Almost 10 years ago I heard ACV was good for diabetics and good for acid reflux disease. I started taking it 2 years ago to treat acid reflux and it worked!

I started walking Nov 2019 and in Feb 2020 I developed gout in my big toe joints. Through research I found a connection between kidneys, uric acid and ACV. Within a week my gout was gone and never returned. I walk up to 7 miles a day, drink 6 TBLS of ACV mixed in my 9 cups of green tea (sip it all day long with a straw) I have lost 65 pounds which was my goal!

I developed arthritis in my left ankle and knee which was gradually worsening. An old guy living up the road suggested ACV (I had never even heard of it 😮). I took it every day in warm water and within a couple of months the problem had completely cleared. I had no other treatment. Meantime I read about the interaction between Acetic acid and Uric acid crystals etc. I still take ACV every day and never had any more joint problems, that's 8 years ago.

If your hair seems to be falling out, spray acv on your scalp, massage it in and let it dry. Leave in overnight, then shampoo. Worked great for me, cleans up the scalp. Do it a couple of evenings a week. Also works great for athletes feet. Soak about an hour for two nights straight, rest them a couple of days, then do it again. After that, about once every week or two. Only thing I've found that actually works. You don't need the mother acv to do either of these two things. I use mother acv for internal only.

Just for reference: I have suffered constant heartburn for two years. Everyday. Frustrating, annoying and confounding. My doctor prescribed Famotidine and that works really well but I have zero desire to stay on that drug so I tried ACV. Two table spoons twice a day (once in morning, once at night) and although it was a slow-go to get results, let me tell you it's been AMAZING. I no longer take drugs to treat my every freakin' day heartburn. I understand I may have to take it in various doses pretty much forever to maintain the success but that's alright. It works Really well. If anyone has a heartburn problem, I sincerely recommend trying ACV. Be patient with it. Give it time and stick to the regiment and it Will help you. Cheers!

Great info! This definitely backs up what I have personally discovered by ingesting ACV daily. With a strict KETO diet and adding ACV daily I have overcome over 20 year's of uncontrollable and a truly miserable GI existence. Traditional medical doctor's have put me through the entire ringer of testing only to tell me that I was perfectly fine (I assure you that I wasn't, sooo many "IBS" problems that made life almost impossible at times in the past).
Really happy and appreciative that I could find this kind of info to help myself. My regular MD was and still is amazed by my results. I lost 60lbs, blood pressure became normal and they had to take my blood oxygen levels three times because it was 100! They had never seen that before 👍👍👍
All good stuff. And even better, I feel GREAT ♥️
Thank you for sharing your highly educated information. You have no idea how much you are helping people who have simply given up and given into the idea that "this miserable illness is just what I need to live with". As I was told many times.
    Glad that's over 🤗❤️👍

I made a 90 year old dentist 15 years ago on the side of the road; he proceeded to tell me that he’s never been sick and his children have never been sick and they’re all lives; he said he took ACV daily; and he made sure his children had it growing up; he explain to me about the chemistry of the body and the PH; that was good enough for me; because who better to tell you there’s a doctor that has lived to be 90 years old, That practice is what he preaches

Had a verruca on my foot for over ten years, nothing would shift it. Discovered that ACV would help if directly applied. Used cotton soaked in ACV and taped it over the verruca using duct tape. Keep reapplying when necessary. It was quite painful at times but after about 7 to 10 days the verruca was gone and has never returned, that's over 5 years ago.

@@BP-ry6mw In my original comment I mentioned Appleford's Cider Vinegar and Crude, i.e. unrefined black strap Molasses. The Appleford's name is now owned by Vitam and the following are their claims, which from my use of blackstrap molasses I would agree with. "Appleford's organic molasses is obtained by squeezing sugar cane. As a natural concentrate, Appleford's organic molasses is a source of potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron. Even with 2 teaspoons of molasses you can contribute to covering your daily needs of these vital substances - without straining the body. Appleford's organic molasses is unrefined and is bottled without any additives or preservatives.
Potassium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal muscle function and maintaining normal blood pressure.
Calcium contributes to normal signal transmission between the nerve cells. It has a function in cell division and specialization and is needed to maintain normal bones as well as normal teeth.
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, to normal oxygen transport in the body, as well as to normal functioning of the immune system. For better absorption of vegetable iron, you should molasses (if necessary. dissolved in hot water) always consume with some orange or lemon juice.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal muscle function and electrolyte balance." I am sure that you can find out more on line. Hope this helps.

It doesn't have that burning sensation but it felt like the heart seems pressed. Its not painful, but it certainly doesn't feel normal and it scares me thinking i have a heart problem. That feeling isn't always there. But right now, sleeping is very hard and sometimes certain beats wakes me up during the initial phase of my sleep. As soon as im in a deep sleep i have no problem. Its starting to sleep is the main issue. None of the doctors i go to couldn't help me, they just kept prescribing meds and i dont want that. Thank you Doctor this topic is very educative. I have been suffering from Acid reflux and I was given omeprazole but I don't want to live long on medication. I have heard about Apple cider vinegar and you have really break it down so much to my understanding. My question is how best to take it to help my acid reflux. I have suffered so much stress for the past five years. Thank you.

I've recently started taking ACV and I can say I love a cup with water and fresh squeezed lemon juice, very refreshing actually. But I've also realized it eliminates the munchies brought on by medical cannabis. I only eat between 2pm and 6pm and tend to get munchies at night....not lately! this is great! really glad I started ACV. now that I understand how it works, im even more inclined to make this a daily ritual. thanks doc!

I am here today because I have GERD and took antacids pepcid AND was taking a protein diet to lose weight to deal with the GERD, I was taking a stool softener, and drinking water, but woke up with severe abdominal pain and could not pass stool. That protein ws not broken down and now I am dealing with how to clear my bowel. But I understand now.... I am going to use the ACV and not use the antacids...!! I am hydrating, using mineral oil, bisacodyl, then if this does not work sitz bath and enema. Never again... dont use the antacids. I cant believe my doctor never told me this. Sutter Health System supposed to be one of the best.
