Do you have the dimensions of your sleeping platform build available anywhere by chance?
I have a few questions..:
1. How do you get ventilation in the car? Do you just crack the windows with the reflectex on them? Or? We’ve car camped before and waking up breathless was a big issue from lack of air 😂
2. Where do you store the cooler, rinsekit and water when you are sleeping? Front seats or outside the car? How does that work in national parks? We’ve had this issue in the past too.. it all sounds good until all of the things AND you sleeping need to be in the vehicle 😂
We crack the windows! We have these window hoods on the car too so that way if it’s raining the water doesn’t get in the car. The reflectix with the tape usually stays in place that way too. In terms of the storage we put it all on the passenger seat and in front of it and it all fits! We do the same thing in the parks.
For the window covers, I wonder if you could sew piping with magnets in it on the edge so it'll stick the car frame.
We're thinking of just actually getting some from Weather Tech that fit without needing sticking hahaha but we shall see

Do you guys have the back seats of the car down? Or did you take out the back seats?
We just have them down!! That way during the week we can just prop them back up
