In fact, I tell a lie I do have one in my outside bar which I’ve not tried in ages, have to check it out but definitely not the forgotten cask! Sorry for being dense Steve. I'm still not clear on the "Forgotten Casks" label. I take it that the rum used in this line is not actually from those original "forgotten" casks but rather the "forgotten casks" gave the distillery the idea of using rum that is aged longer than that used in their "Original" and "Reserve" lines to make a new blend?

The OG Forgotten Casks release...YES that was a those forgotten casks. However, if you know how old the rum is in the casks, a Master Blender than then blend virtually identical liquid to carry on the recreate over the next few years. You just have to age their normal barrels longer. Which they do anyway for their 1931.
