Hey, thank you for this video you make. I'm just thinking of purchasing this machine and it seeing that everything is labeled and with such good quality!
Thanks for the build videos! My bulkman 3d queenbee pro full kit is on its way and I’ve been on the lookout for the full kit build but this upgrade will do :) For mine, I’m going with a centroid acorn and teknic clearpath sdsk servos
Once I have mine taken apart the rebuilding will be just about the same as a QB kit. The only things that won’t be talked about too much is the programming. However, if you watch my videos for the WorkBee the programming would be the same. So when you get to that point check out those videos and if you have any issues just reach out to me. Of course if there is anything major that is different when putting mine back together I will detail all of that.
Thank you Sir 🙏 I’ve saved your workbee build videos and will for sure refer to them, specially for the vfd and spindle. Looking forward to more of your videos on the queenbee upgrade
Congrads on getting the upgrade, I haven't even put my machine together yet, now I'm wondering if I should buy the upgrade but a little confused on what I need, I have the 15,15 workbee, My guess is the 2.2 version though I'm using 1/2 multi start lead screws, Will need to either make new lead nuts or just drill and tap the ones that come with the kit. Using the original lead screws for a smaller machine I'm building.
I can tell you that on the 1500x1500mm QB I’m putting together right now, the 6 linear rails take 25 screws and 25 t-nuts that a minimum of 150. But the problem they only ship with 125 of each, the smaller rails use different screws & t-nut, but the smaller 4 bearings for z-axis did not come with grease nipples.
I emailed them 2 days ago never have received a response as of yet. I ordered what I needed you can’t rely on someone that takes 48 hours with no response
@@StickerJoe Jump on Skype chat and contact: (live:.cid.184e690f63da825c) Tell him I sent you to talk to him about your issue because you were not helped through other means. He should be able to correct it for you.
This is cool dude. I shopped for the QB, (I have an active x carve) and we got a big job at my day job (digital print shop large format) to cut coroboard in the shapes of people for putting in the fake crowd on the stands, so I talked him into getting the qb 1515 , I liked the kit so I made the purchase as well now I'm building two lol. I'm hooking mine and the one at work to a Blackboxes. I think I have all the coil pairs sorted out, just trying to flash the firmware to the BB but it's really fussy on which usb port it uses. I've never had luck with arduino stuff lol
Does the QB have the ability to read registration marks? How do you cut printed coroboard accurately? I'm assuming you would switch out the bit to a swivel knife on the router as well?
@@janagan Doesn't read registration marks, though, when I printed on the flat-bed I had the graphics guy make all the images within a square area, and he added a circle for a bit reference on the bottom left corner, I just used an upcut 1/4 inch bit, it cuts 4 mill coro in one pass at 90ipm. Used the qb to cut out an aluminum metal sign outline, my first go with metal, worked out great. We are still working out some of the sizing details relative to the bit width factor, but for now we ensure there is plenty of bleed out on the prints
Anyone have any experience with how long it took them to get the machine when choosing the shippers choice option for shipping. It’s been 3 weeks for me and no updated tracking from ups yet. I’m not getting impatient, I actually couldn’t afford a machine if they didn’t offer that. I’m just super excited and want an idea when I can expect it. Great videos by the way! I’m happy to be a part of the community now!
Looking at a queenbee pro full kit myself, searching for videos to see which options are best suited, etc.. saw a reddit thread on how no brackets to hold the drag chain and some small gripes with kit he received.. but was one of the first to receive, so unknown if they include now or not.. I have not CNC for over 20 years, thought be neat to make some signs and whatnot as no one around here has one of these setups, needed something to make some cash while retired.. and keep me busy.. be nice to have dust collector brackets too.. so can mount something to keep shop free of that cloud..
found their site near top of quick search on internet.. and the QB Pro looked better than what I had seen others offer for the amount of money being spent.
I wanted to see which engines it occupies please ... measurements and which model because there are many and I don't know which one is going to have good torque ... thanks and good work friend
I ordered a queen bee pro complete kit yesterday. What kind of shipping time I'm looking at? I'm in the u.s. Ok. Got to where you said you got it in 4 days. I hope I do too, but I haven't gotten any shipping information yet.
@@702marine thanks for the response. I'll be watching your videos in the meantime. They are really informative and helpful for when the time comes to build it.
Thank you for your videos. They have been helpful. I ordered a Queenbee kit the other day. They have not shipped yet. They told me that I could be charged import taxes if I use the FedEx shipping option. So I told them to ship 30-40 day option where they pay all customs etc. It looks like in your videos you went with the fast options. Did you have any issues with extra duties, taxes, importing etc?
Good Morning, I bumped into the Queen Bee Kit web page this morning. I was trying to confirm what is in the kit when I found your link on one of the web pages. I will be spending time this morning looking at your videos. Just wondering if you were able to hook up and get a discount link?? Thanks a million from an 84 year old Retired USN Submariner. Wally
Hey I'm thinking about getting a 1515 QB kit and wanted to find out what kind of rapid speeds and cut speeds you're getting with your setup? And how rigid is the whole machine? I want to use it in a production manner in some exotic hardwoods so want to make sure the machine can cope... Also how's the spindle? I'm thinking to go with the 1.5kW air cooled one for the reduced weight on the X axis as I don't imagine the cut speeds will really warrant a 2.2kW? Really like your videos! And subscribed to see more of the QB (and to refer back for build if I get the kit myself) Thanks!
Have you tried adding a laser on your CNC, if so which one did you use ? Also I just bought workable cnc router machine full kit, is there a difference with the one you got?
The QueenBee Pro seems to be my answer but, am thinking of 1500mm X 1500mm what if am cutting 1219mm X 2440 (full sheet) do i have to build 1500mm X 2500mm Table will it work.? i mean theres no limitation on length?
I’m sure you could. It can pull up to 20amp at completely peaked out. 99% of the time you won’t be running it that hard. But it goes without saying, if you are popping the breaker then you better change it. Especially if you plan to have anything else plugged into that same circuit. Changing out a breaker is pretty simple and easy on the pocket. It’s always worth being overly safe especially when it comes to a machine that will be running for a really long time and unattended.
If you have no machine at all yes you can get the QueenBee Pro as a full kit. Once I start putting this together it will be the same process putting together the upgrade kit or the full QB Pro kit. If you have a WorkBee of any “brand” this upgrade kit would work with it as well.
So this kit is actually intellectual property theft, the original creator is an Australian based business (the queen bee upgrade) Those thinking of purchasing this kit should think about letting the original creator get paid for their work, rather than paying someone that can get you really cheap parts, no R&D costs just rip off the idea etc... At what point do the creators give up, how can they compete with aliexpress etc.
Thanks for the video. Please don't confuse the USA with the rest of the world. There are a lot of countries wich have Covid pretty good under control and life is almost normal (with international travel restrictions).

Good job so far. How many linear rails / bearings are on the “y” axis, 2 or 4 rails (4 or 8 bearing blocks)? Thx
2 rails on each side on the Y with 4 bearings on each...

Hi. I can't clearly see the four linear bearing blocks for Z axis !!! ! Or are they the blue ones ??
I believe they are the Blue ones. However, I will show things in much greater detail when that portion comes along. This was just a quick overview.
where is the affiliate link??
