I spent around 2 hours comparing what I was seeing, to what OBS was recording, to what FIlmora was spitting out as an output, and came to the conclusion I needed to up the bitrate significantly. Thank you once again for pointing it out as it only confirmed my suspicions!
Saw a tournament game in which the German player scouted the map and destroyed the torps once, and again, and again. So after surviving the swedish push, should go for the torps instead of the TC. Still very well played 👌

I am intrigued, you had strongly advocated for the Logistician as the most powerful age-up for Spain because of the tempo of pressure it allowed. Does this apply only to Age 2 rushes and is not as good for FF? What would be the disadvantages, if any, of using the Logistician in an FF strategy? Thanks for the post, it was both informative and very entertaining. By the way, do you think Spain with the new card changes and Logistician is finally on par with other civs or is it still a one trick pony?
Funny you say that. I've got a logistician FF strategy I've been working on which enables you to age up very fast (20 secs faster than normal) - but you forgo the forward outpost, which is really whats so important in spanish FF. From now on vs Sweden I'll look to utilise this as to avoid losing my forward outpost.
Will there be a build order or strategy for the Lakota in the near future? They are so much fun too play but not counting rifle riders they seem soo weak often in many regards. I must be doing something wrong.
I could have won if I had microed my units correctly, I need to bring my rodeleros up to meet the top group of caroleans, and kept my lancer and hussar on the bottom group of caroleans, enabling both 2 falcs to remain alive and thereby decisively winning the fight, but I neglected them. So it was more a mismanagement of units rather than a failure of rock/paper/scissors.
Diarouga made a video saying that the incas are weak. Do you agree with him? Could you make a video talking more about the incas? Your channel is awesome!

Hi Drongo, i've been struggling in 1v1's as Russia on the long run, specially vs France. I think economy is the key to make Russia good again, any idieas on how to setup a good Russia eco/military start ?
It can be really hard, especially vs civilisations with strong cavalry. This matchup in particular is difficult because France really counter a lot that Russia have got. Instead of Strelet, focus on Musket production and map control through the logistician.

could you show us a way to defeat mass pikeman and cannon? I have a friend that is a pain the only strategy he know how to use and i just cant get throw :(
A couple of things, my macro was poor, I should have had 13 vills on coin 8 vills on food to maintain a better production of skirms and therefore increase my mass, also in the last fight I needed to be guarding my 2 falc more closely instead of going out to meet the enemy units, especially sending both rods / lancer / huss to the north, should have kept the cav down south to defend against Carls.
Because you can gather the 1200 food before you need to age up, and you don't need that extra 500 food. The outpost that the governor gives you enables you to have a forward base of operations and hit with a faster timing.
That is to say, the same FF for 15 years, it has no mystery, Diarouga only has to do caroleans and GG, Sweden is really OP and easy to play, Spain as always losing because you only have a single strategy, FF and if you fail in the first push you've lost. hahaha Diarouga saying in the forum that Spain is tier 1 or 2 makes me laugh . He didn't even need his 2 falconets to kill all ur army XD
Spain is tier 1 or 2 for 1v1 IMO, they are in a very good position. Only Sweden would be above them. Sweden don't seem to have any bad MUs (except spain, which can be handled somewhat with early aggression). I did mis-micro my mass and lost my falcs, where as Diarouga was able to time the fight perfectly, even though he lost his 2 falcs, the villager pop + MM + charge from carls was very well executed.

It's a shame that most games don't go past the fortress age. So many of the game's best features take place there

I changed my mind about Inca. They actually feel really good in some situations.

did you change your wardog building hotkey and if so how did you do it i cant seem to find it in the hotkey section
wardog is 3rd option 1st row on explorer so E on default.
