I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for doing so much!! Surf fishing is a great time any time! Nice to see how you take care of the partners you are fishing with!!
They are a blast, I started surf perch fishing in 2018 and was ‘hooked’ on the first outing. Nothing like standing on the beach casting into the waves. 🌊 🎣
Fish Tacos thanks to Matthew! And Janina, of course! When she isn't busy being a top runway model! Great family outing! Super job warning everyone not to turn their back on an angry surf! Safety first! Thanks for sharing!
Yep, Matthew did great. Haley and Matthew joined us on the last coastal trip in August, it was the first surf perch outing for both of them. Haley caught 2, but Matthew didn’t find one. This year he got it figured out. And Janina is always a crack up, that was funny. I couldn’t really wear the bag due to my chest pack with all the gear and camera. All in all, the video came out decent even though things got chaotic on the beach a few times. But that’s the fun in this hobby, the editing. As always William, thanks for taking the time to give me feedback! 😊
@@RAGEFISHING I agree man nothing more relaxing, my buddy caught a steely fishing in the surf last month on my latest video, it was an epic surprise. We were using sandshrimp
Thank you! We try to start fishing about 2 hours before high tide and have found the bite slows right after slack high tide. I would bet any incoming tide would be good.
I generally don’t name locations on public sites to avoid overcrowding one location, unless it’s obvious by landmark or otherwise. The wonderful thing about surf perch is you can find them up and down the coast, I haven’t been to a beach where I haven’t found a bite. Just watch out for the few beaches which are ‘Marine Protection Areas’ where fishing is banned, they are listed in the Fishing Regulations.

That is the best place to clean fish. So convenient. Been there many times.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. 😊
Oh how I miss surf perch fishing! been so busy and missing out on all the high tides :( nice catches!
Putting everyone else first so that they can have success. Love to see it!
Thank you for the observation! That’s what this trip was all about. 😊
That's why we take the ladies because they always bring good luck. Good job everyone!
That’s for sure Siaosi! Thank you. 😊🎣 I was surprised we didn’t see you out there!
@@RAGEFISHING I was there last weekend and the weekend after. We were using 6 inch rapala
Interesting! I’ve never heard of using those for lures.
If I see you on the surf I will give you a couple to try. It's fun when you hook into the 15 inchers. They called it the Lucky Craft Lures.
@siaosipanapa852 that’s cool, what color scheme works best?
All about family! great job again Barry. i would love to learn how to go surf perch fishing one day.

Great video, I can’t wait to go this summer.
Thanks! You planning to go to the Washington coast?
Hell yah buddy love some surf perch ! 🤘🐟
It’s pretty awesome. Standing on true edge of the continent, casting into the waves. 🎣🌊

@JigginwithG oh wow! That would be a surprise!
Another Great Video!!!! Do you prefer an incoming tide when surf perch fishing? Thank You!!

Great job Matthew. You’re gonna make a good husband. It shows. 💯🏆 ✌️
He’s a good man! We’re happy to have him in the family.
@@RAGEFISHING he looks a little uncomfortable out there. But the two of them shine together and it shows. Congratulations.
@@2HighNoon thanks, that was only his second time fishing for surf perch. He’s getting the hang of it!
