I loved it when Garrison told Christine.. Wherever she's having Thanksgiving he will be there..... I know it's probably because he loves her cooking lol... but it also tells me how close Janelle's kids are to Christine
Could it also be the fact that during this episode his mom is going on a date with Kody so he's not sure where his mom's relationship with Kody is going. He knows Christine's place is where he's going cause he's not doing anything with Kody even if Kody and Janelle reconnect.

If Kody would have showed up at the rental on Christmas I 'm sure the boys would have talked to him but they won't go to Robyn's.... Neither will Janelle
The older kids were raised by Janelle and Christine, not by Kody….. so course they would remain loyal to the people who raised them. The claim that Kody was a good father when they were young seems to be fast crumbling.

Kody always plays up to the camera. It was not filmed because Janelle did not want 'camera Kody'. She wanted to spend time with 'real Kody'. Janelle learned what she wanted to know. She is not attracted to 'real Kody' either. No tingle. No comfort. She received confirmation that her separation from Kody was the right thing to do. Another baby step towards permanent separation.
It’s crazy to think it took the cameras to lure him in… that they have not had one in person interaction since the fight.

Kody said he only wears slacks when he goes there, I’m sure Robyn loves Mariposa. Telling Meri to live in the storage shed was horrific. And yay for Garrison! Janelles investment in her children’s future paid off in spite of Kodys best efforts to kick them to the curb.
I thought this same thing! Like here Cody goes again when he’s supposed to be trying to reconnect with Janelle and he’s comparing it to when he went with Robin. Like the restaurant conversation when all he did was talk about Christine instead of connecting with Janelle.
Also, I bet all the times janelles dates to that restaurant cancelled were due to Robin somehow interfering.

Meri was right in that Kody could care less about Meri leaving and it was confirmed. The conversation about keeping Meri in the storage barn with the stuff Kody doesn't use or want was telling and insulting. And Robyn continues to show how selfish she is by wanting to keep Meri around in a bad situation.
Contrast the conversation between Meri, Kody and Robyn with Christine and Janelle and the kids. The difference is just so jarring.
Also, it boggles the mind how Kody doesn't talk to Janelle in WEEKS and somehow thinks that one date will fix it? Just clueless.

I'm now convinced that Robyn is the main problem, now. Meri deserves to hear that Kody is done. I think he's even ready to tell her. But Robyn won't let him. I THINK her "Dill-breaker" means that the show wants Kody to date and get a new wife. And Robyn doesn't want that. And she knows Christine is out and Janelle is all but done. Episode 8 session 18 (Oct 8th 2023) took place in beginning of May 2022 since it featured Janelle's birthday so 1 year 3 months behind compared to the start of the season. I really hope we see the conversation that ends things with Meri and Kody this seasons

At a certain point, I've stopped feeling sorry for Meri. She HAS TO know the relationship is over, done, kaput and that Kody doesn't want anything to do with her. Hanging on like this and for this long, whether it is delusional or flat out denial, is on her at this point. Kody and Robyn are 100% awful to her but at some point Meri needs to get a backbone and stand up for herself. She needs to demand the respect she deserves and call those two out on their awful treatment, instead of sugar coating it and excusing them. No one can do that for her and so far she has refused to do it for herself.
Meri seems a bit like a lost soul and confused. I wonder if she lived closer to Leon if it would be easier. She does appear to have a very good friend in Jen so hopefully her spending more time at her b and b will make it easier for her to begin a brand new life that will bring her Happiness. They are strong her along for her money. She needs to cut them off!

Her and Jen have this awful rated G "humor" that is so fake to me, or like I said they're just MEH people. Meri also made a "joke" in a recent live w/Jen that she signs Jen's paycheck. In fact imo that proves her to really be cold, and her real "jokes" are saying rude $#!+ like that. I would NEVER feel inclined to say that as "something funny" to an employer let alone a friend. Meri has been such a fool that signing someone's paycheck is 1 out of 5 things she gives herself agency over, therefore uses it as a "joke" to her supposed best friend.
In last seasons tell all Meri says they hadn’t been a couple since 2021. I wonder if her waiting for Kody is just something for her to say for the show and in reality she’s been done with him since 2021?

Agree, no chance Robyn didn’t give him the heads up. So first thing he does is lie that he doesn’t know why Meri called him over. Since he divorced Meri, he’s been waiting for her to disappear and she’s like a freaking buggar on his finger. Clearly he’s just leaving Robyn to do the stringing along. Meri won’t leave without being drop kicked. Good grief.
Best line in this episode was Garrison saying how he wanted to spend holidays wherever Christine was. Shows how much he respects her and loves her! And the date between Kody and Janelle seemed promising (although we know how their relationship turns out.). He went above and beyond to impress her and seemed really in love. If Robyn weren’t involved I believe they would have made it.
He's pretending, because money is involved, like a male hoe, except he doesn't put out. He's as useless as an udder on a bull. Neither use nor ornament.

I promise last comment, I would love to see all of Christine's, Janelle's and David's kids get together at their home for the Holliday's, that would be awesome, a nice warm fuzzy feeling for the season, then TLC could shift to K&R's with just them and the kids, Robyn screaming at Ariella for spinning around and breaking her bricka bracka to pieces, then a switch to Meri's inn and her surrounded by friends having a great time, that would make my Holidays.
I think Kody is mad at Christine, because when Christine announced she was leaving him, she became the driving force of the show.
John’s love for Nikki reminds me of my husband’s love for me. It makes me smile every time I witness it. It’s super sweet.
I didn’t think Kody could get worse but his reaction to Meri leaving… 😤 😡 He’s the most narcissistic husband. He keeps Meri around to keep Robyn around for him. He literally doesn’t care he’s WASTING another human’s life.
It’s so weird that people would think they’re going to cancel this show. They did not cancel the Duggar’s until Josh was arrested for CSA images even though they knew he had SA’ed his sisters, and a babysitter, for most of the show. The only thing TLC cares about is money.

Mykelti and Tony turn a blind eye to Kody and Robyn's inactions quite often. I would love to hear how okay Mykelti would be if Tony was late to Avalon's wedding or skip out on her surgery. She also said she didn't want to say who said what in the text exchange and now we know why. My, my Robyn!

They should have had a family meeting and really ironed out every detail before welcoming robyn, her kids, and her debt and how things were to be handled. From the very beginning Robyn lived in a sepate house, a better house im sure that the others paid for. Robyn never made any effort to have a relationship with the kids and she caused oroblems with the entire family. Robyn is the only one that benefitted from this mess and she contributed nothing.
Kody jumped the gun with Robyn so he was all in & did not want to hear the wives vote her out. With the 3 kids & significant debt, she seemed like a hard NO.
