- I went to the Glassboro Post Office to peacefully exercise my rights because another activist was unlawfully arrested by the Glassboro Police Department based on their lack of education of the law and the lies told by the Post Master Tom Lions. I went there to investigate and this is what I found…

This wanker told a boldfaced lie to the police, and actually tried to instil fear into his customers by telling them you're filming, which could easily have resulted in violent reactions from customers. He is irrational and hysterical. Perhaps it is his time of the month.
The postmaster clearly gave false statement to the police and should be criminally charged.
If an auditor made a false statement to police, its jail 101 all over. Always a double standard.
And fired.
Maybe it was the blue shirt, maybe it was the shaved head, maybe it was the entitlement and condescension, maybe it was getting to repeatedly make false charges without repercussions, but something tells me that guy was an ex cop.
It was enough of a false statement to have the journalist unjustly arrested.

The postmaster is not just condescending and arrogant but also severely uneducated of the laws that are directly related to his job. He needs to be fired immediately.

He wants to hurt people through the actions of the policy enforcers, hence why he is dishonest and VERY passive aggressive.

I called the post office in Glassboro and Tom Lions actually answered. I said, "I am an independent journalist from Alabama. If I come to Glassboro, will I be mistreated at the post office?" There was a pause, then he said, "Have a good day." He hung up, then called back a few minutes later. He said, "Did you get your answer?" I said, "No, you did not answer." He said, "Let me ask you a question: what is your favorite movie?" This guy really should not be in ANY position of authority. Sean, keep up the AMAZING work!

We witnessed a Post Master blatantly lie to the police and he is in charge of one of our most private and personal information, address, letters written in confidence and packages. How are we supposed to trust this guy. I'm pretty sure he had to take a civil service exam to obtain this position. It's very important to be trusted in this position.

I love how the postmaster decided to display the Poster 7 and didn't post it clearly where the public could see it easily and accessible.
Another audit might be necessary to make sure the poster 7 was properly posted and displayed after this event and not left 7 ft in the air on a clipboard that nobody can see or read. It should be posted at eye level, clearly readable.

Apart from making a false report to the police, he also is guilty of slander.
At 22:00, this so-called “warning the customer” is outright slander where he is incriminating the journalist to the woman.
He even does it at 33:00 in public (note: the journalist refers to “incitement”, but it actually is “slander”).
These two clear misdimeanors/felonies should be sufficient grounds for firing the postmaster.

Poster 7 is based on statute. The postmaster created a disturbance and interferes with customers doing business. He violated the law. My opinion, he should be fired.
@@charlesandrews2419 I believe a person's job should be sacrosanct, unavailable to the whims of passing winds. But still, there should have been repercussions. I have not yet viewed his interaction with the Mama Bear arrest, but it seems similar in tone. A reprimand at least, demotion, unpaid time off, or transfer to a non-supervisory position are options I would like to have seen exercised.

I think you do understand that Poster 7 represents actual US law. The law and rules do also apply to the Postmaster and employees. They may not interfere with the legal activities of the public including the auditor. This Postmaster was not presently trained or qualified for his job and is a liability to citizens. Demotion with training may well be appropriate. Perhaps we can also agree that this type of position should require bonding. If he were unable to maintain a bond, this problem could be eliminated.

That postmaster doesn't realize that there has to be intent to film credit card info. Just filming doesn't mean you are getting CC info. Carrying a gun is not against the law but pulling it out and holding it against someones head is against the law. The post office has about 10 cameras pointed directly at the check out window and whoever has access to those cameras also can see all the credit cards and addresses for everyone who comes to the post office. Just ridiculous for a public servant.

Shopping for under clothes and being recorded... even hospital rooms have cameras now because of mismanagement of health care. Way back when I had my babies, they didn't allow certain things to be video recorded... now it's everything goes. As a 30 year postal employee I’ve never met a postmaster that wasn’t a bully or a liar. They will lie to your face while looking you dead in the eye. That goes for most of the supervisors also. Thankfully the postal unions are strong and puts these guys in check!

I am starting to think LIA gets it the worst because he's so polite. Which really says something about these "authority" figures. Just bullies. Willing to do whatever they can get away with.

@@garyz0611 Short of committing a crime, it's nearly impossible to have USPS employees fired for incompetency or behavior. Govt. jobs almost always guarantee a lifetime of employment and pension.

Even if you happen to film someones personal info. while in public, it's not against the law, only if you use that info later to commit a crime. Also the security cameras are always filming everyones transactions that anyone can obtain and do anything with. Keep up the good work Sean!
