Just because I made it for me, I share the build order reminder with you :P AGE I - All vills to food (don't mine any gold) - Take wood treasures in priority → 1st CARD: 3 vills *Age up*: The quartermaster: 400 wood Timing: 2:30 TRANSITION I - II Goal: have 350 food & 350 wood at the same time to build a bank. - ~10 vills to wood - ~4 vills stay at food - Build the bank with 3 vills ASAP - move a lot of vills to coin to have 100 gold when the transition finishes - focus now on gold treasures AGE II → 2nd CARD: 700 wood - 3 vills to gold, some to wood, all the other to food - when you get the 700 wood, move the villagers from wood to crates, then move them to gold - Build a military building Timing: 4:30 → 3rd CARD: Bank wagon - increase progressively the amount of vills mining → 4th CARD: 600 wood (normal strat) OR 8 pikes (aggressive strat) *Age up* Timing: around 8:10
Commenting primarily in the hopes that the algorithm fails no nut November, but also, your content is truly amazing, informative, and just exactly what I'm looking for with regards to this game. Cheers, and I look forward to watching what you put out next!
Dutch are bugged at the moment, they only start with 1 wood crate rather than two. Hopefully it will be fixed next patch so we can see more high level Dutch play. Thanks for the video as always.
The first game I tried with widescreen was LoL, it meant that when I was playing Top lane I was able to see the river, which gave me an incredibly advantage as I didn't need to check minimap for the enemy roams. The same thing continues in AOE3, where I am able to see a huge amount more of the battlefield due to having a wider monitor. I am very fortunate that the developers support this aspect ratio.
God I love AOE III so much but the idea that aging up to the third age at 7 minutes 40 is late just illustrates why so many AOE2 elitists don't like the pacing of this game haha. I actually do like the pacing but it would be cool if the first and second ages lasted a little longer, with a 15 minute third age. But hey, if it ain't broke...
As someone who plays both: I kinda get why AoE2 players don't like the pacing of AoE3. The amount of free food (a concept that doesn't make as much sense in AoE3 compared to AoE2, but think of the amount of farms you got to build, and when), the lack of economic infrastructure (no drop off points in AoE3 at all) are definitely elements that make the first two ages rather short and a bit empty, especially considering the homecity brings such dramatic swings/spikes - age 1 has basically only the explorer in terms of gameplay, whereas in AoE2, you got to do a lot of eco management as well. I think adding some vital tech(s) in the tc in age 1 (like AoE2's loom) might work wonders for this, without changing the game too much What might be an important factor as well, is that in AoE2, you can't really destroy buildings (besides the occasional house) in age 2, while you can actually end the game in AoE3 (with grenadiers for example). This gives an important/interesting decision to make in AoE2: to be able to destroy, you need a lot of idle time (=aging up twice) from your tc and in most builds a very long age 1, meaning your enemy will have ór the stronger economy (more vills) ór is able to rush you in age 2 (which won't be game ending, but just killing vills). Extending age 1 isn't really an option in AoE3, considering you'll be better off in a higher age (because the cards will be better and you can only make soldiers from age 2 onwards)
Top Aoe III content at this moment
a FF video without going into fortress age? hehe the gameplan is just that good
the definition of absolutely tilted opponent XD
Love seeing quality go up each video, keep going, you'll get SOTL's recognition sooner or later
Really enjoy how you explain your choices and the overall quality of the videos! Keep it up
Please keep making these video's! Great quality & and very enjoyable to watch!
Just because I made it for me, I share the build order reminder with you :P
AGE I
- All vills to food (don't mine any gold)
- Take wood treasures in priority
→ 1st CARD: 3 vills
*Age up*: The quartermaster: 400 wood
Timing: 2:30
TRANSITION I - II
Goal: have 350 food & 350 wood at the same time to build a bank.
- ~10 vills to wood
- ~4 vills stay at food
- Build the bank with 3 vills ASAP
- move a lot of vills to coin to have 100 gold when the transition finishes
- focus now on gold treasures
AGE II
→ 2nd CARD: 700 wood
- 3 vills to gold, some to wood, all the other to food
- when you get the 700 wood, move the villagers from wood to crates, then move them to gold
- Build a military building
Timing: 4:30
→ 3rd CARD: Bank wagon
- increase progressively the amount of vills mining
→ 4th CARD: 600 wood (normal strat) OR 8 pikes (aggressive strat)
*Age up*
Timing: around 8:10
Sooooo, 12-13 villager age up? 2:30 feels super late for that.
when you post... no joke I get a tingle sensation down below.
It's NNN so that's a no no
@@MaTRiXHDMI stay strong soldier
@@MaTRiXHDMI mate I already lost when he posted

Wow, I'm gonna watch this again and practice. I'm still new at this game.
Every time I play with friends they always have more resources than me
Last few times I played the Dutch I went for the barracks + 1 halb so I can counter cav and inf in age 2. What do you think of this?
man ducth complete played now in age 2 with logistic save wood in age 2 for get Banks more fast
Halbs are very strong but quartmaster wood and only 800 cost make him the king still in my mind.
How do you determine whether to send the bank wagon or 700 wood first?
Great ! Love playing the Dutch!
Offtopic question, but how is your experience gaming on 21:9 compared to 16:9/10 for AoE3. It looks like you get a bigger view of the battlefield.

@@AussieDrongo cheers mate. definitively looks nice such a wide screen
YESSS thankyou!!
What about market upgrades?
This is brilliant, but I like the FP strategy more (Fast Petards)
In what scenario would you use the 4 vill shipment?
Extended second age fighting.
@@AussieDrongo is it an essential card as you seem to use it in most of your decks?
I have tried this a few times on different maps, but without mining any gold I only have enough for 14 villagers, not 15. What am I doing wrong?
Most maps don't have enough gold crates to make 15 without needing to mine.
Why does the "Early safe/def" build order ship the bank first?
Why do you have the weak skirm shipment instead of swiss pikes? Pikes such a good compliment on dutch.
Do you ever actually ship the 4 villager card btw? Between the bank wagon and the wood it doesn't seem like it would come into play very often
Never as the Dutch ...
I do FF around 9 minutes but without banks and with pikes + skirms.
Quality content very sexy
can the dutch smoge weed in definitive edition?
smoge
Great vid
Would help if you explain the age up a bit more and went to fortress
wow... just incredible... :D I am so far away from that... holy smoke...
Can i use that in 3v3?:)
Dutch is tough to play against for me.. ouch
How are you going to defend 30 musks on your bank + TC at 9m?
Hmmm...but 5 cows? Dutch don't normally get 5 cows to help with food. Doesn't strike me as a typical Dutch game. Love your videos but....
PERFECT
im gay for legos

Can we get a game when you lose lol? Be good to see your thoughts on how a game that went 'badly' could have been played better.
he has a spain video where he loses against swedes, dont remember which exactly
Too many cry babies in this game that quit for no reason.
