I've had mine for about 3 weeks now, can't fault it. I'm 5ft2 and have had no issues with the seat being on the lowest setting. I am riding proper paths though, no off-road. Love the look, pedal assist and full electric and son has used the hack to take the speed limiter off. Very happy customer! Just can't get the free Fiido smart lock to work - no UA-cam videos on that yet so am waiting....
I like that battery/seat post idea! You can have another battery on charge and swap them in 10 seconds. Perfect for a city delivery bike that is used all day. 👍
Except every time you go somewhere, you have to take the battery with you as it's easily stolen. It slips in the mount and snaps at the point where they glued the seatpost to the battery part
I really like the aesthetics to this bike, great to see that it's got disk brakes and integrated lights, safety seems like it was a prominent part of the design, which is great 🦊💪 awesome review as always Ben
Pros: 1. Out of all the Fiido e-bicycles this one has a tail light 2. Not a lot of cables exposed compare to other Fiido e-bicycles 3. Modern, lightweight looking, minimal designs Cons: 1. No triangle for when the rider has to lock their bicycle outside 2. If the plug isn't connected, the rider has to park it outside, and it starts raining onto the plug. It's done for. The only time it's not water resistant. 3. For it's price point the speed is very low and no suspension. There's no unlockable speed for this Fiido model. 4. The screen panel is hard to see in daylight 5. The shifter worse than the Fiido D4S
Most ebikes & pev's are made for a specific purpose, this is strictly for the inner city in southern states, for pleasure, broad boulevards, boardwalks, getting around the gated community, flat roadways & pathways. It's an oldsters ebike.
@@donitaforrest9064 I agree and I'm aware of it too. What I'm basically trying to say is you get more for you money on the D4S. I like D11 also, but not at it's current price. Great for those who can bring it inside in most places to park, the cost doesn't matter for the design and looks, and where most of the roads or pavement bicycle trails they're riding on are strict to limited 15 mph speeds or lower.
Total nutter but made me laugh’ “no mean feat nowadays “ great fun review. One question what’s the front like under breaking, iv heard reports that the handle bars judder under breaking any comments?

Hi Ben I use to have a Fiido D2 and I use to enjoy riding that bike but I've since bought as super73 lookalike as well as my e-scooter but that one is good for entry riders and I see the kept it the same colour as the Fiido D2 it's good to see you're still the crazy cool dude.🤣😅
Which one is better? D11 or D2s? Im new to e-bike. Height 153cm. Im looking for daily evening exercise with 1 kids. Does these model got rear back seat? D2s i think got. Does D11 have also?
Cool video Ben. There was a bit of filming abut halfway through that I really liked. I couldn't pause the video - is this something new? Update - just worked it out!
anstelios Pedal assist on Fiidos is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!
This thing has a flawed design. Lots of people having the seatpost snap on them because it's literally glued together in two places. The clamps brake because they were never designed to hold so much weight, poor quality brakes, no name battery. I'd avoid this thing like the plague. Battery seatpost could easily be stolen unless you're willing to take it with you every time you stop Fiido as a company are terrible to deal with and banggood etc don't adhere to UK laws in terms of returns or replacement. (Disgruntled d4s owner)
Hi Alex, do you have problems with your D4s, i want to buy the D4s but i don't know wht to do if any problems occur, i live in the Netherlands. Buy or stay away?
@@1Surinamer I have issues but mine was an old batch. The new ones seem very good (my dad has one). Buy with a credit card, I can't stress that enough. PayPal won't help you
The Fiido D4S seems like the better alternative. It looks like BMX at first glance, costs less, better performance with unlockable speed, better shifters, has a small triangle frame on the back of the D4S for U-locks or most other bicycle locks

The bike uses a cadence sensor rather than a torque sensor and some of the wiring seems to lack finesse. But this is literally 1/3 of the price of an Brompton Electric with 6 gears. Other reviewers have said the funky frame design makes it awkward to lock up. Also you need to take the seat post with you when you lock it up (seeing as the most valuable component is inside the post) which could be inconvenient. Having said that, it’s perhaps also a theft deterrent.
