I think Kody & Robyn definitely planned their entrances & exits for every episode.
I think they discussed the filming days , what they were going to say and where they were going to sit too.
Yep. And that’s why Janelle’s boys had a harder time than Christine’s kids, they were used to being ignored.
I think Kody liked Janelle’s kids because they were mostly boys. He related to his boys In the beginning at least. Later we know it was just Robyn’s kids male or female.

Caleb is Erica’s brother. I think people mostly think it’s weird because they started flirting when he was a grown man and she was in high school. She recounts having a crush on Caleb at like 14, when he was 22. By the time Curtis passed she was 18 and that’s when they actually started ‘talking’ but it’s still disconcerting for an 18yr old to be ‘talking to’ a 26yr old because they shouldn’t have enough in common to start a relationship. There’s a difference between a high school senior dating a 26yr old and a 26yr old dating a 34yr old, the latter is more likely to have something in common.
I also say this from the perspective of having parents who are eight years apart.
It’s also weird because they are such close family. No, they are not blood, but it’s still very odd.
Her house was also worth more as it was the only one not backed up by a road. Kody made a huge deal about that specific house being Robyn’s too.
I’m 64. I had my children at 22, 26 & 31. They considered me geriatric when I had my last baby. Now I think they consider you geriatric in your 40’s. My youngest is almost 33 now and she’s having her second baby in June. More young adults are going to college and getting their careers started first before having children.
My daughter was labeled geriatric mother at 35 😳

Janelle was married to Meri’s brother before she married Kody. That’s how Janelle knew Meri’s family. She’s Meri’s ex sister in law and now ex sister wife lol

Our recent experience with having a roof inspection where a tree fell against the roof line. The dude came when we werent here, but we got a message telling us we owed $275 for the inspection. Finally after calling the company for 4 weeks, we told him no work was done. The office mgr actually said..." well he didnt get to check out the upper part because his nose was running". 😢
That whole mission statement nonsense . Was a TLC storyline. It's too bad they didn't live up to it in their commitments to each other, in the long run. Time & situations change . In us all.

I'm an older mom. I had one at 38 yrs old and my other at 42. You are correct 35 yrs they start to worry. Both my boys are fine. We were ready for my boys and financially ok

It’s Christine’s backyard they put their handprints. When she goes to sell they talk about covering it over.
His grandson says he was abusive and is probably the reason his grandma chose to go into polygamy.
I think the commitment ceremony was to shut up any of the wives (Christine) who might have felt a certain type of way about Robyn's wedding being so grand compared to the other wives. Robyn's wedding was all about Robyn, and this was supposed to bring the wives together. There was probably lingering animosity about how everything went down with the dress and everything else. If it was Robyn's back yard, I wouldn't be surprised because nothing can be done that doesn't benefit Kody and especially Robyn. She came out on top every time the family made any large financial decisions.
Apparently Robyn hardly ever let the little one play in her yard and on that nice playground equipment. Such a waste to have put it there

The commitment ceremony was solely committing to Robyn and their kids. Almost intentionally making the other wives almost seem like "Cinderella step sisters." I always found it strange that out of all dresses...Robyn just happened to have one that perfectly matched kody's tie and their kids all coordinate. However the other wives honestly seem like bridesmaids (afterthoughts)

I have felt for a long time as much as I like Jenelle I have felt that she fell head over heels. The moment she saw Cody and apparently son Cody treated Jeanette Mary really really well apparently compared to how are janelles husband was treating her. I don’t know how that was, but that’s what I’m thinking.

Too be fair Kody was good looking in his twenty's young and idealistic . Not so much now in 2024. He has become the picture of Dorian Gray.

Yeah LDS Morman . To be honest Meri , Janelle & Christine. Were all attractive in their own way. so was Robyn. and most of the children of the OG3 are good looking too. And have some kind of special spark about them.

Robyn and Christine were the folks that needed outdoor space. Teens don’t need grass to walk on outside in the desert.

At 46, I had a 29 yr old, a 22 yr old, a 13 yr old and twin 12 yr olds. All from the same husband, who passed away when I was 41.He was just 45 when he died. I made my parents grandparents when they were 36 and 37 yrs old.

It was 100% Robyn’s backyard, they say it in a later episode. I feel like it wasn’t solely to redo her backyard but it started off as like a Kody idea to have a party, Robyn liked and then the tlc people were like yeah this will make a good storyline and then Robyn had the idea of having it the backyard. Honestly watching these episodes it seems like the only person into is Robyn. Maddie even says that that she only saying that she doesn’t want to sign it to upset Robyn. I feel like that right there, plus the way that she acts through it all tells me that it was her idea. Meri and Janelle both seem to not care at all and Christine says that she only started to care on the SF trip
