A man who honors the Word of God and respects and appreciates his animals-- thanks for the information and demo. 🏆
God bless you! I appreciate it.

I love how you emphasize the importance of being friends with your dogs so they'll trust you enough to let you bathe them.
Thanks for watching! You must be their friend!
@@FeatherstonFamilyOutdoorsquestion, so after you dip dog, did you wash it off, or you let it stay on them without washing it off
@@Baltimoreswagga just let it stay on them.
My mom has always told me that her dad used to dip his hunting beagles. So excited to watch this video and see the old school ways
Thank you for watching!
The happy jack dip and dawn was all i ever used on my dogs, worked wonderful. I've never heard of using bleach in a flea bath dip. Although diluted I was still worried about their eyes and scent glands. I did spray around the kennels for disease control but my dogs were in another area.
This is the first video of yours I've seen and i can tell your dogs trust you and seem happy. Happy dog happy human lol.
Thanks so much for your comments. I appreciate it.
Thank You Swamper! The Love for your dogs is the most powerful message. My Chi Wienie dog hates the water and freaks out. I love the way your beagles were so calm and obedient.
Thank you so much for watching! I love them and they know it!
Spray it on or pour it on a rag and wipe. I have one that 🕃 like it either.
Thank you for this vid. Been looking for the old school way to get rid of fleas. Dipped both dogs into the mix today and wishing for the best results.
You are most welcome! Glad I could help!
I appreciate you so much. The point on they need to love you and the relationship. So so so so important.
Thank you so much. Much love!!

Love the content man! I got two dogs that I squirrel hunt with. I hate spending the money for nexguard but I have in the past. I’m gunna try this and see how it works. Thanks again. God bless you brother.

Your info is solid. Thanks for sharing your knowledge....I'm on it now.
Thanks so much for watching!
I definitely need to get some of this. ASAP!
Thanks so much for watching!
My small dogs seem to get sick from frontline - going to try this
Don't replace one poison with another. If your dogs already suffer from one, another one will only add to the toxic load
This was so helpful I really appreciate it
Awesome. Thanks for watching!
After bathing put cedar oil, tea tree oil and argan oil on their fur. The first two oils repell fleas and argan oil stops the flea eggs from sticking to the hair follicles.
God bless you all!
God bless you!!!
Isn't tea tree oil bad/toxic for dogs?
Cats too?
that was a really helpful information dealing with fleas Thanks

Thanks for the information. Gorgeous hounds you`ve got there. They really are mans best friend.
Thank you kindly.

Cant believe you use bleach!!! Poor dog had bleach in his eyes and then dragged in a pen ….bless it 😤😡
I wish everyone took care of their animals like you. My heart aches for many animals, but definitely outside dogs that are neglected.

I can tell that you really love and appreciate your dogs. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching. I really do!
I love old school, thank you sir! Old school is great exercise!! Who needs the gym, the outdoors and doing things yourself is wonderful exercise. I find the outdoors healing and connects us with beautiful nature. When I mow and tend to my lawn, I sweep up/pick up the grass clippings and debris afterward, while neighbors use those noisy blowers (nothing wrong with it, jus not my thing and I am also trying to save money, not spend). Sweeping is good for the arms and as a 62 yo young lady I need the workout, lol! I save all clippings for my compost and mulch, no need to buy. Love this channel and have subscribed!!
Outdoors is healing! I really appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I came across your video, just wanted to say the way u treat ur dogs is great! Thanks for being a good houndsman. I have seen bad stuff but u are great .ty

Best video that I have ever seen for fleas

Thank you so much , glad I found you. I have spent a fortune on shampoos & sprays and a collar & today we just found eleven ticks on the dog. 🤷♀️So will be filling up a large tub & dipping him in it, & the bleach will help with his white coat. Thanks again . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You are absolutely welcome! Thanks for watching!
Please be careful around the eye's imagine dish soap and bleach in your eye's and not being able to rinse them. I think this guy cares very much for his dogs and I like his idea's. The only thing I'd do differently is rinse the eye's and put cotton balls in ears.
Thank you for introducing us to your pups❤
Loved to video. Did you know you can drop Puralube Vet Ointment in their eyes to keep the dip out of their eyes. It forms a protective layer over their eye.
Thanks for that information!
Be true, you do right
Nice job! They need and deserve the love you put into them. They work hard to please us as their masters.

Son, in the cut in NC. we only do old school! Blue Dawn, a little bleach, sulfur shampoo like head & shoulders. I just tote dunked in WHAT? Happy Jack. Thanks for putting this out there. Ohh and pawpaw always dunked his hunters in the motor oil mix.
I appreciate someone that knows the old school ways. Thanks for watching.
Thanks OG! I believe you
It works!!!
I just watched your video last night. My 3 beagles are just itching and itching. After a bath with Dawn soap and apple cider vinegar, the first day after is good. Then it starts all over right away.
I read in the comments this is a dip you use. So how often do you bathe your beagles? How often do you dip them? To dip them, I will use what I have until I can get what you recommend. I really appreciate the video. I have Dawn soap, olive oil, beagle shampoo, bleach for the dip on hand.
One more thing. So, you rinse after bathing, but don't rinse after dipping?
Dont do this!!! Dangerous for the eyes my vet says, and you dont want them to lick and ingest these products!
You need to wash them 3 times to remove the eggs stuck on their hair follicles. And oil prevents the flea eggs from sticking on hair follicles. Wash them 3 times at once, not on separate days to remove the eggs!
Yessssirrrr come on through OG with tha good ole old school TECHNIQUE!
Love how you love your dogs good to see
Always take time with my canine friends. Thanks for watching.
I love your information thank you so much I'm definitely going to try all of this for my little dog again thank you

The eye area.... be careful of that. Put cotton balls in ears to prevent water frm getting in but don't forget to remove afterwards. This is a great instructional video!

Do you have a video for treating your home? Use the same stuff? Minus the Clorox? Thank you!
Per Happy Jack, it is NOT recommended that you rinse 🚿 them off. Just let them drip dry.

thank you love how you emphasize being close an touching your dog but I always heard getting dogs inside ears will cause infection. But I have a question isn't the bleach hard on their eyes and toxic if you leave it on your dogs ??? Thanks for the video
They close their eyes. I have never had a dog have any negative reaction. I don't use this method any longer. I love Nexgard Spectra.
Watching from Australia. Excellent video. Thank you.

I do use dawn with bleach additive. I used the bath tub and I soak him down with the shower sprayer. And just put the dawn all over his fur and get em all sudsy and the fleas you can see them trying to escape his fur. They die within seconds. I swear by dawn. My bear is 130 pounds. He's half hound and half pitbull he didn't like the tub at first. But now I have him to the point where I just say the word "tub" and he gets in it. Some good info you gotta touch your dogsand I definitely will be trying some of the product you have here. Subscribed.
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing. I also appreciate the comments!
Great video. Thank you

I've had my chihuahua for 8 years, & I've always sent him to the vet 2x a year, given him Bravecto, & given him baths. Recently, I've mostly treated him at home. THIS is the first video explaining to me about flea dips using bleach... I've always been skeptical due to the toxicity to dogs, but now my chihuahua is having an issue with ticks, I may use this method since I liked the way you went into details about its effective results. Thank you
You are most welcome
One more thing, does this method also work for in-house pets that occasionally go outside?
@@preciouswilliams22 it does!
My grandaddy always used burnt motor oil for mange and it worked every time.... I adopted a dog who was in pretty ruff condition and I did just as I had always seen him do but it didn't work...it actually made it worse...I asked a few of my elders/his friends (he passed away a couple years ago) and they said it was because of lower sulfur content in the new synthetic oils... The old motor oils smothered the mites and the sulfur prevented secondary fungal infections from scratching....do u know if this is true.? I'd be grateful for any insight..thank u in advance.
That is true that the oil does not contain the sulfur it did years ago. Try Happy Jack products.
The butt first strategy is brilliant.
Thanks for watching.
Seen alot of dog bathing vids and yours seems to be the easiest to keep up with. Does it matter the measurements of the liquids or is there a "recipe"? Also, you don't have to rinse them at all? They're just good to go after you dip and scub them? Cool!
I have a 2 y/o pit mix. Thanks!
For the dip there are instructions. I go by the smell. When you can smell the meds in the water, you know you are good. No, you dip and let air dry. You want the meds to dry on them.
Great video man! Thank you for the facts
Thanks for watching!!
How often a month do you bathe / dip your dogs??
I dip once a month when it is warm outside.
Love what u do brother💯 Quick question if u will, do any of your dogs ever have skin issues due to not being rinsed off after the Dip????
No they have never had skin issues.
@@FeatherstonFamilyOutdoors I will give it a try
Been picking up a few out in the steel city
My dog was constantly scratching and I honestly thought it was due to food allergies because we checked her for fleas but never saw any on her or in the house. I watched your video, bought all products, replaced her bed, and did everything you did…I just was to simply say THANK YOU! My dog slept through the night for the first time in a very long time.
I do have a question - how often I should bathe her between the monthly dips?

Question - my husband is a marine engineer and has been out on many oil spills. They put Dawn in the ocean and also on the animals to break up the oil so it just disintegrates. Wouldn’t that be happening to the Happy Jack Mange oil?
I would imagine that is what happens. I'm not exactly sure how it works, I just know that it does work.
My malinois few days ago i found out got infected with flea and tick when actually a week ago was none.
Now im trying hard to remove them... with using vinegar and other medication a prescription tablet for tick.
. And give him a good bath ... hope to get rid rid of this soon... cause a tick meant to me, unhygenic somewhere..
Hope all is better soon! Thanks for watching!

After giving him a flea medicine, good for one month dose, forgot the name now, but its readily available from online sale. Its now completely free from tick and flea.
He never scratches his bodies anymore.
How much of each do you put in the water?? I just saw you pour.
It's by feel. I'm sorry.
Ok so a good 5 to 8 second squeeze of dawn. 1 to 2 glups or splashes of bleach. ( It only takes one cap per gallon to sanitize dishes but this is probably double that to help disinfect open sores cased by scratching and bites. ) one quick pour of the tar and aloe shampoo and then a half pour on the happy jack mange medication and the happy jack kennel dip no2
good job thanks
Absolutely!
What is your ratio for all these ingredients?
Ratio is on the bottles, but you can't have too much. It will be fine.
