I love this practice of letting you play to a certain point in the Demo and then you can transfer data.
I believe this should win GOTY just for other companies to start coming back to good practices like Demos
Fun fact depending on your reading the "forbidden fruit" in the garden of Eden was unlikely to be an apple and was more likely a pomegranate so the first human you fight has both because it's a metaphor, they did the thing.
I loved this demo so much. I actually regret having played it because I don't have the budget to get the game and might not have it until March. Thanks for the great content.
I'm in the same boat. If it helps i think the humble bundle has it discounted a little. Still too rich for me right now though.

I always wanted an Attack on Persona video game.
Sadly there seems to be less voice acting and more reading than in a Persona game.
I still try to process the fact that the big bad monsters in this game straight up called humans. A pretty intreasting idea.
I don't want to get too into the weeds on theories, but having played Digital Devil Saga back in the day and seeing all the stuff about the story book alluding to an idyllic version of our Earth and the enemies being called humans... I'm thinking the title 'Metaphor' is going to be very on the nose and the final hours of the game are going to be real weird.

I didn't even know about this game until just now. I'm going to play the demo tonight though.
The game is out tomorrow and by pretty much everyone who reviewed the full game it’s either a 10/10 or a 9/10, so I’d say it would be a good idea to check it out.
The voice acting when Leon was awakening was superb
I really enjoy watching OX team playing JRPG because of how out of element they seem to be.
I'd love to see them with this genre more but also kinda afraid they might getting too familiar with it.
It doesn't come up a lot because of the channel's XBox focus, but Mike has made it clear that he was a _huge_ FF7 fan back in the day. And Jane has mentioned an affection for FF8.

Love watching you play my favourite genre of game because you always have the funniest observations 😂 Was hoping to see Mike react to Hulkenberg though, because I know where my mind first went when I realised party members were called Strohl and Hulkenberg 😂
The demo was a decent chunk of the beginning of the game, and obviously you can take your save from the end of it and load it up to continue in the full game... But as a long time fan of SMT and Persona, I feel like the demo stops well shy of the point where we were supposed to see how different it was to the Persona games.
But it does go far enough in to hook you with the premise... Or at least, what the story wants us to believe is the premise. The thing's called 'Metaphor' after all.

Weird that Atlus seems to have not let them show much of the story, or maybe that was Oxbox's choice? Either way, strange decision for a game thats so story focused.

I think they actually set the dialogue volume to zero for this express purpose. Normally even the protagonist speaks in most conversations.

okay, point A. None of the Persona protagonists are generic, even if they are male. And point 2. If you want an SMT game with a female protagonist with a lot of personality, Soul Hackers 2 came out only two years ago.
