One thing's for sure: Bichette is really mailing it in. Don't know that I've ever seen a professional athlete with such negative body language and attitude. Must be really disappointing for his teammates.

Unless they're a pitcher , if they weren't touted to hit at least 228 , they wouldn't be no. 1 prospects. Somebody out there must be willing to give up their no. 1 for Bo . He's mailed it in just like Vince Carter did in his last year with the Raptors. He clearly doesn't want to be here no matter how much they want him .

I think Atkinson should be let go. He started the team demise three years ago. It would be very foolish to rely on him to rebuild the club . You can not continue to do the same thing year after year and hope for a different result. Change of philosophy is needed.

It's funny that you say the fans have had enough. If the fans have had enough they wouldn't go to the games. I don't know if you've watched many games but a lot of people still go to the games.

With that logic explain why the leafs keep filling up their areas. Every game leaf fans have been saying next year every year for the last 60 years it’s the fans showing up at the games paying the over inflated prices that are the problem. Why spend the money to put a winning team on the field when you’re gonna get the same number of fans filling the stadium.
Letting Kikuchi go makes no sense right now. There’s already not enough starting depth. If any starters get hurt right now things will get worse so if the jays trade him that just puts them in a deeper hole.

The fear is Atkins will do some stupid just to make a trade or make a change and impact the team even more. A lot of under performers this season doesn't help. Bull pen is terrible. Not much going for them.

Quite frankly I had a gut feeling before the season started that this wasn't going to be a good team. If you remember last year the only reason they got to the playoffs was because the teams ahead of them in September crapped out big time. That team had no business being in the playoffs and we all know how that worked out. Then came the off season when they put all their hopes and dreams into one player who they had a very slim chance of actually getting. Of course they didn't. They had NO backup plan when he didn't come to Toronto. After that all of a sudden they were very happy with the team they had! They added a couple of middle of the road players and brought back KK, who I have always liked but he's well past his prime. Remember the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Doesn't that sum up our 2024 Blue Jays? How could a team that wasn't good enough last year be good enough this year? This isn't on John Schnieder, this is 100% on Atkins. He needs to go now Before the rebuild starts because he has no clue.

As far as i'm concerned they can add Bo to that trade block list as well. Watching his shit AB's day after day, then seeing him in the dugout laughing and joking around like he's hitting over .300 really pisses me off. Last year was riddled with disappointing, clutch, poor execution also. I still have faith we do better next season than this one with a solid rebuild. I really believed in this team to start the season.... time for big change!

Nobody wanted to be on the team after ownership crashed the offseason. Players realized that ownership would not go for it and were just waiting out the year so they could half the payroll and start the rebuild. It's what ownership wants and always does
@@gcanada3005 Ya correct, I also noticed it with Witt Merrifield, he was so excited when he came to the Jay's, and after his contract expired, he was like no not interested in signing...he said a few things in the off season also....but ya you can see it in the players( some of them)
I had enough 2 seasons ago, blowing that lead against Seattle. Then they traded Teo and Lourd... and Gabby. Then they got clowned by the twins.Then they wiffed on Ohtani. Then this season from hell.

the writing was on the wall after the fiasco that was the "playoffs" last year and how that unfolded. Then they doubled down on that winning formula and here's the mess we're in today. I will give them credit though for their attempt at going after the big fish in the off-season if there is *any* truth to any of those rumors.

I don't think there is any manager or coach who can get a team to perform at its potential as long as Toronto keeps the same head office. You can use analytics to gather the players together, but you have to let the managers and coaches do the rest. If Schneider is, in fact, making these ridiculous choices then fire him. if not, fire the head office for relying on analytics' solely.

Won't be 4 years if the right personnel are kept. Keep Vladdy and Jansen. Trade Bo, Kikuchi, Turner and Keirmeyer. I never cared for Romano. He's blown some absolutely clutch saves. We still have a good core with the Buffalo boys and some off-season FA pickups. Start trading now!

VERY casual fan here, but anytime i do watch or even catch highlights, bichette does not look good at all, or hes made an unnecessary mistake to cost them the game.

The season is far from over. After the series against the Mariners, the Jays begin a long stretch against inferior teams: Detroit, San Francisco, Arizona, Tampa and Texas. There are fifteen wins ready to be taken here which will put the Jays into a wild card spot plus they play Oakland, Anaheim, the Cubs and Miami later in the year.
The Jays record is no better than those inferior teams, they are on the same level as those teams.

I could watch more on the jays on TV but I would rather watch a more competitive game like Yankees vs Dodgers. I don't know what kind of baseball the blue jays playing because it's not good.
