While I was exercising my first amendment right to film in public. The receptionist, security and library director all became hostile and attempted to violate my rights. They called the south hampton police insisting I was violating "policy" I explained forcefully and respectfully that policy doesn't trump the constitution of the United States. After speaking with her chief the SGT. Relayed to the director that I was withing my rights and promptly left. Everyone in the situation was educated. Another win for the constitution!

She's a Karen that our tax dollars go to. And a excellent source of entertainment from Long Island Audit period.
I'm retired, not much longer to live. Trying to get to 103 years old at least.
I have no job, thank goodness.
Look at all of his videos!
NEVER ONCE has he thrown a fit, been rude. Always been very professional to highest degree known to mankind!
He's just showing all of us what our tax dollars are spent on.
Total idiots throwing a fit!
Because of a CAMERA?
You got to be kidding me!
When those public buildings have cameras all over the place.
What's up with that?, and their thought process coming to a conclusion of throwing's fits in front of the public with our tax dollars.
We Seniors citizens love this guy!
It shows us the ignorance that is going with our tax dollars.
I’d donate if I could but thank you so much. Ur teaching in half hour what we should be learning in years of school
I used to think these audits were silly, but the very idea that someone would suggest that a public library's policy has more weight than the United States Constitution is both laughable and sickening.
100% LIA is the one i support most cause alot off auditors give them a bad name yelling and screaming but he is calm to very end which makes that much more satisfying.
the fact she claimed HE was causing disturbance yet shes running around yellibng telling every staff member AND guest at library... YOU are literally disturbing them especially when they have only 2 hours HAHAHAHA... so many ignorant examples like alwatys with these ppl.
And that’s the point majority of Americans can’t even name 3 amendments were so caught up on being the worlds best country we’re litterally watching all our freedoms get stripped away these audits remind people we still have a constitution and rights not to be infringed upon
Im with you brother.........the winds are changing. I thought the same thing but things are becoming stupid. I've learned to stop trusting police at any capacity. Either local, state, or especially federal. They're all enemies of the state. Their only goal is to get convictions in court especially threw plea deals which make prosecuting attorneys look good. Its a true machine. The thin blue line........thats garbage.
The whole point of the constitution is to not allow these little officials to set up their own kingdoms.
Wow such power they are showing.. 4 cops for a person with a camera in a public place.. f*cking pigs
These audits expose a deeper problem with the society. So many people hate to hear that they're wrong about anything and act like children when they do. This mindset is everywhere now. We need to get the word out that it's not an offense or disrespect to be corrected, challenged or told that you're wrong.
Very well said.
This was a totally missed opportunity for all involved to learn something.
Sadly, the director does not see it that way.
Those Damned Rights!
Spot on.
Don’t forget the Karen’s and darens at dc capital demanding to see the manager 01/06/2021 bunch of bootlickers
Notice how they're all masked up. The only reason someone would wear a face mask in a public library, outside of Halloween, would be if they were a criminal. The police are committing a SERIOUS felony by carrying a firearm and concealing their phase.
The nasty library director actually started to panic when she first realised she wasn't going to get her way.
frantically going around to each patron to try to get a reaction out of them and create fear
Lmao!!
she was mad because you didn’t ask her permission to film .

This is interesting. As a former police officer I can tell you that we are trained to stand a certain way, and to present ourselves in a certain way, and to speak in a certain manner because it has a psychological effect on most people, and will cause them to subliminally (mostly) comply in general. Once you have an obedient citizen you can do just about whatever you want. I watch all of your videos, and today I realized that when you request "name and badge number" it has the same psychological effect on most/many police officers. Once they comply to your request it's like you are taking the power away from them. They know they're going to be held accountable, and that THEY work for YOU, the public. Being compelled to speak their identifying information (name and badge number) makes them know they do not have the control they thought they had. I like this. We can use some of the same tactics they use to keep ourselves safe. Thanks for the videos!
Really liked your thoughts on this video!
I imagine the training. "Take control from the beginning". Makes sense. The uniforms, arms and badges set people back. Good point. They are not comfortable on their heels. Ask questions, don't answer and watch the smoke come out of their ears. Sad fact. Those who have dealt with them the most know what lying scumbags they can be.
You sound like a sociopath my guy. “Once you have an obedient citizen you can do just about whatever you want”
@@Nonflushableturd I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Simply pointed out the training. Sounds like he got out before he was drummed out. It does take a sociopath to take joy in ruining lives.
Thanks for sharing this perspective. I often think that the police are trained to view the public in a adversarial way and if that's true it is a crying shame.🎶🐦✌🏼
You know the system is broken when an officer asks to see a copy of the constitution to see what it says.
Lmao most police officers don't know what the constitution states n some blantonly break em anyway
Not just an officer but a “sergeant. Such a shame really..

I think she was just asking him to say it out loud for the Karen and/or rhetorical question as in “oh really, you know the first amendment ? Is that right ? Good on ya mr citizen ! 👏 🎉
They're just so stupid. Cameras are everywhere. How is it that cops are still making the same stupid mistakes? Oh because there's no consequences when they act stupid. Ftp
When Sean said “shhh”, I almost hit the floor!!
To think that they work in a library but still remain uneducated is the real atrocity here 🙄

That librarian was running around riling people up to protect her fragile ego
I know and she should have minded her own business.
I mean c'mon, she does work for that private company 'The Public Library' so she should expect total control of who comes in and what they do, right? It's amazing how so many people don't understand why the attitude of that glorified librarian is a terrible thing in the fight to protect our freedoms established in the constitution.

I think most of the people there heard the drama and understood what LIA was doing was actually to their benefit (except homeboy in the blue jacket)
Everyone was like "mkay"
An apology was in order from the director and her bodyguard. Great Audit 👍
We need to find out who is creating these unconstitutional policies and hold them accountable. We need to go to the source.
Maybe the company that installed the video cameras in the Library?
True
60 -80 years ago there were extremely unconstitutional policies all over the country that lasted for decades. So not surprising it still goes on.
My guess is Democrats
I was thinking the same thing.
I never cease to marvel how many “public servants” seem to think the police are there to enforce their policies, rather than the law.
While that’s sad, the real tragedy is that seemingly almost all LEO believe that too.
Public workers are barely sentient - they don't even function on the level of higher vertebrates.
You should expect nothing less of things with the intelligence of a houseplant.
They are Lil dictators and they think they can drum up any policy and we the public have to obey. If it's not law, then screw the policies these dictators put up
@Emma It will be very instructive to see how some of these court cases pan out. You do make a valid point, but I think it would be hard to get a conviction against someone quietly filming in public, whether in a sidewalk or in a library. Time will tell.
@Emma You are right. There are limited forums such as public squares and sidewalks. You are also right mentioning time place and manner restrictions in certain public areas and buildings concerning the first Amendment. Those time place and manner conditions are TIME: When public spaces are open to the public access. Parks, other public outdoor areas MAY be closed during set times of the day /night. TIME refers to the hours in which the library is open to the public. The Library was open for business. Place: The legal condition refers to wherever the public is allowed to go. The public, meaning ANY person, is allowed to be there. If the public is allowed to be there, so is the PRESS. Manner: Not making any intentional actions to disrupt the business of the building. Quietly recording is NOT a disruption of business. The justification is the number of cameras within the building itself. If the library can record you, you can record the building and it's employees and patrons. That should satisfy the requirements of time, place and manner qualifications. Additionally, as it was mentioned in the video, the Constitution takes precedence over ANY policy AND, by definition, the police are LAW ENFORCEMENT, NOT policy enforcement. Nowhere, not EVER, has policy enforcement been the duty of police. Their job is to enforce the LAW.
It's always fascinating how many government bureaucrats think they can type out a letter that magically removes constitutional rights.
lol so true, Does everyone see how that starts a snowball of problems and delusions
It happens all of the time with Congress and Executive edicts or garbage from Departments such as AFT and apparently the FIB when it comes to politics.
No...what's amazing is the number of people that let them get by with it time after time...
That's how fascism starts, arbitrary rules and attempts of silencing or yelling over to block anyone else to be able to hear you.
They brought it out like Moses wrote it. Lol😂😂😂
So weird. They say they're concerned for everyone elses safety, then run around the library telling everyone they shouldn't feel safe.

This is definetly one of the best audits I've seen. Your calmness as you walked them all through the process was incredible. Job well done. Alot of butt hurt people walking around over there.
@Rodney Iskander The "security guard" you mean? Yeah, I would agree.
Look at how he was groveling for that older White woman. I mean, I get that older married White broads are promiscuous and don't hesitate hugging or wrapping their arms around other guys DESPITE being married, but for she to do that in that particular setting -- public library -- is plain inappropriate.
Libraries are frequented by families with children. And I'm sorry, but no child should have to see some younger Black security guard and an older White woman (library director) hit it off. I say that both should be fired. Because if they're touching each other and violating their own social distancing protocols on camera (see 3:06 and 18:00), then they have no place running the library. Anyone know whether this library director is married? I would be embarrassed if my wife behaved in that manner.

What is troubling is the fact that the police don’t seem to understand, even when it is explained to them over and over, that policy doesn’t trump the U.S. Constitution. Keep up the good work.
No they don't get it !
There are 5 common reactions.
1. I didn't give you permission to film me
2. You have no permit
3. Our policy states you can't film off public access ( its on plain view people)
4. What's your name? What's your business?
5. I'm calling the Cops
@Emma you are really misinformed. yelling anywhere public, library or not is considered disorderly conduct..... which is a law. filming peacefully is not that. Nice try though
It’s not that they don’t understand, it’s that they don’t want to understand. If cops know the law, then they can’t claim to be acting in good faith. Law enforcement is the only career I know of where the less you know about what you are paid to do, the better off you are. If that’s not absolutely insane, I don’t know what is.
@Emma there is such a thing as disorderly conduct in a public library, but not for cursing. To say can you curse out loud is irrelevant. Can you scream ala ak bar, hail Satan, or glory to God? That’s freedom of speech AND freedom of religion, correct? No, you cannot. There are what are known as traditional public forums for such things, but the library is not that forum, but could they have a policy that says no Bible reading, no Quran reading, no Torah reading? In Pyongyang, yes, but in Anywhere, USA, of course not. The right to privacy is not one of those “limited public forums” you are talking about. A public restroom is a good example. It’s simple, if you see surveillance cameras, then there is no expectation of privacy. Have you ever seen a surveillance camera in a public restroom or a fitting room? Are you allowed to peek under a bathroom stall, or into a dressing room? No. A public library has a long standing tradition of public cooperation, the peace and quiet, and it’s a normal expectation of the public that it is such, but if is established that the public is allowed access and the public can view it with their own eyes and hear it with their own ears, then it can be recorded. Surely you don’t expect to be blindfolded and wear earplugs when entering a public library. A person peacefully photographing a publicly funded facility, regardless of whether their actions are not welcome, is not, nor can it be construed as disruptive. It is no more disruptive than the cameras mounted in the ceiling, peacefully recording the public.
This all started with the refusal to give a proper name. Once they realized they could not lawfully demand his name and could not refuse service, that just infuriated them, so they went to the illogical video recording and they were like a dog on a bone and could not see the unconstitutionality of the policy. You can write anything you want as a policy, but if it is publicly funded and publicly accessible, then it cannot infringe on constitutional rights. You can put a sign on your treehouse, “No Boys Allowed,” but if taxpayers pay for the treehouse, then your sign means nothing.
Didn’t mean to go on for so long, but I hope it helps you understand.
Love how quiet and respectful you are, truly a different level of auditor.

Nothing is funnier than the library director running around at the end going out of her way to stir everyone up and tell them about you and that they "have no right to privacy I guess" flippantly, doing nothing to deescalate the situation or calm other visitors.
Sean is a straight savage and is an inspiration to prove what the 1st Amendment is all about. I really admire what you do and how you handle yourself
Savage foreal
Fore😂😂😂😂😂
Foreal🎉🎉🎉🎉
I, as a Dane, really envy your 1st Amendment! One would think that freedom of speech is protected in a constitution such as ours, but I can tell you that’s far from the truth. Stand up for your constitutional rights at all costs and feel blessed!
Amazing how government employees feel free to make and try to enforce unlawful 'policies'.
Like when they used to enforce “whites only” policies, it was found to be unconstitutional under the 14th amendment.
I feel like as an American to work in a public building you need to ace the Constitution test. Why the hell did I need to ace it in middle school when old people today can’t even recite or even remember the 1st amendment
These people are worried about everyone’s privacy, yet they make everyone sign in to enter!
That library director is so pissed. She’s trying to stir up problems.
This woman is the Queen of Karen’s! This library needs more follow ups in the future.
You sir are a great Auditor.
Agreed!
They forget they work for the public and act rude and nasty to the citizens they serve. Disturbing.
@@onionhead5780 It seem like every public sector has adopted disrespectful expressions toward the people that pay them. Law enforcement, libraries, and the court system. How do the citizens elect public officials that make their life miserable? The very humans that enforce unjust laws go home to family and friends that are affecting by the laws that they enforce daily at work. I don't know actually what the end result of all the dysfunctional behavior will be but I know it will not be pleasant.
Agreed. She is the Queen of Karen. When she walk away full of shame just made my day so is the Security Guard with his pants half down. That Security guard need a new pants.
This was one of the best fails of public servants. Karen's and all.
My favorite is when a cop tells you to stay here and you just nonchalantly walk away. ☺️
Those people are obnoxious. She's just upset cause she didn't get her way. I hate when the authorities put a spin on what's really going on. The public is not informed. And wow does she have a big mouth. Lol. You were great and very professional. 💖
very true, except for the "great,"and the "professional,"part.
I feel he could have been far more polite and professional when addressing the rude library director
@@explorerextraordinaire5472 You're kidding right?
I'd hate to be the Librarian's husband!

I absolutelly LOVE the mixture of anger, confision and horror on the tyrant's faces, once they realize that they picked a fight with the wrong person.
Big thumbs up to your channel!!
A public library, which is the United States's symbol of the First Amendment. The right to be able to say, speak and do... it's just bizarre! that they would be so against it
This was a really great one.
You must have the patience of a saint. How come you're always the most reasonable person in any given interaction?
I like what you do - it's much appreciated! ❤
This man is a top tier auditor ! I used to only watch Amagansett press until I came across this man’s videos . We need to share these videos !
The best! IMHO
Denver Metro Audits is another great channel too
This guy > Amagansett Press
@@christopherortego1647 so is Press NH audits and SLO audits
And, ofc, SGV
Both of them do amazing work
The world has gone to sh*t. People have ridiculous control issues.
Nah but people be sensitive af
Corporations and government have usurped so much agency from people that they seem punch down on anyone doing something they dislike just for a little moment of endorphin rush to make their miserable existences tolerable.
@@fs127 so true. The Church of Bootlickers has only reinforced this behavior.
This is a great audit. You're exposing the early signs of "Hybrid Communism." It's a blend of Democracy and Socialism thats been implemented since Covid19, and they're conditioning people, just as they did after the 9/11 tragedy. Things are only going to get worse.
@@SouthFlBankFishing 100% AGREE !
I love how hard they’re trying to find something to violate your rights 😂
Such a peaceful audit. You articulated your rights perfectly and didn’t let them rile you up. Way to go!
Funny how you claim to support "rights" yet you don a face covering

When the officer asks you if you have it in writing and you refer her to a copy of the “Constitution of the United States” That was beautiful
What a waste of police resources. 4 officers for a man with a camera.
This library needs to be pounded with auditors until they get it.
When they stopped teaching the Constitution in school, this is what happens. Let's keep what little freedom we have. Thank you Sean.
This should have 10,000 likes
I think people are well aware of their rights, even to a degree of excess. Unfortunately, we don’t seem to recognize the rights of others; that our feelings don’t trump their rights.
Anybody can write something on a paper and call it a policy. If the policy said whites only, everyone would be aware that although it’s a policy, it cannot be lawfully enforced. But for some reason, public photography seems to escape the rationale of a large proportion of the population, right up until it’s them (like the old man) recording in public. Wicked Witch of the West didn’t see a problem with that. 🤔
What little freedom? I mean let’s be honest we have a lot of
Freedom. There some issues with people not knowing every single right we have, but we’re still pretty free.
They haven’t stopped teaching the Constitution in school. Not sure where you live, but both my kids were taught the Constitution at the elementary, middle, and high-school level, with age-appropriate content in each. Additionally, high school seniors have to take Government as well, which covers the Constitution again, as well as how local, state, and federal governments function. They’re even taught the state constitution.
The problem is that people don’t take advantage of the education they’re given and popular youth culture treats ignorance as something cool and academic success as something for nerds and losers. Also, our poorly-funded schools lack the resources necessary to teach effectively to all types of learners. That’s why we continue to graduate illiterate kids with little understanding of the world in which they live, the Constitution included.
The US Constitution is taught in schools in both US history and government classes. Those subjects were covered at all levels in public schools.
Many state constitutions duplicate the US Constitution. Therefore, those rights are taught again in state history classes.
The US constitution is magnificent.. it’s like the finger of God..
The way she stormed off leaving her team hanging😂
Why?😮
I love how they’re just standing around reading the policy. They’re just staring at it and staring at it as if some great mystery will be revealed.
Lmao right
i mean, sean keeps ignoring it demonstratively and saying its irrelevant. haha. instead of just reading the first ammendment which is like a 4 second read, they got 6 eyes on a policy paper. lol
Theyre trying to summon the founding fathers from the afterlife to tell Sean that the 1st amendment was a mistake
When you said hand the constitution to the sgt. That was straight savage lmao
the director expects all of her employees to submit to her, but when a member of the public won't submit, she throws a temper tantrum.
Notice how the cops NEVER said "sorry, you are right" but rather just walked away.
... & they're sour & salty! Same as the staff! Instead of admitting they learned something new... they NEVER apologize & are completely saturated by disdain & resentment! I guess ppl's true colors shine thru... even that old-timer who chimed in 😆
I should clarify... police weren't actually that bad in this video... just ignorant.
This guy is being an ass !
@@LanceSolo72 Ignorance is not a free pass in every situation. When you are ignorant of the very principles required by your job, that makes you bad.
@@cooganalaska3249 that's all I meant. Fr what I remember, they just weren't as tyrannical as usual is all.
You handled yourself excellently here today. Really impressed and good on you to keep that low and slow cadence in your voice patterns as much as possible. Like the UA-cam comment that guy pointed out when you ask for their name and badge I do agree with him it has a psychological effect on the situation instead of a normal citizen sometimes starting off their interaction by starting to talk fast and elevating their voice. The difference in approach I really think helps control these situations instead of the cops just dominating you and getting physical with you. Sometimes they will push you around regardless if they are enough of a pig but these ones actually seemed to let you talk and listened for the most part. It’s pretty sad though to see our public servants constantly acting rude and refusing to listen and then accommodate you after they have been informed of their miss understandings of laws. I’m sure some blame does go to the management even above the directors level as I am sure they are trained to that policy but they are being trained to a policy that vilolates the public’s rights. It takes a strong person to take a step back willing to say “wait a minute this guy has a point, I know this is a public space and in public spaces you have no right to privacy so this policy is legitimately in odds with the constitution so it must be wrong, oops silly me”. Very fascinating to see this play out in so many different ways.
A great follow up at 21:45 would have been, "does all this count against my two-hour limit?" 😅 What a group of clowns, especially that library director.
Someone needs to re- audit everyone of these a few months later and see what happens!
Other audits do sometimes
Agreed
the fact she claimed he was causing disturbance yet shes running around yellibng telling every staff member AND guest at library... you are literally disturbing them when they have only 2 hours HAHAHAHA... ontop of using a random guys "rights" as a guilt trip attempt... typical narccist behavior i would know my mom acted like that lady growing up never wrong never allowed logic to enter the convo hypocritical etc... you are right they ned double or triple audits months later... shit we as citizens should legally form a govt group of us that can review and remove ppl like her and appoint ppl that are educated and dont try to violate ppl like this... there can still be as many audits as ppl want to do and i encourage that it goes both ways.
I was thinking the same thing. It has to be Sean though
It's evident to me that people are learning very fast. Post offices especially
That library director needs to be reprimanded for her behavior and after she got educated on the first amendment she went around to every person in the library to single you out as if you were doing something wrong. Smh the behavior she had was unbelievable.
and should be fired
Childish frankly.
"Excuse me but there's an interloper here taking pictures - I just wanted you to be aware"

It’s amazing how police officers and public building employees don’t know our constitution rights 🤦
The cops didnt know they're 1st amendment Constitutional rights even when explained to them in repetition. "Especially the Sargent"
He should have had made the house boy before opening his mouth
@@glen5599 She didn't WANT to hear it and only backed off when she knew she would lose any further pressure on Sean. I am disappointed the cops rather stomp on our rights than upset a librarian. Sheesh, no wonder people don't like cops.
Because the government doesn't take 10 minutes to tell them. Then the staff get job and they don't care since it's hard to fire government employees.
They know. They hate our rights. It’s pretty obvious.
The Library Director never for one second considered that she might be wrong and just continued to try to exercise her "power" over others. A real tyrant.
Bonafide nut!!
Thats the modus operandi of these kind of people. They never stop to think. Theyre in their little bubble of power and authority, happy and content and expecting everyone to obey them.
@@rykehuss3435 Yes and she was warning the other patrons, "Apparently we don't have a right to privacy here" like she had lost a right to privacy when in reality she was politely educated. Not understanding that there is no right to privacy in public was a revelation of a horror. The shock, the fear, and then the push back tantrum.
