- Raced Canyons 25k in Auburn California over the weekend with a couple friends. While it was a mental day couldn't be more stoked to race with my PNW homies and experience all things trail / ultra racing and the community behind it. Big thanks to Chris and Richy for sharing all the insight / knowledge into their sport and letting me tag along ... definitely one for the books and won't be the last. Both of them absolutely smashed it as expected. I managed to snag a top 50 male finish and a 8th age group which I couldn't be more thrilled on. Please like comment and subscribe.

Really great vlog of your race. Congrats on the phenom effort too. I was chasing the time cut-off and enjoyed watching your run where I walked. My take away was I could have run some of the segments I walked. See you in 2024.

Its not an easy juggle to race / be competitive then try and capture it somehow lol but i do my best thanks for the watch

Hi, I’m doing this race next month, any tips and how bad are the hills and how long do they last for, cheers
Niceee great international field auburn is a rad town. The only downside I had and maybe they changed the course this year there is a big long road hill just before mile 4 its like 2 or 4 miles. Other then that the zig zag up to the tunnel after that road hill is a pretty good leg zapper but the worst one is the climb out back to the road to finish it gets pretty steep think thats 10.5 to 12.5. If the course is the same as I ran it id probably do it in a road shoe not a trail shoe its a fast course non technical and good amount of road. Have a blast 🤙
