A lot of them are just disrespectful A-holes, and when I watch them, I cringe. Sometimes, I even take the government offical's side, and hope they arrest the guy for harassment. It takes a person with the right mixture of genuine respect for others, genuine love of country, and good intentions, and of course, intelligence, and Long Island Audit knows his stuff. He's on point, and I nothing but respect for him. He puts himself at risk to make sure that the people that walk in after him, aren't met with tyrannical douchebags on a power trip. If she had from the get go told everyone including collegue ''1st amendment he has the right'' like i have seen on at least one video of another auditor she would perhaps qualify for ''amazing and seriously setting the bar'', not here, just a coward pig with a smile.

She immediately went to "finding out what their policy is" All I hear is a big case of officer "but " I know you are doing nothing illegal "but " I know you have the right to do this "but" There is no but when it comes to rights that shall not be infringed.
Well at least Officer Malarkey was a whole lot more professional and understanding and less condescending than the male officer, Romero or whatever his name is.
Sean, this might be one of the most quintessential audits ever. Covers so much 1AA ground so well. Really highlights the importance of these audits and why it is more than an entertaining video. The realest reason as to why this exercise is necessary. Thank you.
I laughed out loud when Sean said, "Respectfully, Malarkey..." - It took me aback for a split second, like he was respectfully telling her she was full of it!
It’s always funny to hear people say “our” building rather than the building. They get too attached to these buildings and think the buildings are their personal universe.
That's not true at all. Hiring the company who hires people who physically can't do their job is a joke. 3rd party hiring is supposed to remove bias from the job. I've worked private security in multiple sectors, to include high threat areas like Afghanistan and nuclear and secret facilities. All 3rd party. This way, the people who run the facility cannot directly control security. Most loss or security threats happen from within and with 3rd party security this greatly helps mitigate breaches. This guy and his company is just a joke. I bet he has never undergone de-escalation training, insider threat training (typically mandatory for government facilities). It also appears he is wearing body armor while needing a cane. I bet that violates what medical issue he has and the company employing is jeopardizing the principals security and safety as well as tax payer dollars if he files a claim against them for his job exasperating his injury.
The fact that he's being almost stoic make them doubt how to react even tho they mad. Its all about vibration(feedback). Thats why poeple live some cops and dont like others . Most of the time ,cops poeple like are using stoïcism and act nicely. But its very hard to act like that cause we got our EGO . He's funny anyway .
May I point out an interesting fact: The average local non-daily newspaper in this country has 8,125 subscribers. The average daily newspaper has 34,515 subscribers. When you figure there are 7,000+ non-dailies and 1,408 dailies, that makes an average circulation of 12,544 for each newspaper in this country. You can legitimately state that you have three times as many subscribers as the average US newspaper, so you are every bit as entitled to press status as anyone else.
May I point out the fact that Orange sign on the door says “Even tho we are aware of new CDC guidelines it is still MANDATORY to wear masks in this building”. Yet there’s quite a few employees not wearing them.
Next time someone locks any door, IMMEDIATELY CALL THE FIRE MARSHALL OR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND REPORT THEM, AS IT IS ILLEGAL TO LOCK ANY EGRESS DOOR ON ANY BUILDING DESIGNATED FOR PUBLIC USE, EXCEPT DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS.
Sean I can watch only so many of your videos at a time. I cannot stand it. The ignorance of public servants. It is hard to believe. They hate being held to account. They don’t want transparency. The First Amendment is trampled on by these ignorant clowns.
ITA…very difficult to watch. My tolerance for stupidity is already very low but couple that with witnessing the vitriol and it becomes almost too much. Kudos to Sean!!!!
Turn off their cameras? NO. They don't put your information on the internet. Honest! Just ask them. Wait that was the same thing Social Security said just before they found out one of their staff SOLD 30 million records to private companies.
For people who don't want to be on camera they spend a hell of a lot time putting themselves in front of Sean's. That was a building seriously full with the most Karen's and Darren's. Sean must be one of the most calm relaxed and laid back Auditors around.
I REALLY like the auditor's calm, nonconfrontational demeanor. This is not supposed to be about scaring people, tweaking cops, causing problems. It is about protecting our constitutional rights. This fellow really does a nice job with this.
Just about every single person in that building was triggered by a camera yet they're sitting there being video taped by their government all day and they don't say a word
These public employees should be required to take a test on the Constitution once a year and they should be suspended without pay until they pass. That would wake them up.
They lie like many do here, c'mon I was taught this in 5 the Civics and pledged an oath every day to uphold it for 5 years of schooling, these well paid employees of our government know more than me assuredly.
Another great audit by this auditor. He is always on the money with his non confrontational demeanor and yet retains his backbone and does not let anyone intimidate him with threats. He also stays on point and does not get dragged off into a bunch of minutia with numerous hypothetical scenarios and what if’s. He controls the conversation from beginning to end calmly and courteously. One of the best on UA-cam.
You always handle your audits so well. You're always respectful and doing everything within your rights. Keep doing what you're doing or soon we won't have these rights
They should have to take a test which has questions of an objective nature---about fifty or so. Failure would mean retaking the test until they pass it. If they cannot demonstrate actual understanding of the subject--find another job. Most won't pass as they are not smart enough. These folks are low IQ.
You know it’s funny you say that because I just had training on LBGQ and sexual behavior in the workplace and for some reason I thought this is really just as important.
Sadly I don't think the real facts penetrated the thick skulls of any of those public servants. They will not change behavior down the road. It's pathetic.
I felt really bad for her when Sean was talking to the other woman, Julie, and Rebecca was just standing there. She clearly knew that Julie needed to stand down but was afraid to say anything. It would have been great to see her further de-escalate the situation by getting Julie to stand down, but who knows what the power dynamics in that office are.
@@user-427.commodore Right? She was so phony saying she was trying to help both parties. Her and that uneducated pr*ck of a male officer were clearly siding with the public employees.
Officer Malarkey showed lack of knowledge and try to push Sean to prevent him from doing the activities, but I recognize her demeanor was much better than the other officer. She really de'escalete the situation and was respectful, wish is something we can applaud.
Especially when she didn't tell him when his job is done. She said when you get finished then you can leave. Sometimes Shawn takes things wrong. But I love how he stands up for his rights.
Good Lord an entire gaggle of ignorant public servants WHO NEED TO GET BACK TO WORK 👈🏻 Stop bullying innocent civilians who are engaged in a 1st Amendment activity !! An entire reEducation needs to be dealt to these servants 👈🏻 Excellent auditing and educating!
"I know you have the right, but they feel uncomfortable." "I'm asking you to forget about the law and be considerate." Ohhh, the hypocrisy of these police officers... But when we ask them to do the same, they're quick to ignore our pleas.
Idk I kind of like that argument, since he's recognizing the right to do what he's doing and pleading with the auditor on a human level. At that point he's not bullying with threats and he's just asking as a regular citizen. If it was not in such an antagonistic context, it would be a reasonable request.
Malarkey is full of malarkey and was totally passive~aggressive towards, Sean. Her negitive energy poured from her. If there wasn't any cameras, she would have went full out ham.
Well done officer Malarky! It’s so nice seeing a professional on duty. She kept control on the situation and continuously deescalated the situation a few times. Officer Malarky should be a higher rank.
This video is exactly why the first amendment audit community is so important. The public servants have forgotten who they serve, and the oath that is required to obtain their positions. Private citizens will never have to answer to public servants unless a law is broken. On the contratery, Public servants have a duty to always answer and obey law-bidding, private citizens. I do love the topic of decency, thou. Is tax law decent? Does any private citizen feel like they were treated decently, at any point, when they pay their taxes? Taxes that give each one of these individuals a place of employment. All of these public servants need to start looking for work in the private sector
Couldn't agree more. If I don't pay my "share" they steal it or put me in a cage. Look at the palaces they build to themselves. Imagine if you had to pay for your neighbors marble countertops.... would you ?
Julie all I have to say is wow. The fact you have a job in the publics eye for this long is a prize on its own. so unprofessional and calling the cops for no reason. jeez another education dished out, well done lol
thousands of useless public servants doing nothing the whole day on the backs of hard working tax payers Julie is a perfect example.... Jerry he can not do this.. Jerryyyyy
Sean did not demean anyone, he is polite and respectful at all times. To be honest I don't know how he keeps so calm. I don't know if I could do that. Thank you Sean Paul.
She was an absolute child, just parroting his words back to him, "maybe you should find a new job". How old are you? I don't know how he maintained his patience, I'd have laughed in her face.

She starts echoing her colleague once he gets more authoritative confrontational while being unlawful then deflates back to friendly mode soon as she gets called out, that's not what comes to mind when you think of amazing things or ''seriously setting the bar''.
If she had from the get go told everyone including collegue ''1st amendment he has the right'' like i have seen on at least one video of another auditor she would perhaps qualify for ''amazing and seriously setting the bar'', not here, just a coward pig with a smile.

The disabled, elderly security guard is a joke. Any city hall who hires 3rd party security has a corrupt budget.
I will corrupt you. Lol
