I started to learn in the weekends (I work 4x8 hours a week), 5 hours two times, Saturday and Sunday. You can cut your costs and you don't have to work so much. Less work = more time to learn. 2 month is only achieveable if you learn EVERY DAY 8 HOURS. I will take 1 month "holiday" from my workplace and in this 1 month I gonna try learn as much as I can. Question. So I’ve been learning how to become a data analyst. I’ve been building reports on Looker Studio with Google Sheets in my job (I’m just an admin so this is not part of my role but I’ve been given freedom to work on this and implement it) - my question is, how do I build a portfolio when everything I work on is confidential and can’t be shared due to GDPR?
Hey Alex please make a new video of your thought about data future. Where’s all this thing going. Layoffs not ending, AI, market job cutting. Looks like the future will be in one man band. The guy who can do almost everything for the medium wage
Hello Alex, Please i need your advice for the below issues :- I want to get some insights about becoming a Data Analyst. Since I have a social science background, I wonder if it will be challenging for me to learn the required skills. I’m considering applying for a 1-year Data Analysis scholarship. Additionally, I know that Data Analysts use tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. Which one should I focus on learning first, or do I need to learn all of them?
I agree with the skills you named in this video to be needed in the jobs, but I see a lot of people who are graduated with computer science degrees, or studied data science in bootcamps and now all of us are applying for the same jobs. Although in reality maybe the job needs only Excel and SQL, I feel like in the competition with those guys we have no chance with only the skills you mentioned.
I speak from experience. I believe his view is flawed. The technical interviews that I have had for data analyst positions are lengthy. I had a good resume with projects in excel and SQL. Had an interview and got all the technical questions right yet didn't move to the next round. Reached out to find out why and they told me they were wanting someone with more experience.

Thanks for the video. Looking for a data analyst role. I am a Sr Data Engineer with 25 years SQL experience, MS in data science, proficient in python. Will check out Analyst Builder.
Thank you Alex, just what I am looking for.
Watching this video today as I begin my learning journey

Hey Alex please make a new video of your thought about data future. Where’s all this thing going. Layoffs not ending, AI, market job cutting. Looks like the future will be in one man band. The guy who can do almost everything for the medium wage
Hello Alex, Please i need your advice for the below issues :-
I want to get some insights about becoming a Data Analyst.
@@ogart6315 thats one job interview. In a highly in-demand field there will be other employers. Did you find anything after 8 months?
I will begin this tomorrow and see if i get a work in a year because i work 7h of work so i have a bit less of time to study
