The Most Underrated Rum Brand: Chairman’s Reserve
Вставка
- Опубліковано 11 лип 2024
- Chairman’s Reserve is a brand produced by Saint Lucia Distillers.
They are bringing to market some of the best rum, and two few consumers recognize the greatness of what they’re doing.
These are masterfully blended between column and pot-stilled rums and bottled without adulteration.
If you’ve walked by their bottles on the shelves of a liquor store or away from asking for a taste of your favorite bar, think again!

I love your videos!! Thank you so much for your information on rum ! Especially the chairman‘s reserve! It’s because of you I own a bottle of the legacy! So delicious 🤤 still trying to figure out what cocktails to mark with it! And I must say I was hesitant to buy the 1931 , but after you said it’s the best rum you ever had 😮 I have to pull the trigger!! Quick question where can you buy that Bounty Rum ? Haven’t been able to find a bottle and how good is it? Thanks again 🎉
Thank you for watching! It really is so underappreciated. Have you tried the 1931 yet? Let me know when you do!
Remind me again, where you live. I really can only speak to the southern California market.
I live in City of Orange 🍊 near Anaheim
@f2343 Check Hi Time in Costa Mesa, pretty sure I saw a few there as recently as last week.
Thank you
Thanks for speaking to the Admiral Rodney history. Those bottles are a great part of their lineup, sorely in need of a re-brand.
I think they oughta just retired the admiral and focus on chairman‘s reserve. Have an annual strength release and call it the admiralty or something like that
So under appreciated. Their cask strength rums make me want to cry!
Right?! More single barrels from CR, please!
For me, St. Lucia Distillers rums have always been a "ignore people, drink what you like" rum for me.
I have the Spiribam Vendom. 1 of my favorite rums..
It’s SOOO GOOD!!
I like the middle child best too 😊
I wonder why!
Would have loved some notes or description what makes these so good!
Heard! I’ll incorporate that into new content. Sorry! I need to get comfortable with posting videos that are longer than five minutes.
Similarly I swear I paid attention but what I heard was “I call them mad scientists because they age their rum in barrels, sometimes more than once” and “they’re always tinkering, that’s why I call them tinkerers.” Did I miss something revealed here about what makes them unique or particularly interesting?
Thanks for the history lesson. I actually just yesterday got a bottle of CR Legacy which I'm looking forward to tasting. It's my first rum from St. Lucia.
Alright! I am so excited for you. Please do let me know your thoughts. I LOVE the legacy. Cane juice and molasses combo and makes an amazing mint julep.
Chairmans Reserve would easily be my favourite brand from the English speaking Caribbean.
It’s amazing stuff! 🇱🇨🇱🇨
You crack me up! You make learning about rum informative and hilarious
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
The best spiced rum on the market! *that I have had here in Arkansas lol
Their spiced convinced me that there are good spiced rums out there for sure! You may want to consider trying the bounty rum spiced as well if you can find it
@@therumchampion will do! Thanks man. Love your videos! Keep it up
1:27 pronounced it right first time!
Eyyy! Alright! Thanks for confirming 🙏
But no reference to their white rum ?
Unfortunately, their white rum is not available here in the US
@@therumchampion ah, I wouldn't have known that. Easily available here in the UK and I'm sure you would love it.
@@therumchampion I can get Chairman's Reserve White in the Gary's Wine & Marketplace chain of liquor stores here in NJ for about $28, so they definitely do sell it in some parts of the U.S.
While I agree with the assessment of St. Lucia Distilleries $ Chairman's Reserve, why does this video look like it was filmed on a potato? 2003 called and wants its webcam back.
lol not sure. I recorded using 4k and edited with my usual software.
