- Some how I was convinced to go back to Portola CA and ride the Lost and Found gravel course.
Not a re con just a fun day in the dirt maybe a few new tips for the upcoming gravel race.

Hey Nick! Last night I got back from Portola, where on Saturday I did the Lost & Found 100. Thanks again for posting not one but TWO recon videos of this ride. They were invaluable for a first timer like me. I rode 50 mm Maxxis Rambler at 28/30 psi, and fortunately had no flats. I'm 100% with you about that really nasty final descent; it doesn't belong in a gravel course. It's shit. Whoever decided to include that in the course is a sadist assasin! Other than that, it was a great event. Good weather, nice little town, and fun post-ride festival with good food and great music. Now on to the next one...
Phew I thought I was the only one who thought that last section was garbage haha its a brutal one at the end of the day I just didn’t get it so happy to hear someone else agrees.

I rode 50 mm Rambler's. Would not go any lower than 45 mm. Saw many guys riding MTB's. No wonder ...
