I loved watching that short clip of Hunter playing in the snow with Truely. It made my heart happy. The scenes of the kids playing in the snow were the best part of the episode.
That scene was worth watching.
Janelle's sons are all lovely uncles/brothers, so nice to see ❤

I legit felt like I was watching Kody’s descent into madness..absolutely infuriating. He seemed completely out of touch with how his actions have hurt other people.
He was definitely scary last night. He has convinced himself its okay to be vengeful because its “all Christine and Janelle and their kids fault”. He had the younger girls come over for second Christmas, but not Savannah, wth?

Kody is NEVER responsible for his actions, it's always the other person. They are disloyal and culpable for everything that happened. He is the king. And you what? He has exactly the situation now that he actually worked toward. Robyn has what she worked toward. The other wives did not realize they were wolves in sheep's clothing set to take everything from them.

When Robyn said she would have done anything to have the boys join them for Christmas, I actually screamed at the tv. What happened to, “oh that sounds scary” to invite the boys. It’s infuriating to see her lie and play the victim. Also thank you John for the solid laughs. 😂 I’ve got my eye on you.
Why can’t kody go over there for Xmas? Yes Meri having Eve like always would have been a great way for them to get together he could have seen Savannah and maybe the 2 boys. Why does Robyn answer? Meri was talking to Kody. And then they were PDA in front of Meri and against Robyns wishes in front of Christine’s girls. Three gifts Xmas morning rule gone, earring rule gone, PDA in front of others gone. Didn’t want to make Meri uncomfortable so was self regulating. What in H do they do in front of their kids? Meri hasn’t gotten any since she had a high schooler at home, Christine 2x a year. And he can’t keep his hands off Robyn? You think his kids haven’t noticed all these years?
My eyes and throat were sore after that episode. My eye rolls and screaming “liar” to Robyn every time she spoke.
That's how I always feel about Robyn. I automatically assume she is lying.

Nathan was a joke. He wants compassion for Kody's divorce from Christine. What about Meri? Why isn't he saying, "Look at how you treated my sister-in-law!!"?

Kody bought himself a present. Kody got the kids dirt bikes and he thinks that they will ‘have fun’ racing around Coyote Pass. Kody has not noticed that none of Robyn's kids are the adventurous types.
I think he did it to punish the other kids, like "look if you scrape and bow and kiss my ring I'll spend money on you too".
Not to mention, several yrs ago Dayton nearly lost his eye in the ATV accident that occurred under Kody's watch.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned and emphasized the GLORIOUS GABE saying he didn't feel slighted by Kody and Robyn, but, and I quote, "ABSOLUTELY NEGLECTED." The way Garrison looked at him, and they cut to another scene was perfect.

Yes! And the thing is, in that moment, when Christine is breaking away and suffering a great loss, if Robyn was actually empathetic, she should have understood why Christine needed to have some space for a bit. Christine even followed that up with saying she envisioned them still being able to come together at family events in the future, she just needed some space for a little while. And Robyn being the great empath that she is, just made it all about herself and her kids. How horribly victimised they were by Christine rejecting them. I use to like Robyn in the beginning, now I can’t stand her or Kody.
No, Robyn wants to be the hero. Kody wants to be the victim. Robyn is getting exactly what she wants: "loyal wife" status. Watching her lead the conversations with meri tells me everything I need to know.

Christine said she could see getting together for family events but as for the adults, no not if they were already not close. She never dissed Robyns kids. I don’t know why like the Robyn telling Christine she was lying about her being unhappy in Vegas this line has not been corrected. Why on earth does she now want to be beasties when she didn’t try for several years, had Kody in your bed on her nights, when their daughter Ysabel was in pain letting it go and having him at her house during that time instead now when she is leaving the state 10 hours away? Christine is fine with Robyn in hospital or on zoom for mykelti’s labor. Christine sends Truely over and some other kids. Why isn’t Ari and Sol in Utah overnight at Christine’s? Robyn never considered the other women her kids mom. She just wanted Kody.
Me, me, me. That is the only person Kody cares about. He is like a child going on and on about how he wanted to have a good Christmas. He was sad it wasn't "Christmassy" enough. He is the most selfish person I have ever had the misfortune of knowing about. Most adults make Christmas about children if they are in their lives, Kody only cares about himself.
Also, it's so obvious that the two youngest children are being rolled out to make money. Actually made me sick.

@@liadown9052 I am getting increasingly uncomfortable with children being put on the T.V. and internet. I just think the timing is interesting. Also, the dummy (what we call a binky/pacifier in Ireland) was always going to cause controversy...so why was it allowed to be shown? Either the production thought it would drum up comments...or the parents did. Either that or they're not aware of the issues it can cause a child of that age. Any speech therapist would tell them.
My favorite is when Truly and Janelle's daughter got motorbikes too. Oh wait....they didn't. Only Robyn's kids got motorbikes.
It’s sooooooo annoying to hear Kody keep repeating that he doesn’t/didn’t leave his wives. Yes he did!!!!! He abandoned Meri in every way imaginable, he even told her not to CALL him anymore. How is that not leaving?? You stopped seeing her, then stopped speaking to her, and then told her not to speak to you. He didn’t abandon Christine quite as fully but arguably what he did to her was worse. He only came around to torment her! He left all his wives for Robyn and he ought to be called out on it.
Idk, Kody told Christine he no longer wanted an intimate relationship with her, she felt abandoned enough to box his stuff up and put it in the garage. I suspect there hadn't been a lot of closeness for awhile before his declaration.
I agree. He left their relationship long ago. Then confirmed he would not have an intimate relationship. And Christine should be just fine since Meri was. I do not believe Meri was.

Wow amazing how it was Christine’s fault and now it’s Janelle and Janelle’s kids fault. When is he going to be accountable. He made choices and those choices have consequences. He showed no loyalty to 3 partners and 12 kids. 13 once Mykelty can’t stand it anymore.
Kody has no loyalty the second you aren’t perfect he will discard you not even Robyn and her gold children aren’t safe.
My parents divorced when I was young. Even 20 years later, when I asked my mom if she regretted that marriage, she was so reluctant to say yes because it was so hard to acknowledge that would mean she wouldn't have her children. The glee he has in saying he wishes he hadn't married Christine is sickening. Kids always know when their parent cannot be adult enough to parent them and focus on degrading the other parent. Kootie is just unable to be a parent to his kids, and that was clearly covered up for many years. BUT THE KIDS KNEW!
The wives were involved in saying how great a husband/father Kody was when clearly that was a lie.
This episode was a great example of how Robyn lies about her trying to connect with the kids.. telling Kody she has offered cap and hand (lies) … he believes her without vetting her story and that fuels his rage forwards his kids and other wives. She does whatever she needs to to keep the money train for all her spending.

I think Robyn was completely Meri's idea because she was jealous of Christine. She thought if she did that favor for Kody that she would reap the rewards and look what happened! Remember she was very jealous of Christine in the beginning. And now look this is what she deserves!!!!

@@loveisthekey5737 that's a good point. Christine loved Kody so much and she said her relationship with him was easy before Robyn. I think she used to be the favorite wife.. I also remember Merri said she wasn't jealous of Janelle but was with Christine because there was more romance involved. After Robyn, Christine said she didn't feel special anymore, and things were never the same. What a bizarre turn of events. Be careful what you wish for. Merry was the first one put out to pasture.

I’m so sorry for Savanna. Part of me thought why not load her into the car with Ysabel and Truley, and drop her off at Kody’s, but that would’ve put her into a crappy place, and not fair for her. What a creep Kody is.

I guess it’s how you look at it. Savanna should not be forced (and she was not, thankfully) to spend any time where she’s not invited-but if Kody had a modicum of kindness and consideration for his daughter, she would have been. He does not, and Robyn doesn’t, either.
If they had done that she would’ve been the only one not to get any gifts when they got there.
If Robyn was a good mother and sister-wife, she would advocate for ALL of Kody's children to have been invited over for the festivities. In particular the post-xmas planned gathering with Christine's girls. Most of the children were in town, why not use that opportunity to extend the olive branch, and start the new year reunited, or at least attempting to get the kids together.

Christine also clarified right away that she just needed space from Robyn right now, because it was emotionally difficult because her relationship with Kody fell apart and Robyn’s didn’t. She just wanted to maintain their current level of a relationship because she was going through it and moving to a different state. Robyn ignored Christine for years then when she moves out of state and gets divorced she “wants to work on their relationship”. No that is messed up that she tried that in the first place. She said nothing about the kids. And Christine offered for years to watch the kids, Robyn said no because she didn’t like the way Christine and Janelle parented her kids. She went on a thing about how the other wives will treat your kids badly if the think you are the preferred wife. She slandered Christine and Janelle all over the place.
She (Robbin) straight up lied when she said Christine did not want a relationship with her kids! Christine NEVER said that! I detest Robbin and Baldilocks!

I absolutely agree with you. How can he not sit there watching himself and not see what an idiot he is. I may be wrong and he really sees life the way he explains but I truly find that hard to believe. He can’t afford to lose his job. He has to keep this up and this is the way he does it.

I love your very insightful analysis and I agree with all you said. It hit me hard when Kody said he did NOT want Robyn to see him confessing the very evil thoughts he is having, and how he just wants to be an a------hole. I thought WOW, he just cares about Robyn's opinion of him?? It does not cross his mind how his kids are going to feel when they see this, or the additional pain he is causing them, or that he is now giving them more reason to feel rejected by their father? Also , the contrast struck me of how we see proof of Cody's and Robyns frivolous spending on all those collectibles, paintings, statues, gemstones, figurines, and bountiful gifts; comparing that to Janelle's not even having a place to gather with her kids, so they had to rent a house for Christmas? The injustice is astounding when Janelle was the hard worker and major income producer all those years!
It is so upsetting that janelle was left with nothing. Janelle was very loyal to the entire family and unfortunately she put her trust into kody and robyn that are con artists. Despite this I fully believe janelle will get back on top of finances as she is a worker and planner. Kody and robyn I do not think will fare to well as all the checks have left and they do not work and are big spenders.
She turned it around and was able to help them save Coyote Pass so at least we know she bounced back.

On the plus side Janelle knows where the money has gone and how much. A good lawyer will get that and more even if they have to sell the mansion and art work she knows where the money is.
The fight with Janelle took place 10 days before a Christmas yet Robyn and Kody didn’t comment on any gifts that had been bought for the other kids. No talk about how they were going to get the gifts to them or whether they were going to be held for them. This is an indication that they always planned to create some drama so they didn’t bother to go gift shopping to begin with.
It was clear from the Christmas footage at Robyn’s that he Never intended to spend time with or get Savannah anything for Christmas. Those kids had an overwhelming amount of expensive presents that took time to shop for and wrap. They had nothing for the other children.

I saw another content creator discuss Robyn's artwork and the value of each item. This was just from the preview. After watching the whole episode I was shocked by the amount of art, nick knacks and tchotchkes. I wonder about the value of the dickens village as well.
Dickens village is very expensive if you have that many pieces & accessories. She has a lot of “collectibles”that cost a lot new but resale for a lot less.
Each piece is between $75 to $200 a piece.
The paintings in one corner were worth 25k.
i felt like that episode when christine told her she wasnt interested in being friends with her was very insightful and brave of christine because she knew that robyn was sabotaging her relationship with kody behind her back and she was just done. but i thought she handled that will class. she never mentioned the kids and actually said she looked forward to group family events it was just she didnt want a friendly relationship with her. thats how you handle a toxic person in my opinion.
We don't know if Meri gave gifts to the other kids. We 'do' know that she cares for them all, and has been with many during other get togethers. She sat with Janelle and Gabe at Logan's Wedding, and Logan and Hunter to her to Vegas and dinner for her Birthday.
Truly opened a blanket at the second Christmas. It could have come from Meri.

Can you imagine being Savannah and having your sisters come back to the the B&B from R&K's with presents? OMG - K&R are horrible! Parents need to treat all your children the same, with regard to love and presents. I have always have had a soft spot in my heart for Savannah since the first episode watching her spell her name in a tray full of flour. She was just darling back then, and she is a beautiful young woman today, in every respect.

It feels like the Charles Dickens references and EXPENSIVE village display were inserted into the narrative to represent Kody’s past, present and to lay the groundwork for his fake future self.

I was dying when John gave his impression of Ole Eyeball! I shouldn't have laughed, but all through watching the episode all I could focus on during the Nathan scenes was that. 👁️😉
Kody will only ever parent the children when the mothers present the kids to him or push the relationship on him. If the kids aren't reaching out to him, he's not reaching out to them. If the moms aren't taking the kids to visit him, he isn't going to visit the kids or go to pick them up. Out of sight, out if mind. He is THAT type of father, a donor.

First I thought it was one of those candy pacifiers. After Covid we see children who are delayed or have some skill deficits. There is some reason for keeping the pacifier but no matter what it should not have been filmed because it is hard for the child to be. Criticized.

Just when you think it cant get any worse, here you have a grown man who doesnt even call the majority of his adult children on christmas because its uncomfortable to him, I don't think i've ever seen someone so out of touch with what was really going on before in my life, And Robyn just goes along with everything he tells her about what theyve done, and she's angry because Christine said she needed some time to adjust to her new reality of life by herself - At this point nothing is even shocking that he does or doesnt do, or says or doesnt say - and then next week they're(robyn and kody) like how did we get here...gee I dont have a clue...The part where he was talking about what he really feels like doing and behaving like to the others was both crazy and immature at times, like actually something horrible going on with him that isnt normal, its no wonder people in the family arent buying into it anymore, I wouldnt want to live with it either, and he wonders why his now adult children are staying away from it - "shes not a seed of a favourite wife" is a great quote and is telling of how he operates, it does seem like to punish the wives further he ignores the children they have together too because he knows that breaks their hearts to see their children upset about it - but again, now the adult children are also seeing that for what it is and letting it go, he just doesnt want to take responsibility for any mess he created, and some of the wives still kiss his ass and agree they arent in the wrong and everybody else
A lot of Kody kids are full adults. They have seen & know Kody & it is better to avoid contact with a toxic person, even if it is your father. They have relationships, marriages, other siblings to turn to for support or to visit. Kody is in the distance for years. They have their Mothers who are good support systems for any bio-Kody kids who is being ignored.
I wish they would edit in truth clips after Robyn's lies like when she says Christine said she didn't want a relationship with me or my kids/cut to Christine saying I just need some time.
There is a reality - whether Robyn sees it or not. She thinks Christine didn't want a relationship with her children (we all know that isn't what Christine actually said) but who drove her children down to Flagstaff so they could see their father and grandfather? CHRISTINE!!!! Actions in this case are screaming out loud and I wonder if Kody and Robyn will recognize what she did for them all - Kody & Robyn and ALL the KIDS, not just Robyn's!!

Robyn has spent years bashing the “other kids”. I can not recall the other mothers or children ever bashing Robyn’s kids. These “kids” on the gift exchange fight are adults, several married, college grads, some masters degrees, some with children. Hard to believe they are anywhere near as bad as Robyn paints them.

Thank you for being as angry and frustrated as I was during this episode! I kept yelling at the TV 😂 my lol moment of the whole episode was when Meri says “I feel like the other woman”. She’s so delusional in that moment. To be “the other woman” you have to be in a relationship with one of them. As this point in time she had a “better” relationship with Robyn than Kody. 🙄🤦🏽♀️

I’m confused as to why Meri doesn’t go spend the holidays with her child. Meri says all this stuff in private interviews how she is the third wheel and feels like the other woman. Well then don’t freaking go, instead spend it with your child.
That also really bothers me about Meri! She elects to stay with Kody who repeatedly says he wishes she would go away and Sobyn who is very obviously using her and not spend time with her daughter during the holidays.
A part of me feels like the different families being apart on Christmas is a natural shift that happens a lot in any family. Kids become adults, get married, have their own families. Traditions change. It’s part of a family getting older. In this family, there is a huge range ages. It is unfortunate for the younger ones not to have the big Christmases their older siblings got, but they also get more than 3 presents….

I wish that Royn would stop talking. Whenever her scenes come on, I am so irritated. She made me mad when she said that the boys did not want to come over, because last week, Mary asked who should be invited over for Christmas Eve. Robyn said it would not be "safe" for them to come over. I agree that when I see Robyn's kids I have to forget it's not their fault that they have idiots for parents. They are so damn annoying.
