother fucker!!!
Gotta love this.
I do.
Good album by uncle Ted, party songs 🎉🤘😆🤘🎸🥁🎤
(That's Ted the best Guitar player ever was)
