    Thanks for making these videos. I'll buy me the plates kit from Aliexpress and have them shipped to Brazil. I'll have to buy all of the extrusions as well as the rails over here otherwise the shipping costs are ridiculous. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be watching the videos WHILE trying to assemble mine.

    Hey! I'm very thankful for your videos! I'm in the market for a CNC and I think you're videos have sold me on the Queen bee!

    Great video series, I only have the X left to assemble and install for my upgrade to the queen bee 🐝. I was pleased to see how complete the upgrade kit is. I'm hoping to get way more rigidity and it all seems pretty beefy and stiff. I'm also hopping for it to bee a little quieter with less vibration so I don't driver my neighbors insane. Lolol

    Excellent videos! So much easier to understand than the instructions that`s coming from Bulkman. When will you be finishing/uploading the video from the Z-axis?

    Where's the update? I'm still wondering how to get the two Y axis beams straight and when to tighten them down.

    How come no one is showing the proper way to grease the rails? I have been trying to figure out what grease gun to do both types of fittings. I have found one that will work for the smaller fittings but the other grease nipples are larger and there is no information on it. :(

    The dimensions on the websites selling these kits don’t clarify which number is width (gantry) and which is the length (front to back). The workbee main site is the same way. Weird how that was missed. Are the kits reversible or something? I don’t see how they could be

    Don't know why bulkman removed the lower HGR15 linear guide in the latest design

    Did you ever so the Z axis video? Don't seem to have any grease nipples on my z carriages, and the holes look to be blanked off so was wondering if these ones are differe t and the PDF is wrong again?

    Great video, I am curious if this machine has any backlash with those screw blocks. would like to see how those are setup to reduce backlash. wish they used ballscrews to go with the linear rails.

    Hey Dennis thanks for the time and effort you are putting in to teach those of us new to CNC, how to go about building our machines once they arrive. Just a quick question, can you give me any details on your version of the "hockey puck", the 3d printed nut and brass insert, used to get tension on the lead screws.... searched thinga verse but no success.... Thanks in advance. From one Vet to another, thank you again. Subbed and following.

    Have question.
    If the X Gantry is at the Y=0 position (near to operator standing at the front of the machine), does the spindle stick out of the table? Wondering if i can make a vertical clap at the front of the table so i can machine fancy wood end joints (eg. dovetail)

    fantastic Set of videos. I have just ordered my 1510 and will be watching closely. Can you provide some details about your spoil board the spacings etc of the threaded inserts? Thanks in advance Regards Mick

    • @702marine
      @702marine  3 роки тому

      Thank you... I had them spaced out 10cm each. I honestly don’t really use them. They don’t effect things negatively though. If I actually put a system together to better utilize them I’m sure they would work fantastically..

      @@ianmanners3605 so there is no follow-up? Would of been nice to see if its worth doing. value, rigidity, actual work bed size after upgrade as I believe it's smaller than bulkman suggest on the X and how to maintain etc. Would be amazing if you could make one please.

    • @ianmanners3605
      @ianmanners3605 3 роки тому

      I have built mine and the frame itself measures just over 1000x1000. The work area itsself is maybe 10cm smaller because the space it needs on the gantry mounts in relation to the spindle, its never reaching the perimeter. Hardest part for me was setting up the tension in the screws.
      Would recommend getting some kind of bellows to cover the rails.

    Hey there, i too have the "PRO" kit - i'm having a bit of trouble getting the waste board & "Y" axis squared up. As you already know, the instructions from bulkman SUCK, and is missing 1 step. My question is- what is the cross measurement from motor / bearing plate to motor / bearing plate?

    The instructions say to use 55mm screws (for the x axis nut blocks) but you need to use them for the motors. Instructions are wrong. 45mm ones are the correct ones IIRC.

    • @702marine
      @702marine  3 роки тому

      There are other 55mm screws so not an issue. I have everything laid out and accounted for. The screws for the motors on the 2-Y axis and X axis call for 60mm not 55mm. The screws for the motor on the Z axis calls for 55mm. These are the screws that were intended for the nut blocks. They might be somewhat long but they do not cause any issues.

    • @zxxvcc
      @zxxvcc 3 роки тому +1

      @@702marine that's weird - we must have a slightly different kit. My screws for fitting the linear rails were the "version 1" ones. Maybe they simplified in version 2 by replacing the 45mm screws with 55mm.

    • @702marine
      @702marine  3 роки тому

      Could be... I started with the WorkBee 2.2 version...
