Robyn probably insisted on showing her kids the new house right before they left to see their dad so that she could further indoctrinate them against him. She wanted to reinforce to them that they have a brand new, exciting house to move into once they got back, so they wouldn’t even think about wanting to stay with their dad

My husband and I always tell people that a good long term relationship is one where you can spend your down/bored time with them. Not doing anything with them in particular, just in each other's presence. If that person is someone you can be around during the quiet, relaxed, and uninteresting parts of life, that's a good match.
I agree my mom & dad were married over 55 yrs. Lived like that.
@lisaowen6103 like, yes, do enjoyable things together too, but recognize that real life has a whole lot of mundane and boring parts. Find the person you want to sit in the same room with.
This made me think, lol. I can't imagine not being in any relationship (romantic or not) in which we couldn't just be boring and relaxed together. I think the key is that your boring times have to match. If you want to go out and party during times they just want to read or vice versa that will never work out.
@targaghjj exactly that. But we have told this to so many youngish (we are in our 40s) people and they look at us like we have revealed the mystery of the universe. Like they've never even thought about everyday compatibility. They just date and play.
So spot on John about Robyn carving out her family!

My dad wasn't lovie doveie. But on valantines day he did get my mom and me a heart shaped box of chocolates . The fancy kind with red cellophane. ♥️ He would also write a corny poam for mom.
That’s sweet. My dad got a little something for mom, & us kids when we were small. I always looked forward to the little box of chocolates.💕
John's cousin's story was hilarious 😂
I'm pretty sure Meri watches y'all. She did a live with Jen and Amos. Jen was asking them questions interview style. One of them was "What's your favorite shape?" Amos said "Round." Meri grabbed his face (mimicking Robyn) and said something along the lines of "We don't say things like that!" and they all laughed hysterically. John is the only one I know of that has pointed out Meri's dislike for circles.
Meri's circle dislike was featured on the show so it's a reasonable question to be honest.
Isn't that when Amos is like "what is happening right now?" it was so funny.
How do you watch that? Oh my goodness, I know people are so ugly on UA-cam comments. Please, I really am just asking, how in the world do I find Meri & Jenn doing lives (I absolutely would love to watch that). Thank you
@lsakds1 I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I watched everything through our xfinity but saw some people put the whole episodes up on YT too. I think they change their channel alot because of the copyright strikes.

You guys mention Kody's gloves, Robyn is the only wife who always has her hair and nails done.
Kody would have had to help with the paperwork for Meri's home because both he and Meri were the buyers together due to being married. They needed his information too, and I bet he wanted her to take care if all if it. I'm sure you know that he has to fill out some of it.
She took his name off of the mortgage when she divorced Kody. (Says something, huh?)

Honestly after i started watching this show i started the St Lucia tradition in my family. All the girls cousins cook breakfast for the family on Christmas. And im not just being dramatic, thanks christine lol. But yeah it was thanks to Christine! Lol
There is always a lot of talk about Meri being late to hand in papers that Janelle and Christine were able to hand in right away. I think people are forgetting that at that time Meri and Kody were legally married, which means here in Iceland that both have to do and deal with paperwork when people are building a house. Don't know how it works in the United States, but both parties in the marriage here in Iceland have to submit mortgage information in order to get a loan, or that's how it worked here in Iceland at the time when the Brown family was building the houses in Las Vegas, in today you can do this through home banking and electronic IDs. But ever since Meri was no longer Kody's legal wife, she has had no problem making things right, just like Janelle and Christine did in Las Vegas. Which tells me that since Kody has no doubt only been thinking about Robyn, who was still legally a single mother and therefore nothing in her paperwork that Kody had to sign or show, but that has caused Meri to return her To late. No doubt with everything ready but because she wasn't Robyn she had to wait.
Yeah. This would be a question I would have for my version of a tell all.

Is that what that is? It used to be cool for a man to wear neck jewelry, back in the 70s/80s, but now, unless you’re a rapper, it’s kind of douchey on most guys.🤷🏻♀️ Just my opinion.
@@joellepatry493 not just your opinion it’s a common thought process. It’s not really the heart of the ocean. It’s just hideous and looks like it. I do believe it is a piece of jewelry that Robin bought him and I think that that’s her influence because she seems to like men with jewelry and creepy curly hair.

It was really on Meri that she was not in her home by Christmas. She constantly went to the construction site, which delayed everything, to take her scrapbook pictures; and she was not timely on her paperwork. She laughed when realtor Mona called both her and Kody out for continually going to the site. It looked like the house was done - waiting on paperwork approval.
Taking pucs doesn’t delay anything. Constant change orders does. I doubt Kody made himself available to do timely paperwork. Too busy with the pencil wetter.

If you're talking about not changing their name right away and then it ended up getting divorced that was Luann from the Housewives of NYC she didn't get around to it and then she end up being divorced in a couple of months

A Convection Oven still burns food. It works something like an Air Fryer. My Oven has a Setting to use Convection Cooking. I love my oven.
Oh.... Kody is difficult because he eats Gluten Free. It's been brought up a few times, when one of the Wive's tells him what is cooking. He asks if it is gf...like they would forget.
I’ve never tried a convection oven, but the ones I see in RVs are the size of microwaves, & even smaller inside. What the heck can you even fit in there? Give me a real oven, thx.😂

I don't think Kody's gluten-free if he was eating Christine's dinner rolls for 20+ years. The recipe was from Kody's mom. No way they were GF. His parents apparently had a bakery on their ranch back in the day. They more than likely were not making GF b/s. 😂

You just go to the social security office with your paperwork. It isn't expensive. Then you take the paperwork and new social security card to get a new ID.
You have to go through the court system to legally change it.

Why would she use her own money for debt, when Kody can strong arm Janelle out of her 401k?
I've got two places I can tolerate browsing- Costco and Hobby Lobby. 😂 And of course our children managed to be shoppers 😑

I don't think this is the episode i have been talking about with Robyn pushing Truley. This was very mild. So either I remembered it worse than it was, or it was a different episode. I will rewatch to see. Had to be this season though.
IMO Kody & Janelle did have a certain level of love, it was just different And that’s ok. And as we later find out, they were rockin in the bedroom 😂😂😂. If Robyn was not around I think Janelle & Kody would still be together (assuming Kody’s head was not in his ars.)
If Robyn weren't around, the whole family would probably still be together. Meri would still be the legal wife, and Kody wouldn't jeopardize losing half of all his stuff. He and Christine probably wouldn't have had as many issues because he would have been there for her during her pregnancy, birth, and early days with Truley. No one would have felt slighted because, according to them, before Robyn, Kody was equitable with his time. I'm not saying adding Robyn is the only reason their family fell apart, but I think she's the main reason.

Both Janelle and Kody have said they always had a good and active sex life, stating that was never a problem in their relationship.
If it wasn't for Meri 'stopping by' everyday asking for stuff and changing. She would have been in the house on time.
I thought most wars were fought over religion. Except the war over Plague Pass. That’s about $, & possession.
Of course the kids were excited about celebrating JS’s birthday. It’s the only Xmas they knew, for years, since Kody couldn’t afford to, or just didn’t want to, buy them gifts.

I never changed my name after I got married. I just never got around to it and now I'd have to pay to go to court. So, probably won't be doing that 😂. BTW, I've been married since 2006 😂.
The thing about the name change is that legally, that's facilitated with a marriage certificate. I didn't ask if we could just make up our own invented family name, but the legal marriage is what makes it possible to easily change your surname to your spouse's. Changing the name is easy. It's changing it on your credit cards, drivers license, and social security that's the pain.
Without a marriage certificate, you have to go through a legal name change. I vaguely considered it when I realized I couldn't legally change my middle name to my family name at marriage, but you know it was something I would have to research and take actual action on...so that went out the window a long time ago.
It’s not difficult to do, unless you’re a criminal.😂 You just apply to the court to change it, & pay the fees for the court & background check, then attend a hearing in front of a judge, if I’m not mistaken. I only had one case of name change when I was a paralegal, & it’s been a while, but pretty sure that was, & still is, the procedure.
Yes, changing all the other stuff in your life is a pain.
Oh, & you can easily change it back to your maiden name, in the course of a divorce.

On another note, I don't think it's weird with moving that someone might take two years to get all that done.
I did it in less than 3 months, move included. I guess it depends how motivated one is.

That is merely an indication of your own lack of empathy and imagination, even if you dislike someone you only have parasocial relationship with. Are you unaware everyone isn't like you? Are you unaware others are carrying their own load and that you know nothing about?
Meri was the only mortgage that kody would need to be on… if he has a troubled history that would only impact meri’s purchase, may have been why hers was difficult to get approved.

Maybe Janelle intimacy she meant sleeping as in sleeping. Back then, I do believe Kody, who was only married to Robyn for 2 years, was having sex with the other wives at birthdays, valentines, and special holidays to whoever house he was at. So li,e 3 to 5 times a year to wach one so 15 times a year the most. In the last few years of my marriage, I wasn't interested in my husband anymore or he in me. Yet we cuddled while we slept. Or more like. I cuddle him while he was on the end of the bed and I had rhe rest and he couldn't touch meIt was weird to sleep without him for a while
I think people don’t think of Kody and Janelle having a sexual relationship because people can’t see fat people being sexual. I think it’s just a fat phobic thing.

No, it's because Kody is so shallow.
I just have to day that Janelle has always been beautiful, regardless of size. Whether or not Kody ever acknowledged it out , he found her very alluring. Also, I think Janelle likely is only reserved in speech in public(cameras rolling). Behind closed bedroom doors we can only guess. If she wanted to throw down , she certainly could and would.

Janelle and Kooter had a strange friendship. I don’t think they were getting anything on and Janelle was his confidant. I think Janelle was and is a snake. Janelle knew if she didn’t side with Christine she wouldn’t have a good relationship with her kids who were raised by Christine and Meri.
Seemed like Janelle and Kody spent A lot of time talking about Christine and Meri.

I peeped Janelle to be a snake 🐍 this season! From about episode 2, continuing throughout, and all the way to the wedding special, she seemed to inadvertently keep digging herself into a deeper and deeper snake burrow! I also learned she is a complete dumb@$$ who actually F*ed herself, and no way was she ever "financially savvy/family tax lady," so I'm not completely surprised she kept outing herself not realizing she's revealing what a "pick me girl" she was. Oh yeah she also said out loud she never minded all the money and houses etc etc Goblyn got... UMM WHAT WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!
Mykelti was annoying back then as she is now .
