    Hello, I have a pit mix with bad environmental allergies also he has a chicken allergy. Right now he had an reaction that’s environmental & was on cytopoint which barely helped. He has also developed what I think is a yeast infection & he has a hotspot by his ear. I’m treating it with ACV & diluted with water in a spray bottle but don’t know how often I should do so? I was thinking everyday twice a day? Please help!

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  Рік тому +3

      Twice a day is good. I know the issues your dog is facing and here's some advice to follow.
      If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
      Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables. Always add a quality probiotic: (skin issues/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
      If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbs cause inflammation, itchy skin, hot spots and lead to greater disease at some point and nearly all kibbles are 40+ carbs!) and with high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. Still add the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
      What you stated your dog has will be helped greatly by the above, just change the meat proteins if currently allergic to it. And no vaxx or vet drugs, nothing synthetic.

How many times a day ? I gotta get her right ,Poor girl is limping around and stressed and I gotta knock this out , thx for the great stuff and I’m jumping on board with all your info as well

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  2 роки тому +1

      Yeast is pernicious. You MUST add fresh food to the diet, give 10% or less carbs in the diet (cause yeast) and lower the additives (cause immune weakness so it can't deal with yeast). Give zero vaxx and apoquel is bad medicine.
      So take out 50% of kibble and replace with raw eggs, canned sardines in water, part cooked and blended veggies and some meats. Add soil based probiotics only: amzn.to/3yoURqU
      For the feet, use oregano oil mixed with a carrier oil like grapeseed, olive, rice bran or coconut oil at 1 part oregano oil to 5 parts carrier oil. Mix well and apply to feet. Great temp solution for relief, while a more freash food diet kicks in over a few months and outs the yeast causing the issue.
      All the above are important!
      Put 1tsp ACV per meal to help kill yeast and alkalize the body.

      @DanScott1  2 роки тому +2

      @@moledog88 The most lesser evil kibble I know of is Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
      It's the ONLY kibble with just 5% carbs which is a blessing as dogs really should have less than 10% carbs in their diet. And the protein is 47%, plus natural additives. I'd still mix in some eggs, canned sardines in water and part cooked and blended veggies to get live enzymes and fresh foods in the diet. Just add some soil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU

    My dog was neutered 2 weeks ago and he’s healing nicely but on the forearm where it was shaved and the IV was put in, he has been licking so much to the point of no hair growing only in that small section he licks and it is red. I have him with the cone still because of that reason I am worried he’ll make it worse or infection develops. What do you recommend? I’ve applied lavender diluted in water but no progress

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  3 роки тому +2

      The lavender diluted in water is great for fast healing but not if it's continually being licked.
      I'd get some silver on hand, this one is a ready spray and a good antibiotic for any infection, just spray the area twice daily until it's healed...somehow!
      Silver spray: amzn.to/3gJ16i3
      While your on there, look for leg wrap for dogs to bandage the area or a leg brace/neoprene leg sock for dogs to block the area until healed. Just some suggestions.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  3 роки тому +2

      It helps with the itching but won't stop the underlying allergies from coming back. To stop his allergies it's diet that needs attention. Kibble is too rich on it's own, hence the allergies. The BEST start is with probiotics: amzn.to/3rW4JVA These are the best and will help a alot. (An easy start).
      Next is, get my free guide: healthydogforlife.com/guide
      that will help by adding some extras to the kibble meals that will help your dogs allergies to calm down.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  3 роки тому +3

      Coconut can help, although he might lick it all off if used topically but added to food it does help break down yeast cells.
      Another idea is to add coconut oil to oregano oil to make a powerful antibiotic, this video has this and other options for treating yeast: ua-cam.com/video/ZWPk5Bw9I9w/v-deo.html
      And definitely start adding some probiotics to the diet for better digestion which breaks down the yeast more before it starts: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
      You'll need to look at the underlying cause of yeast which is too much starch in the diet usually (drugs, vaccines and toxins do play a part so keep to absolute minimum). More fresh food in the diet and less kibble is the way forward to really reduce yeast buildup and the itch.
      I wrote an ebook on this if your interested: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  Рік тому

      It's a good in the meantime remedy but for the underlying cause it's diet related and the dog needs fresh food in the mix not just dry food. So start with raw eggs, some meat proteins, canned sardines in water and some part cooked and blended veggies.
      Blend this food with the regular food 25% for a few days, then 50, few days, then 75% and so on.
      Give zero vaxx, vet drugs and 10% or less carbs (cause itchy skin from inflammation).
      Typical dry food is 35%+ carbs.
      Give this soil based probiotic at every meal: amzn.to/3yoURqU good for itchy dogs.
      Also give Colostrum (for allergies, sensitivity, intolerance & off Apoquel): amzn.to/3H79rad

    My baby keeps scratching his back now he has scratched his back raw can I still use this even he has a few raw spots?

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  Рік тому

      It will be a bit stingy in the raw cracks, test it.
      He's suffering yeast or food allergy in the commercial pet food. Here's some advice:
      If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
      If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
      Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
      Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU
      If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
      Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
      By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
      The back itching, while hard to stop, will get better over time with the above information.
      I recommend zero vet drugs and vaxx, especially the vaxx.
      For the back, this is even better as it has healing properties and antibiotic: amzn.to/3ulnF1T
      Add 2 drops to teaspoon of coconut oil, mix well and rub onto back affected areas and leave on. May sting open raw cracks but test. The tips above will work to fix the underlying condition.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  3 роки тому +1

      Probiotics will help, yes. These probiotics are excellent: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
      What are you protecting the dog with from fleas?
      I recommend Neem Oil: amzn.to/35YQoy2
      I kills fleas on contact and is 100% natural. Just dab on the areas like under neck, back of neck betwwen shoulder blades, between hips amd uner the armpitts, groin areas. Once or twice weekly to stop fleas.
      For the allergies you'll need to make your dogs immune system stronger with some fresh food in the diet. Think veg, eggs, canned sardines in the food to make your dog stronger and therefore more robust to flea allergy.
      Just depends on how far you want to help your dogs condition naturally without drugs/vet chemicals.

      Yes, helps. Cut out the carbs/sugars/drugs/vaccines /stress. Re the itching: Here's the following advice
      Green lipped muscle oil is great for itch relief. Start small but get it up to double recommended dose by 7 days and continue for 30 days. 1tsp daily is normal, 2tsp is double:
      amzn.to/3jAciys
      Add soil based probiotics to diet (not the normal milk based ones).Give twice daily for 30 days AM and PM: amzn.to/3yoURqU
      Also give MCT oil for 30 days (again start very small and build up to normal dose size. So just a 1/4tsp first few days, then half. If any loose stool, back off to smaller dose: amzn.to/3ETxM2W
      Also, a good wash and scrub once weekly for 30 days helps to move skin allergy triggers. Use a kind shampoo like this one: amzn.to/3CYUBjw
      This 30 day protocol should really do the job and really bring down the itching.

    I have a Blue Male Cane Corso who will be 3 June! So for almost 3 years, I have been trying to find food and supplements that be not only likes, but that are also good for him to eat!
    I have spent $100 on 24lb bags of food, I have bought supplements (that I don’t blame him for not eating! They smelled awful!’n), I have put eggs in kibble, broth, and water to make a gravy! I know he’s hungry, but he will walk over to it, move it around and walk away.
    He bites his paws, scratches ears, has acne under his chin, has terrible gas, frequently expresses his anal glands!
    I was told Corso’s are naturally allergic to chicken, wheat, and soy…so I changed his diet…
    His gas is the only thing that has improved! But, the sores on his paws have become worse…
    Because he’s so big (170#’s), I have never left the vets office where it has been less than $300!!!
    So I’d like to try to treat his sores at home first!
    Any suggestions?
    Can I use hydrogen peroxide?
    Oh and he can stand water…LOL

      Any suggestions on kibble? We have tried between 25-30…he’s on a LID…he doesn’t like beef, apparently have chicken…so right now it’s Duck & Salmon….
      Meal time is an awful time of day…most dogs run to their food dish, Monroe runs away! I know hes in pain (I’m guessing his ears & feet) b/c he snapped at my daughter. He adores her!!! He loves her more than me! But for whatever reason when he’s sore or hurt, I’m the only one, he will allow to help him…
      I feel awful!!!
      He came to us with terrible skin issues and I was able to clear them up very!!! Now, I feel like I’m failing him! They say Corso’s, as a breed wont display overt signs of pain unless it’s really bad! So I’m doing research and trying to find what’s best for him! I’m not against RX food, but we don’t even know for sure what he’s allergic too abs they haven’t told me the advantages of RX food vs non?
      He also eats about 5-6 cups of food a day. So I want to know the advantages before I spend another $100+ on a bag of dog food!

      ACV (apple Cider Vinegar) is best, like this: amzn.to/33n2vHC
      For itchy dog issues, here's some further advice:
