    Fabulous podcast! Yes it takes effort to record what you’re eating for two weeks but it’s an eye opener to how much food you eat in a day and where the majority of calories come from in your diet. I personally follow the 80/20 rule. Eat 80 % of the food on the plate and leave 20 % behind no matter how healthy the food is to not be overly satiated but comfortable full.

    While I really appreciate the information given by other experts on this show, their approach is mostly focussed on restricting on all foods except meat. What I like about this Doc's approach is that he focuses on improving your gut biome and improving your insulin senstivity so you can eat a variety of real foods and can get back to eating normal foods. With the other approach, especially for somebody like me, you begin to wonder what you can actually eat

    U guys should eat more plant based protein, veggies, nuts, seeds, go to bed early. Do yoga & sleep in saunas. Never stay up late or go dancing, Meditate because you need to fix your mind from worrying obsessively if you miss a wink of sleep . Yoga is so great to teach you how to breathe thru suffering. Bread Pasta Ice Cream & meat is not for you. Don't drink booze at all. Just eat work and sleep. Never eat junk food, candy, cake, chips,and if you do it will make you sick forever immediately. You can't rely on your body to heal itself and you can't trust it Routine, routine, routine.

    • @Msophit
      @Msophit 5 місяців тому

      I must have missed the never eat junk food part. Where was that? At what time stamp?👀🤔🧐
      Well, have fun not taking care of your health and good luck taking care of your disease. Listen to your bad bacteria instead of this doctor and feed them what they need in order to survive. Keep eating junk food that won't nourish your body and then worry about why you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks and dementia. Much better options. 👀🤔🧐🫣😒😏🙄

      I have to disagree with a few of your points :) PLANT-BASED PROTEIN: The majority of plant-based protein is somewhat limited as far as the amino acid profile - adding in some quality animal protein helps you achieve this. DANCING: A good thing and brings joy to the soul! BOOZE: Although there are many negative implications out there on this subject; a minimal amount is not necessarily a deal-breaker for good health. THE BODY: You CAN rely on your body to heal itself - IF you treat it well. The body is an *AMAZING* machine!

    Look at it from a positive aspect😅 Our South Asian ancestors survived numerous famines and so we became "starvation-adapted". This was a GOOD thing in the past, our bodies storing fat in the belly was a key survival strategy for when food was scarce. Indian babies are born with higher fat reserves - in case we undergo another famine, survival kicks in😊. Unfortunately, this works against us in an environment of much abundance such as in the West. South Asians make up 1/4 of the world's population for a damn good reason. It's because our thrifty genes ensured our survival!😂
