Best review I’ve found 👌🏼😊 you highlighted everything I wanted to know about the bike with out to much nonsense facts. Best part was that you showed top pedal speed after motor cut off and also range test and hills with throttle only .....I want to buy Fiido X soon as first day release is 50% off
The bike doesn't fit my needs, but I can see it being useful for apartment dwellers or for last mile transport. There would be no problem taking it on trains. Great and objective review as usual!
Great review, it's the kind of bike for me. Just when I was ready to take out my plastic to place an order on the website to find out they do not sell to Canada.
Interesting Bike. In general I would think this is meant for a short commute or Vacation Travel, like RV or Boat even Back of SUV. The weight is great for an ebike. Not sure I would want to ride long distances. One concern is locking it up. I did not see a good place to lock it. No triangle on the frame that I could see. The good news is you can carry the whole bike inside easily. I go to a gym where a person does this with a small bike (I leave my OLD regular bike outside, locked no worry). Another idea is if you remove the seat/tube/battery it is less likely to be stolen I would think. But who knows. I prefer to store and charge my Battery inside my house at a moderate temperature. This is better for the battery. The battery being part of the seat post seems like a hassle. Not a lot of power, but that is not bad as long as you can make it up the hills when necessary. Just means you must put a little effort into it (pedal). I think that is actually a good thing. I know a lot of people think this is just a clown bike, but it really has its place for short trips and a bonus is that it can actually be ridden for a reasonable range if necessary. Plus being light means a lot. Remove seat/seat post/battery and the weight would be less than 35 lbs. It is not a electric Brompton or Bike Friday, but it cost MUCH less. It is also not an Electric Tern which is heavier and cost MUCH more, but is powerful. Range is not bad for the cost. The range is because it is light and you need to pedal harder than with a lot of Ebikes. Speed is not bad if you pedal, but you MUST pedal especially up a hill. This is not all bad. The biggest issue is the non adjustable handle bars. Thanks for the review.
That's actually a respectable range. Maybe their estimate was taken in PAS level 1, riding downhill the whole way & with a strong tailwind;) I think that bike is better suited for people using it as a last mile commuter that need to save space, not to doing long distance cycling.

Thanks. I have a D1. They used to make it with 10.5 Ah (now 7.8). Loaded with 100 kg, and the bike is a bit heavier, flew me regularly 57 kms, with over 600m elevation, and still going in the reserve. This one is not that strong. ... And one more : it has no gears !
Depends what you want. For range the L3 is the king at over 70 miles on a charge nothing touches it. For top speed and all surface handling the D11 or D4S are better.
Very different bike. Really not that compatible. Someone who buys this is probably worried about weight, needs to lift it. Does not care about speed or needing to pedal up a hill. Also I hope they don’t plan on riding for long distances regularly.
Its a cute bike but there is almost no point installing a 250 Watt motor in a bike. To be useful at all it needs to be 500 Watt at least. And as for the outrageous range claim, under whose laws of physics?...
I'm actually thinking on getting this as a second e-bike just because my Rad Mini 4 is heavy to lift up when getting on and off the subway in NYC. I feel like there's got to be a way to hack the bike to give its full potential. NICE REVIEW!!!!
I just ordered this bike off eBay. Prices ranged from $1,299 to $2,175. I got it on best offer for 600 with its original being $700 priced. Can’t wait to get it. Need something that isn’t so Heavy as my Jaison EB7. That’s for various terrains and Dirty riding hehe. But this D11 will be perfect for commuting through town here and there. And it’s only 31 pounds without the battery. Yay 😁. Damn Jaison weighs close to 60. Great review I’m excited to ride it for the first time. I was going to ask if you still have this bike and or use it a year plus later after this video. If so drop a little basic update and Awesome informative video. Your video is the reason I purchased it. Coming back one more time to watch your Vid again to Increase the excitement for when it comes. Be well brotha
My bike worked for 10 minutes before the motor gave up. Geek Buying eventually sent us a new motor with no instructions or help to instal it, which we are still trying to do. I wish I'd bought a more expensive bike with better customer service .
i purchased one in january i live in ireland so the climate is wet and cold the one thing i did find if there was any type of suspension it would be very good. another thing was the saddle like you dad it was hard i heated it up and it soften and is now fine we’ll worth the buy personally.
After watching several reviews on this bike I purchased a D11 for my wife. She has had the bike for 8 months 1300km. I don't recommend buying this bike for 2 main reasons. The bike has been assembled with all the cheapest parts and the after sales customer service is not great. I did buy online and that is my fault. We do like the size and weight. I am thinking about replacing it with something better.
Fiido's pedal assist is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!
Can you buy and hook up another display screen. I aw in another video, and they may be right, where the guy says the display screen is horrible, can't really see much when the sun hits it and just by viewing the videos, he may have a point. So i was wondering if one could buy another one with better view and attach it.

The d11 has a thumb throttle so you can ride electric only no pedaling, You could add a different seat that is softer, wider, and spring loaded which would help with the ride quality.
not sure yet, i dont' like doing giveaways since it's basically like running a lottery and there is lots of legal stuff involved, plus i would have to ship a bike. not ready to take on that cost until i can make some money doing this channel haha :) i like having them around for comparison sake and since folks are always asking questions and i can run out and look at the bike or take a measurement for them. i am running out of room though so something will have to be done.
