Great video. I had Steve, Oscar and Maskatron action figures as a kid. Actually Oscar's suitcase contains a double bottom, one neat with cardboard files and a radar button, the other wrecked if you open the suitcase the wrong way. Brilliant toy!
I had Steve 2nd version w/ the orange steel beam vs. the OG one with the roll down rubber arm and engine block. I was always sorta bummed I didn't get that one. I did have the critical assignment legs. I also had Maskatron.
Woo! More Steve and Jaime! A wonderful show with great secondary characters. I loved Steve's parents, Oscar Goldman, Dr Rudy Wells, Peggy Callahan not to mention Max the bionic dog and later in a tv movie a bionic Sandra Bullock.
I don't remember any of those tv movies AFTER the series ended? Def had no idea Sandra Bullock had starred and also never heard her name pronounced "SHON-DRAH" either! lol
Steve Austin was my biggest hero when i was about 7-10. I still have the action figure somewhere. I had Maskstron too. I didn't think Andre the Giant as bigfoot was scary, just awesome.
@@bigneiltoo that sucks, I was born in 1972 so I know I didn't get to see the early seasons until syndication but I watched with my dad I assume the final 2 seasons as they aired? My grandmother ordered the figure for me via catalog and I got it for my 4th Birthday for it was my favorite show. I liked The Bionic Woman as well but not as much! Wonder Woman was up there with SMDM! Back then it was KISS, The SMDM, Charlie's Angels and Wonder Woman! In the '80s it was The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard and of course The Fall Guy!!! Heather Thomas HUBBA HUBBA!!!
@@raaawkstaaar Bionic Man was one of the coolest toys when I was in first grade. I remember when my friend let me hold one. I got to look through the Bionic eye. I got to peel up the rubber on the Bionic Arm and Leg. I loved Wonder Woman also. And Three's Company. Search on "The Not So Great Imposter".
I have the privilege of being old enough to have seen both these series when they originally aired along with all the other great series of the 70/80's. They just can't do great television like they use to. 🤘😎🎸🏍
Have you seen the cost of Bionic men these days? Scaled to inflation from 1973, the Six Million Dollar man would today be The Forty Six Million Dollar Man.
That's bizarre! Not even a week ago I made a reference to the 6 Million Dollar Man in a video I made of my cat's kittens!! Heck. they wouldn't even be able to afford the land to build the lab on these days!!
I was a young teen when this came out and should have been in the target audience, but every time he performed some amazing feat of strength I couldn't help but think about what would happen to all the squishy non bionic bits in between the bionic legs and arm.
Used to watch both series. I remembered watching the ones with the fembots and that gave me nightmares for life and never was able to get them out of my head.
Prior to this episdode/series: The computers on the Jupiter 2 in the first episode "The Reluctant Stowaway" from "Lost In Space" 1965-68, in black and white, were destroyed by the Robot B9 and Dr. Zachary Smith! And The future "War Games: Tic Tac Toe: To Win Is Not To Play(paraphrased)"
I saw him at DragonCon this year, along with Lindsay. He still looks like Steve Austin, only 50 years older.

@@raaawkstaaar I also had Steve with his orange steel beam and his chaotic rubber arm!
Loved both shows as a kid
Man I miss these old shows. The nostalgia.

I watched Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic woman as a kid. I had a big crush on Lindsey Wagner. They were fun shows back in the day.
This was awesome. Thank you.
Well done video, paying reverence and respect to these classic tv series as it should be.

I still remember "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him" but unfortunately that was the exact moment when my dad would say "BED TIME!"
@@bigneiltoo lol, that sucks, I understand your pain. I successfully negotiated to stay up an hour later the nights it aired.

Oh man. I loved Lindsey Wagner. Pretended I was Bionic Woman as a youngin.
I was so wound up during the Bigfoot episode my mom threatened to turn off the TV. 🤩
I loved these shows, especially The Bionic Woman!

same but I don't remember/recall any of the later '80s and '90s tv movies?!?!?!
Me too .Grew up watching them all .

according to Hollywood it would be 6 Billion, i.e "The Six Billion Dollar Man" LOL (working title for the new one that's yet to be)
Landsakes

Killjoy
This show is proof the Golden Age of TV was definitely the 80s...
You know that photo of "Mark Frost" was actually Peter Gabriel? Right?
Funny thing, the The Bionic Woman was remade but not the Six Million Dollar Man
the rights were probably A LOT cheaper
First we had the Six Million Dollar Man.
He married the Bionic Woman.
She later became the Three Million Dollar Woman after the divorce.
13:05 no mention of Bryan Cranston?
He puts eyeballs at the bottom of the screen to indicate “hey, look at this!”
oh yeah, i see now.. @@johnpresnell
Uh, that’s Peter Gabriel, not Martin Frost! 😆
My reaction too!
I wonder how that happened!

Are you ever going to do an episode on Jake 2.0? Lee Majors guest starred on that series as well.

Why am I watching this episode again? 🤔
jeepers, how tall are Lindsay Wagner and Lynda Carter?
Lindsay is around 5 "8 . She has a son who is about 6"7. Lynda Carter is about 5 " 10.
Robot 🤖 Chicken 🐔 had a skit on this, that was pretty funny.
ALEX 7000 is scarier than HAL 9000 from "2001: A Space Odyssey" in the 1960s.
💪
My ex-boyfriend used to watch this. 😢
If we remade it, Feminists would say Bionic powers for men are Toxic.
those fembots faces was first my hairs stood on end creep me out for such a sci-fi kinda series ,
Hai tempi belli ora no sense
Too bad Lee Majors had so much plastic surgery he doesn’t look like Steve Austin anymore.
he's also 50 years older so there's that
I thought Star Wars, the Holiday special was bad, but this was the worst
that was Xmas Special was akin to a fever dream but these 2 series were GOLD! '70s PERFECTION! You're in the minority for sure!
