Thank you so much for explaining the driver mount. I was expecting it to have these orange Clips and I thought they were missing. But all good. Thanks

Just as an add in tip I’d always use four ratchets instead of dealing with the hanging wire, one big downfall to using the wires it’s that it takes roughly 1ft of space where as four ratchets you can get these types of bar lights roughly 4 inches from the top of your tent. Don’t get me wrong it’s not a big deal if you’re growing smaller plants but if you want a good sized plant to really fill out a tent then go with the four ratchets.

As I mentioned in the video I also do not normally use them, but this particular hanger only takes up 5.5", and while yes that is more than just ratcheting hangers will take up, it also means that you only have to adjust the 2 hangers instead of all 4. I also do not like when the hanging hardware takes up all that space, but I am ok with it in this instance.

@@TheHippieGeeks lol it literally takes the exact same amount of time to hang a light with four ratchets as it does two, you control one with each hand and I’ve done it tons of times and it’s never been slower it’s only slower if you pull each one individually which no one really does anymore so what your saying about the hanging speed really isn’t true at all when I easily do it in my 4x4 with a commercial grade light and I’m not a big person physically at all and it took me the exact same amount of time with four as it did with two. Like I said though if you don’t need that space and have small plants yeah it’s not a big deal but if the plant the person is growing averages 5 - 6 ft tall then yes it matters because your light can physically burn the plants and if you don’t have that extra room to give then you’ll come out with burnt product. Btw I wasn’t aiming my tip directly towards you but in general for any growers or anyone new to growing. Have a great week everyone, Namaste.

Yeah when you use 4 adjustable hangers the light is a pain in the a33 to hand straight and level

Hey Nan I bought the se3000 evo as well been using it a couple months it kicks out savage par I’m running it on he spiderfarmer 2.5x2.5 grow tent and max is 85% giving me 1000- 1150 ppms at approx 24 inches savage light lots more power than it’s pre decesors !!!!so plenty extra par there for adding co2 👍👍👍that I dont use as I’m just a homegrower so no point in an industrial setting yes add co2 but fir just in your house no point wasting money for little to no benefits the co2 u breath out is enough if just growing in your house tried and tested 👍👍👍

I like the options that squeezing this light into a smaller tent for sure. I am always a fan of squeezing the biggest light into the tent that you can, as long as if fits in the budget anyways =)

@ yes we’ll I dunno the aw 3000 evo is in spiderfarmer 2.5x2.5. But I have a 3x3 by ac infinity all in with the evo 4 in there it’s same as the se 3000 just by ac I infinity and it’s lights the 3x3 and flowers it no problem so it is well overpowered in the 2.5 x 2.5 for cannabis but I didn’t feel 200 wats was enough the sf 2000 was gonna b in the little tent but I feel u need 250 wats min for flowering anything decently so that’s y I got the se3000 and it was money well spent 👍I’m mid flower with 1 runtz muffin scrogged out filling the wee 2.5 and it’s banging really is can’t fault the new se3000evo it’s great and luv the digital dial for adjusting power % and comes ready built unlike the pre decesors working well for me here in freezing bloody Scotland lol but it’s great for flowering and dwc as it’s never hot hot here in fact in winter I switch back to cmh lamps in my veg room to get some heat in there the leds aren’t much use to help warm things up like the old hid systems are I can use them to heat the house and light the plants up at the same time 👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you very much for your review. One question to this part 2:30 : is it really that easy to remove the driver from the bars? I am a bit reluctant to press the tabs into the grooves. Because the tabs are slightly bent on the corners and seem to be made out of steel, while the light bar is made of aluminium, I am worried that I will never ever get the driver separated from the light bar again without damaging something. Maybe you can shed some light on this. Thank you.

But the light isn't covering that amount of area.
